Chapter 654 Climbing onto the Plane

Chapter 654 Climbing onto the Plane (2nd Update)
In the darkness surrounding the runway at Haneda Airport, cold dew soaked the grass.

Shiraishi E, Sato Miwako, Miyamoto Yumi, and Miike Naeko were all covered in rough ghillie suits, lying motionless behind a slightly raised earthen slope like four moss-covered stones, almost blending into their surroundings.

The air was filled with the smell of grass and the distinctive odor of aviation fuel in the distance.

Yumi Miyamoto buried her face in the grass, letting out a muffled, almost whimpering sob: "I must have really gone mad... I must have gotten my brain caught in a door, how could I... how could I have followed you guys into doing something so dangerous, something that only happens in Hollywood slapstick movies..."

Her fingers unconsciously dug into the soil, filled with regret.

Miike Naeko, standing next to her, was in even worse condition; she seemed to be experiencing a brief moment of delirium due to excessive tension and fear.

She jerked her head up, revealing a pair of bewildered and terrified eyes beneath the ghillie suit's hood. She looked around at the dark surroundings and the blinding lights of the track in the distance, her voice trembling with tears and disbelief: "What happened? I...how did I get here? Where am I? I don't want to play anymore...I want to go home...I miss my mom!!"

Although Sato Miwako's heart was pounding like a drum, as the most resolute of the three, she could only suppress her fear and whispered to comfort her, "Naoko! Calm down! Don't make a sound!"

She sighed and said helplessly, "Since you're so scared and don't want to go, then you all stay here and don't move. Once the plane has taken off and it's safe, then quietly leave the way you came."

Although she hoped for help, she was unwilling to force her friend to participate in such a life-threatening act.

Shiraishi E lay prone at the front, observing the runway and hangar through a miniature night vision telescope. Upon hearing this, she chuckled and said, "I advise you to give up on this plan as soon as possible."

Without turning his head, he gestured with his chin in the direction they had sneaked in: "See those moving lights over there? Airport security patrol cars have already reached the spot where we just climbed over the barbed wire. Anyone who goes back now is walking into a trap."

Miyamoto Yumi and Miike Naeko followed his gaze and indeed saw several beams of flashlight beams scanning back and forth near their infiltration point in the distance, with figures moving in the distance.

Now, their faces turned deathly pale in the darkness, their last escape route cut off, leaving them truly in a predicament.

It was unclear whether they wanted to say something else, whether it was a complaint or a prayer.

But just then, the engine of the white private jet in the distance suddenly roared loudly!

The sound gradually increased in volume, quickly becoming deafening!
"It's starting!" Shiraishi E roared, ripping off her ghillie suit. Her eyes instantly sharpened like an eagle's. "Prepare for action!!"

The roar of the engine acted like a shot of adrenaline, or perhaps a catalyst for despair, instantly overwhelming all fear and hesitation.

Sato Miwako, Miyamoto Yumi, and Miike Naeko felt a sudden tightness in their chests. All their wild thoughts were thrown to the back of their minds. Their survival instincts and remaining professional skills instantly focused all their attention on the plane that had begun to move slowly and then gradually accelerated.

Like a leopard spotting its prey, Shiraishi E growled, "Run!" and charged out like an arrow, her legs moving at an astonishing pace as she chased after the increasingly fast-moving plane!
His speed was beyond imagination. He calculated the lead time precisely and narrowly approached the landing gear, which was still retracting, before the aircraft reached its speed limit!

He seized the opportunity, leaped up suddenly, grabbed a structural component inside the landing gear bay with both hands, and flipped up with the agility of an ape, landing steadily inside!

However, his movements were too fast and too fierce. Although Sato Miwako, Miyamoto Yumi, and Miike Naeko also ran with all their might, they were far slower than him.

They were dressed in casual clothes unsuitable for running; Yumi Miyamoto was even wearing low heels. Their stamina wasn't particularly outstanding either, so they could only watch helplessly as the plane accelerated, widening the distance between them!

The plane has begun to lift off and is about to leave the runway!

"No, we can't catch up!" Sato Miwako said unwillingly.

Just then, Shiraishi E, who had successfully boarded the plane, made a move that surprised them.

He bought a folding emergency rescue rope ladder directly from the bandit's online store and then threw it down.

The ladder unfolded in the air and hung down.

Upon seeing this, the three policewomen sprinted forward and grabbed the swaying ladder!

Sato Miwako was the first to grab it, followed closely by Miyamoto Yumi and Miike Naeko, who clung tightly to the lower sections of the horizontal bar!
The very next second they grabbed the ladder, the plane's nose wheel lifted off the ground!

