Chapter 26 Broken Window
Senior Sister Fan's arrangement was also to protect everyone, and the people from Wanfa Sect and Qingcheng Sect had no objections.

The troublemaker from the Huaixin faction was about to jump out again, but Geng Chengcai glared at him and he became silent.

Seeing that everyone agreed to Sister Fan's instructions to take turns guarding the scene, she asked the name of the girl from the Huaixin Sect.

"My name is Ge Cang." Ge Cang's voice was still trembling. Senior Sister Fan touched her head and told Geng Chengcai, "Take good care of her."

Geng Chengcai knew what was important and naturally agreed to what Senior Sister Fan said.

Wei Xi and Qin Feng were both unlucky. They were delivering something, but not only did the recipient die, but they were also accused of being the murderer.

However, it is not advisable to stay here for a long time. Looking at the hesitant expressions of Qian Liangfeng and others, Qin Feng felt annoyed and pulled Wei Xi out for a walk.

"I hope that Ge Cang won't cause trouble for no reason." Qin Feng took two bags of dried fruit snacks, handed one to Wei Xi, and strolled along the street. "If she says we beat her up, there will be another argument today."

"So sour!" Wei Xi's teeth almost fell apart after taking a bite. Lingyin puffed out her furry chest, thinking about the preserved fruit in her hand. "We can't let her faint. That would be indescribable."

"The Huaixin faction is still the same," Qin Feng said sarcastically, "Luckily I ran into her."

Wei Xi pretended to know nothing. She was not a person with a strong sense of justice.

"You saw it too. Ge Cang's hands are covered in frostbite, and his clothes are too thin."

"What does it have to do with you and me?" Wei Xi asked back. Qin Feng waved his hands twice in annoyance.

"It just reminds me of when I was in the Huaixin Sect. When I first joined, everyone was the center of attention. But as time went on, I couldn't even draw Qi into my body, and that group of people started bullying me."

"But you resisted," Wei Xi fed a mouthful of Lingyin, "and it's good enough that you can take care of yourself."

Qin Feng sneered and pulled Wei Xi into the jewelry store. The jewelry in this store was different from the style of those in Northern Xinjiang, and the prices were staggering, but Qin Feng was not short of money.

So Wei Xi accompanied Qin Feng in picking for a long time. Wei Xi didn't understand these things, so he rested his chin on his hand and watched Qin Feng pick and choose.

"It's broken," Qin Feng suddenly said as he tried on the hair crown in front of the mirror, "One piece is missing."

Qin Feng often wore a set of flower ornaments on his head. The leftmost piece was now just black hair. Qin Feng's complete set of jewelry was basically prepared by Madam Qin when she was still alive.

When she was in Huaixin Sect, Qin Feng had no time to wear these due to mourning and her own cultivation. It was only after she arrived at Qingcheng Sect that she finally felt like wearing them. This set of seven pieces of jewelry, exactly like the Big Dipper, are of excellent quality, both in terms of craftsmanship and material.

"Did you drop it somewhere?" "Maybe, I don't have it on me."

The two of them didn't feel like wandering around anymore, so they went back the way they came and finally returned to Yuelai Inn.

After returning to the house where they lived, the two of them turned the house upside down but couldn't find the lost flower hairpin.

"Forget it," Qin Feng sighed at Wei Xi, "Let's go visit Elder Shi."

Two disciples from the Wanfa Sect were guarding the door of Elder Shi's room. The room would be sealed off until people from the Wanjian Sect and the Huaixin Sect came.

Qin Feng told them that the thing might have fallen here. The two young disciples were a little hesitant, but they could not resist Qin Feng's earnest words and agreed.

After opening the door, Wei Xi noticed the flower ornaments that had fallen on the ground. Just as he was about to go in to get them, he suddenly felt a gust of evening breeze.

But Elder Shi’s body is still here, and Senior Sister Fan can’t have left the window open.

