Nuwa's gaze was sharp as a knife as she looked at Vairocana Buddha and the green ox, which was suppressed in the heavenly clouds, its Buddhist power completely imprisoned, its eyes filled with resentment but unable to move.

At the same time, the Heavenly Auspicious Clouds churned, and instantly, the Azure Ox Venerable's miserable scream rang out. However, it was only a single scream before his primordial spirit and physical body were completely obliterated by the Heavenly Auspicious Clouds.

As Nuwa made her move, the Jade Emperor did not hesitate for a moment. He raised his Haotian Sword and slashed directly at Vairocana Buddha.

Vairocana Buddha tried to dodge, but suddenly felt that his body had been imprisoned by an invisible force.

He could only watch helplessly as the Jade Emperor's Haotian Sword slashed towards his throat, easily severing his head.

Immediately, a relic flew out from the body of Vairocana Buddha. Just as it was about to escape back to the Western Paradise, the Queen Mother of the West intervened and pulverized it.

In just a moment, Vairocana Buddha and the Blue Ox Venerable of Buddhism vanished completely, without even the chance to be reincarnated.

Guanyin Bodhisattva, standing to the side, couldn't help but show a gloomy expression. After all, killing two Buddhists right in front of him was something he found hard to accept.

Of course, this was only on the surface; in reality, Guanyin Bodhisattva was extremely excited at that moment.

Guanyin Bodhisattva had long been disgusted by the hypocrisy of Buddhism. If it weren't for the fact that her mission to her sect was not yet completed, she would have quit long ago.

So in the end, Guanyin Bodhisattva simply said, "When a disciple of my Buddhist sect makes a mistake, it should be dealt with by my Buddhist sect. Yet you two saints directly killed him. Isn't that a bit like the powerful bullying the weak?"

“This humble monk knows he is no match for the two saints, so this matter will be reported to the Buddha. Then the Amitabha Buddha and the Amitabha Buddha will come in person to settle this matter.”

After saying this, Guanyin Bodhisattva took her leave and returned to the Western Paradise. She immediately informed the Buddha of this joyous yet tragic news.

As soon as Guanyin Bodhisattva left, Nuwa looked directly at the Cowherd beside her and spoke with a gloomy expression.

“The Cowherd, colluding with foreign enemies, scheming against his wife, and betraying his people, is guilty of two crimes: acting as an accomplice to tyrants, willingly becoming a pawn, leading his wife and children into injustice, and putting his children in danger.”

"After the incident, he attempted to deceive and showed no responsibility whatsoever. This constitutes three crimes. It would not be an exaggeration to punish him for all three crimes, even to the point of utter destruction of his body and soul."

Upon hearing this, the Cowherd was struck dumb, collapsed to the ground, too weak to even beg for mercy, and could only wail in despair.

The Weaver Girl suddenly looked up at Nuwa, her eyes filled with extreme pain and struggle. She knew that the Cowherd's sins were unforgivable, but her two children could not be without a father.

After all, the Weaver Girl didn't believe her father and mother would let her go; her fate was sealed—she would be taken back to Heaven for trial. And if even the Cowherd was gone by then, who would his child rely on?

The Weaver Girl looked at her two children, who were clinging tightly to her side, trembling with fear and completely unaware of what was happening, and her heart ached.

Finally, he spoke directly, saying, "Holy Mother, the Cowherd has only been deceived by evil people. At least his love for me is real, so please, Holy Mother, spare his life."

Nuwa frowned at first, "The Heavenly Court has its own laws, and the human race has its own rules. If you want to exonerate the Cowherd, then you can only take the punishment on his behalf."

The Weaver Girl felt that since she was already going to die anyway, she had no regrets if she could do something for her husband and child before she died.

So she nodded without hesitation and said, "Weaver Girl is willing. As long as the Holy Mother spares her husband, even if her soul is banished to the Netherworld, Weaver Girl will have no objection."

Upon hearing this, Nuwa's anger vanished instantly, replaced by a kind smile. She then gently raised her jade-like hand and pointed it lightly at the Cowherd in the air.

A wisp of creation energy coiled around the Cowherd's body like a serpent. Without any earth-shattering sound, a profound aura suddenly rose from the Cowherd, as if some heavy shackles had been quietly unlocked. The Cowherd's eyes, which had been filled with fear and despair, were instantly replaced by a deep confusion and a gradually awakening sharpness.

A golden Dao pattern on his forehead, which had been extremely dim and almost buried by the dust of reincarnation, suddenly shone brightly like a pearl that had been brushed clean of dust.

It exudes a pure, upright, and indomitable spirit of humanity, subtly revealing itself within.

"Plant pine trees."

Fuxi gasped, his eyes flashing with disbelief. The phantom of the Hetu and Luoshu trembled violently in his palm, as if echoing the aura that had been dormant for a hundred years.

"The true spirit of the pine tree was forcibly imprisoned within its physical body, obscuring its Dao heart and distorting its true nature."

The Jade Emperor and the Queen Mother of the West instantly understood the key point.

This is hardly a simple act of bewitching; it is clearly the Buddhist sect using its great supernatural powers to forcibly imprison the true spirit of a Great Immortal of the Human Sect.

Then, the turbid energy of reincarnation is used to obscure his innate Dao heart, making him muddle-headed and turning him into a puppet that can be manipulated at will by the Green Ox.

It's even possible that a distorted obsession with the Weaver Girl was planted in his subconscious, solely to better fulfill his mission of sowing discord between the Heavenly Court and the human race.

The Weaver Girl was struck dumb, looking at the strange yet familiar scent on her husband, and at the deep concentration and painful struggle in his eyes, a result of his past actions.

She finally realized that the so-called mutual affection was, from the very beginning, a carefully crafted deception laced with Buddhist scheming.

She swayed, almost unable to stand, her heart felt as if it were being gripped tightly by an icy hand, the pain making it hard to breathe.

Nuwa's voice was icy cold, containing a rage powerful enough to freeze time and space.

"They imprisoned the true spirits of my disciples, distorted their Daoist hearts, and enslaved them, committing such despicable acts. This enmity will not be resolved until death."

Her gaze was like lightning, instantly locking onto the direction of the Western Spirit Mountain. A terrifying holy might, like an invisible giant wave, crashed down on the void.

The entire primordial world trembled slightly, and lightning flickered in the heavens, as if echoing the sage's wrath.

Grand Master Xuandu hurriedly stepped forward and said with a solemn expression, "Master, the most urgent task is to rescue the Seventh Princess. The demons of Wanku Mountain are ferocious, and delay may lead to unforeseen changes."

"As for Junior Brother Zai Song's true spirit, now that it has been awakened, the reason why his Dao heart is clouded must be related to Mount Ling. We can settle this score later."

The Jade Emperor's eyes burned with murderous intent, but the words of Grand Master Xuandu brought him to his senses. The safety of the seven women was of utmost urgency. He suddenly shook his imperial robes, his voice like a dragon's roar echoing throughout the thirty-three heavens.

"The Four Heavenly Kings, the gods of Thunder, Fire, and War, accompany me on my personal expedition to Ten Thousand Caves Mountain. We will flatten the demon cave and rescue the Seventh Princess."

"Anyone who obstructs us shall be killed without mercy. If the Buddha's light blocks our way, we shall not only kill them, but also shatter their relics, so that they shall not have any chance of rebirth."

The Jade Emperor's decree had barely been issued when dark clouds shrouded the entire sky. The cries of "Your Majesty, I receive the decree!" echoed throughout the heavens. (End of Chapter)
