Chapter 81: Post-Game and Herbalism

Chapter 81: Post-Game and Herbalism
When Ivy generously showed off the Golden Snitch in his hand, Madam Hooch finally blew the whistle to end the game. The score between the two colleges finally settled at 320:50, with Slytherin winning by a huge margin of 270 points.

In addition to discussing the exaggerated score, people were also discussing Harry's amazing jump in the air. After all, no normal person would ignore the height of up to 100 feet and complete the jump towards their goal, not to mention that Harry almost caught the Golden Snitch.

When Ivy landed with Harry and the Golden Snitch in his arms, all the spectators in the stands rushed into the stadium. People jumped and shouted on the lawn that had just sprouted new buds, trampling on the tender green of early spring.

The Slytherins threw aside their reserve and pride and loudly showed off their victory; the Gryffindors all looked at Harry with admiration. The courage he showed in catching the Golden Snitch was a trait that the Gryffindors were proud of.

"You are very brave, Mr. Potter." Professor McGonagall took Harry from Ivy and nodded at him while commenting on Harry's previous behavior. "You could even say it was reckless. If Mr. Doom hadn't caught you, you might have been the only student in Hogwarts to die in a Quidditch match in a century. Promise me that you won't do this again next time, or I'll have to ban you from the game for life."

Harry didn't dare to look up at Professor McGonagall's face. His eyes were fixed on her hands as she was tidying up his clothes. After a while, he said in a low voice, "I promise there won't be a next time, Professor McGonagall."

"Although I don't hold out much hope for Gryffindor's assurances, I still want to advise you to think about your friends, those who care about you, and those you care about before doing anything dangerous. Well, Mr. Potter, go and thank Mr. Doom. Thank you for bringing a wonderful game to the audience."

"I'm sorry, Ivy." Harry came to Ivy and said sincerely, "What I said in heaven... was just to irritate you... Also, thank you for saving my life."

Ivy stared into his emerald eyes for a long time, until Harry's eyes began to wander and he looked uneasy, then he smiled and said, "It's okay, we are friends."

"What a respectable friendship!" A tall figure stood beside the two of them at some point. It was Dumbledore. He was wearing a gorgeous dark purple robe today, which was decorated with stars woven with silver thread. Even the high-top boots that were faintly visible from the hem of the robe had silver buckles.

He reached into his pocket with his hand covered with many exquisite rings, took out a handful of chocolates and shared them with the two Seekers, while saying in a cheerful tone: "Although Minerva...your Professor McGonagall has said it, I still want to thank you for the wonderful game you brought to everyone. But I personally think that the friendship between you that transcends the barriers of house prejudice is more touching. Especially you, Harry, it's great to see that you are not obsessed with that mirror every day, and live your life so fully."

"And now," Dumbledore went on, "please excuse me for having taken up so much of your time. Return to your fellow students and enjoy yourself."

"By the way, Harry." Dumbledore called Harry and pulled out a broom from behind like a magic trick. It was Harry's Nimbus 2000. After Harry completed that amazing dive, it slipped out of people's sight.

"I took a quick look and saw signs of personal modification, with some impressive anti-dark charms and even a securing charm added to it. Thanks to them the broom didn't fall apart when you did the Wronski feint. Perhaps you would be willing to introduce me to your broom maker?"

"The broom maker... you must be talking about Ivy." Harry suddenly realized that Ivy had saved him more than once. "He's the only one who took my broom apart."

"Really?" Dumbledore looked back at Ivy, who was surrounded by the Slytherins and receiving enthusiastic compliments. "I didn't know Mr. Doom had such a skill. But I guess now is not a good time to disturb him."

————In the next few days, the castle was filled with eager eyes. Everyone tried to talk to Ivy with various purposes. Although most of them would retreat under the gazes of Slytherin senior students, there were still one or two who would ignore their pressing gazes and boldly chat about some strange topics.

At first, Ivy could still handle a few words, but after a while, he began to get annoyed.

"I never thought that being a sports star would be more popular than being a magic master. Is there some strange deviation in the values education at Hogwarts?"

"Because the students in this school are just a group of children. They will be confused by the flowers and applause, and thus cannot see that the greatest power in the world is at the fingertips of each of them." It was Cassandra who answered Ivy. Since the black magic sigil was engraved on her, this unruly girl has become much more obedient. She even lowered her head respectfully when talking to Ivy.

"What about you, Miss Wally? Why do you want to gain power?" Ivy watched Cassandra working among the plant boxes with great interest. This was the Room of Requirement. Although Ivy had moved the place where magic experiments were conducted to the map secret room under the castle, he was not going to abandon this magical room and continued to use it.

Having noticed that Cassandra had been praised many times by Professor Sprout, the head of Hufflepuff House, in the Herbology class, Ivy took out some plant seeds that she had cultivated from the Tome of Destruction and gave them to Cassandra to cultivate in the Room of Requirement.

The first batch of herbal seeds only had two types, Biting Cabbage and Poison Tentacles, which were also the two most aggressive types in Ivy's collection. Usually, only three or four of them were needed to kill a giant monster.

Hearing Ivy's question, Cassandra raised her head from the plant box and replied, "For revenge."

"Revenge?" Ivy smiled. "Isn't that dark wizard with pointy teeth and tumors all over his face dead? Killed by your uncle - bang!"

Ivy made a shooting gesture with his fingers.

He saw it from Cassandra's memory. The young Cassandra remembered the loud noise and fire in that memory so clearly that Ivy made the judgment easily.

As for Cassandra's uncle, Legilimency is based on the perspective of the person involved, so Ivy only saw a pair of sexy Martin boots.

However, according to Ivy's guess, the man with the same surname, Wally, must be a biker who likes to ride a Harley motorcycle around the streets, and he also wears a leather jacket studded with rivets and sunglasses. Considering the noise caused by the weapon he used to kill the dark wizard, it might be a pump-action shotgun.