A tremendous lift came, and they felt their bodies suddenly lighten, their feet instantly leaving the ground!

The ground rushed past beneath their feet, the airport lights shrank rapidly, and a strong sense of weightlessness and howling winds instantly enveloped them!
"Aaaaaah—!!" The scream of extreme terror was torn apart by the raging wind.

The three of them were like grasshoppers strung on a rope, hanging below the ever-rising plane, with the earth below them growing smaller and more dizzying. The icy wind lashed their faces like knives, making it almost impossible to breathe.

Now, even if they regretted it and wanted to let go, it was too late. Driven by their survival instincts, they clung desperately to the life-saving yet deadly rope ladder, their knuckles turning white from the effort, almost digging into the rope. Miyamoto Yumi and Miike Naeko could no longer suppress their fear; their tears, barely flowing, were swept away by the gale, and they burst into loud sobs, their voices filled with despair and regret.

"Ugh... I shouldn't have come... What's the point of saving face... Waaah... Oh my god..."

"Help... I can't go on... I'm going to fall... To lose my life for that little bit of justice... How stupid!!"

Miwako Sato was suspended at the top of the room. She wanted to comfort her friend who was crying below, but she found that her voice was trembling so badly that it was filled with strong winds as soon as she opened her mouth.

Moreover, she was so terrified that her heart was pounding in her throat, and she had no idea what comforting words she could say.

This was the first time she had experienced something like this, and she was terrified!
Sato Miwako could only desperately lift her head, peering through her hair that was whipping wildly in the wind at the blurry figure in the landing gear bay, and screamed with all her might, "Shira...Ishi...kun!! What...is...next?! What...should...we...do?!!" Every word was almost torn apart by the wind.

Shiraishi E's voice came from the wind above: "Wait!"

"Wait?!" Sato Miwako could hardly believe her ears. In a situation where they could be smashed to pieces or frozen solid at any moment, all they could do was wait?!
"Yes! Wait for the plane to land!" Shiraishi E's voice floated down again.

"Falling...?!" Sato Miwako's face was ashen, her voice filled with despair: "I...don't think...I can...hold on...for...that long...?!" She seemed to feel her hands starting to go numb.

Below, Yumi Miyamoto cried out, "It's more than that!! When the plane reaches an altitude of several thousand meters... we... won't be able to breathe... we'll suffocate... and die!!"

Miike Naeko's voice was weak, carrying an eerie calm, as if she had already accepted her impending death: "Before we stopped breathing... due to lack of oxygen... we were already... cold corpses... from hypothermia..."

Hearing the desperate analysis, tinged with sobs, coming from below, Shiraishi E laughed and shouted, "Look how scared you all are... Don't worry, I have a plan!"

As he spoke, he bought several miniature explosive bombs from the bandit's online store and stuck them in the gaps of the hatch.

Then he shouted down, "Hold on tight! Cover your ears!"

Before the three women could react—

"boom!!!"

A muffled but not loud explosion rang out, accompanied by a slight tremor!

The side door of the cargo hold was blown open, creating a gap large enough for a person to pass through!
The violent airflow from outside the cabin rushed in instantly!

Shiraishi E's figure quickly disappeared into the landing gear bay.

A few seconds later, he leaned out of the blown-open cargo door and began to frantically retrieve the rescue ladder!
"He...he's pulling us up!!" Sato Miwako was the first to react, shouting in surprise.

Despite the still fierce winds, the hope of survival gave them extra strength.

Shiraishi E's arm strength was astonishing. With her own strength, she overcame the wind resistance and the weight of three people, slowly pulling the rope ladder and the three people on it toward the cargo hold door.

The first one to be pulled in was Miwako Sato. She practically rolled into the cabin, her cold, stiff body unable to move for a moment.

Next was Yumi Miyamoto. As soon as she entered the cabin, she collapsed to the ground, gasping for breath, but her tears flowed even more fiercely, a release from the ordeal.

Finally, there was Miike Naeko; Shiraishi E practically dragged her in.

She collapsed onto the cold, rough cargo hold floor, her hands and feet trembling uncontrollably like noodles, only able to gasp for the cold, but at least she could breathe in the air.

Outside the hatch, the deafening roar of engines and the howling wind reminded her that what she had just experienced was not a nightmare, but reality!

Shiraishi quickly used spare materials to temporarily block the damaged hatch, reducing some noise and airflow.

He looked at the three policewomen who were still in shock and slumped on the ground, and smiled, "Take a break and recover your strength. Although the explosion wasn't very loud, someone will come to check it out soon. We don't have much time left."

These words made the three policewomen, who had just breathed a sigh of relief, start to feel anxious again.
