Chapters 469 & 467: The Battle of Gorlitz (Bonus Chapter 13)

The Gallipoli landings began in late February of the New Divine Calendar 315 and continued intermittently for several months until June.

As a battle to prove themselves in the Kingdom of Sardinia, you really can't say they didn't try!
As the number of troops increased and the fortifications built after landing became more and more elaborate, extraordinary experts took the lead and acted as the vanguard in order to seize the position.

The mage guild even seized the opportunity and started throwing magic scrolls around like they were free.

The Kingdom of Sardinia has some shame!

They considered themselves invincible at sea, and seeing the Bonaparte Empire showing signs of weakness, they wanted to take its place and become the recognized hegemon and leader.

If it weren't for the fact that the Slavic Empire had built quite a few trenches and was able to barely construct defensive positions, they would have been overwhelmed long ago.

Or, to be more precise, it had already collapsed long ago.

It's just a cycle of collapse and regrouping, only to be broken down again, a constant resistance followed by defeat.

Especially in the northern Caucasus region, the imperial offensive was relentless and exceptionally fierce.

This battle truly demonstrated what it means to strike at the lowest dimension!

It was in this battle that the Slavic Empire was almost completely exposed, and everyone realized just how weak they were!
This even gave an opportunity to a country located to the south of the Slavic Empire, which also attempted to launch an attack to reclaim the land that had been ceded.

Unfortunately, they regretted it after they actually took action.

Because the incident happened so suddenly, they initially gained some advantage, but the Slavs, once they realized what was happening, launched their fiercest counterattack.

And then, that elite legion of the kingdom simply vanished.

Of those who escaped, only three or four out of ten returned, a truly devastating loss.

Even with such a Slavic army, they were still thoroughly thrashed by the Empire.

At this point, everyone realized that it wasn't that the Slavs were weak, but that the empire was too strong.

It's not that traditional knight tactics are no longer effective, it's just that magical weapons are more powerful.

As a result of this incident, countless countries have become even more interested in the magic energy industry.

It is worth mentioning that, in order to alleviate the pressure on the Slavic Empire, the allied forces unanimously decided to intensify their offensive against the Ottoman Kingdom.

Around late May, the landing operation in the Gallipoli region intensified, with more than a dozen natural disasters even taking action, clearing out an area and giving the coalition forces a significant victory.

This also gave the empire a fright.

In just one day, the defensive line was breached, and the Imperial Army launched a fierce attack, forcing the Slavic Legion to retreat.

Three days later, the Slavic army retreated to the San River and fought fiercely with the Empire again. After three more days of fighting, they were defeated once more.

The imperial army crossed the Sang River and launched a major eastward advance.

Six days later, the Imperial army launched a fierce attack, and the Slavic legions suffered repeated defeats until, ten days later, the city of Lviv was lost.

Thus, in late June of the New Divine Calendar 315, the Empire achieved a great victory on the eastern front, perfectly concluding its counter-offensive plan and gaining vast territories.

This battle is also known as the Battle of Gorlitz.

This battle demonstrated the imperial military might once again, and also showed all the nations of the Old World that the Bonaparte Empire would have been conquered long ago had it not been for its shameless 'fouls'.

Of course, Luo Yi just watched the show.