"Something's wrong, Qin Feng"

Before Wei Xi could finish his words, he saw a figure crawling out from the bed curtains and running towards the window. It really was a person crawling out of the indigo fabric.

"What the hell!" one of the Wanfa Sect disciples guarding the gate shouted, and began to form hand gestures. Just as Wei Xi was about to retreat, Qin Feng grabbed him and rushed towards the black shadow.

"Put down my ornaments!"

Wei Xi was completely speechless. If it weren't for the fact that you were about to run away, why would you take the things on the ground?

As soon as Wei Xi entered the house, he saw that the window had been opened, and a figure jumped out quickly by stepping on the window frame.

Qin Feng naturally wanted to chase after them, but Wei Xi still had some sense and shouted loudly, "Leave one person to report the news!"

I don’t know if those two people from Wanfa Sect heard it.

Anyway, Wei Xi was dragged by Qin Feng to jump out of the window to chase the figure. Thank you again Elder Shi for living on the second floor.

Qin Feng was able to follow the figure and move around on various illegal buildings, but Wei Xi was not so lucky. She jumped directly onto the street, where fortunately there were not many people.

Wei Xi quickly used a hunting technique - which she had practiced when she was looking for Lingyin - and then she locked onto Qin Feng who was closely following the figure.

The two men staged a chase scene on the illegal building in Baoxiang City. The one in front was very agile, and the one behind was not much behind. Only Wei Xi on the street below was trying hard to swing his legs, trying not to lose him.

There were more and more people on the street. Wei Xi suddenly remembered that there was a float parade today. She cursed in her heart and thought to herself that Qin Feng, the ancestor, should quickly catch that thief.

Unexpectedly, the figure was very smart and jumped down from the illegal building. Wei Xi watched the figure disappear in the crowd that came out to see the floats.

Qin Feng was a few steps late, and facing the brightly lit and crowded main street, she couldn't find the figure.

"Follow me!" Wei Xi caught up with Qin Feng and pulled her sleeve as they ran forward. "I just recited the Finding Trick for your Huadian."

"Wei Xi, how can I live without you!" Qin Feng was overjoyed. Wei Xi didn't have time to chat with her. She hoped that next time this ancestor encountered something, he would think about the sect rules.

The two followed Wei Xi's method of finding things and turned into the fire-proof alley between the two mansions. There was no one in there and it was dark.

"The spell stops here," Wei Xi whispered. She winked at Qin Feng and said, "Give it to me."

Qin Feng took out a dagger from his Qiankun bag and handed it to Wei Xi. She then drew her sword from its sheath, and the two of them walked into the alley with their backs to each other.

The alley was quiet. Here, the moon avoided the lanterns and cast a layer of moonlight on the alley.

Wei Xi pricked up his ears and recalled the time when he and Wei Dong were catching rabbits in the mountains. They were also so focused, paying attention to every move of their prey.

But still nothing was found, the alley was empty, and the man seemed to have disappeared.

"Damn it," Qin Feng cursed as he put away his sword. "Could it be that Elder Shi is back to life?"

Wei Xi did not put away the dagger. The method of finding objects told her that Qin Feng's flower ornaments were right there, and were still moving slowly.

"Could it be that we are blinded?" Qin Feng was still venting his anger, and Wei Xi squinted his eyes.

Qin Feng was confused. Wei Xi pointed at the wall and Qin Feng looked in the direction of her finger.

It was the shadow of the courtyard wall. She was about to speak when she saw Wei Xi glaring at her. Qin Feng had no choice but to look at the shadow on the wall again.

Before Qin Feng could figure out what was going on, Wei Xi stabbed the wall with a dagger. A man came out from the wall and wanted to run, but his clothes were pierced by Wei Xi's dagger.

What a pity, Wei Xi thought as he watched Qin Feng grab the man, the dagger didn't pierce the flesh.

Any comments? I really need them!
