She first bowed deeply to the Jade Emperor, the Queen Mother of the West, Nuwa, and many other human saints, adopting an extremely humble posture.

"Great Master, have you come here to exonerate this thieving bald man?" The Queen Mother's tone was icy, and the flames on her phoenix feather fan did not subside.

Guanyin Bodhisattva's face showed sorrow, and she sighed softly, saying, "Amitabha. This humble monk has come not to defend Vairocana Buddha."

"The Haotian Mirror reveals destiny, and the evidence is irrefutable. The Buddhist sect is indeed responsible for its inadequate supervision, which allowed unscrupulous people to use the name of Buddhism to commit such a heinous and immoral act, leading to today's disaster."

She directly acknowledged the responsibility of the Buddhist community, characterizing Vairocana Buddha's actions as a pretext for petty wrongdoing due to inadequate supervision. This not only gave the Heavenly Court a way out but also attempted to limit the impact to a few scoundrels, thus preserving some dignity for the Buddhist community as a whole.

"This humble monk has come here for another urgent matter, to inform His Majesty and the Empress. After all, the Seventh Princess of the Heavenly Court is currently in imminent danger of death, and if she is not rescued in time, the consequences may be unimaginable."

The Jade Emperor's eyes narrowed, and an ominous premonition rose in his heart once more. At this moment, the Queen Mother of the West spoke directly, asking, "What's wrong with Qi'er? Tell me quickly."

The seven fairies protected their slightly protruding bellies, their celestial swords dimmed, and blood trickled from the corners of their mouths, clearly indicating that they were injured and in a precarious situation.

Dong Yong, holding a seemingly ordinary woodcutter's knife that now emitted a faint Buddhist light, stood protectively in front of his wife as if possessed, his body covered in wounds.

"This is Wanku Mountain, the stronghold of the Thousand-Eyed Centipede and the Poisonous Lady. How could Qi'er have fallen into this predicament?"

The Queen Mother cried out in alarm, her face turning deathly pale. The Weaver Girl, seeing her sister in danger, was terrified.

Guanyin Bodhisattva explained: "In his previous life, Dong Yong was a Kinnara musician among the eight classes of beings in the Western Buddhist Kingdom who was banished to the cycle of reincarnation for breaking the precepts."

“Deep within her true spirit, there remains a Buddhist imprint. When the Seventh Princess descended to the mortal realm without permission, her love affair triggered a tribulation that was sensed by the demons of Wanku Mountain. They regarded her immortal spiritual energy and the Buddhist nature hidden within Dong Yong as a great tonic.”

"Therefore, a trap was set to capture him, intending to devour him for his own benefit. Fortunately, the Buddhist mark within Dong Yong was sensitive, which is how our Buddhist sect became aware of this matter."
