Chapter 18: Creation in Seven Days (Part )

Slightly lower than Asgard by half a level is Alfheim, which is reserved for the elves of light.

As for the bottom layer close to the roots of the World Tree, it is composed of four worlds.

They are Svartalfheim, a land reserved for dwarves and gnomes, Helheim, the cold and foggy kingdom of the dead, Niflheim, the extremely primitive kingdom of fog, and Muspelheim, the kingdom of fire which is leaderless after losing Surtur.
