Chapter 27 The most poisonous woman’s heart

Chapter 27 The most poisonous woman’s heart
"No, you really are stabbing?" the man exclaimed.

"Who are you? How come you are in Elder Shi's room?" Qin Feng held the man's arm, while Wei Xi waved the dagger sinisterly. At first glance, she did not look like a good person.

"Who is Elder Shi?" When the moonlight shone on the man's face, Wei Xi and Qin Feng could see that he had a pair of amber eyes and looked a bit like a Hu person.

Qin Feng used strength in her hands. Because of her family background, she couldn't say that she liked the Hu people.

"It hurts, it hurts!" the man stretched his throat and shouted. He looked about the same age as Qin Feng, but he was not as strong as Qin Feng, who had been practicing martial arts since childhood.

"Don't tell me you don't know who Elder Shi is?" Qin Feng said with a fake smile, "Do you want these hands?"

"Immortal cultivators should not be killed indiscriminately! You are still wearing a Taoist robe!"

This man was quite perceptive, but Wei Xi also had a temper. He went up and slapped him twice. From the sound, one could tell it hurt.

"Of course, indiscriminate killing is not an option. I've given my sister enough slaps." Qin Feng's tone was cold. "Elder Shi, don't you know where my Huadian is?"

"Your flower ornaments?" The man paused and began to threaten Qin Feng, "So you're guilty of murder and are here to get your flower ornaments! Let me go immediately, or I'll call the elders in charge!"

"You" Qin Feng was about to refute when he saw Wei Xi hitting his face with a dagger. To be honest, it was a bit funny. Wei Xi was the youngest of the three and naturally the shortest. If it weren't for her stern face, you really wouldn't know that she was threatening anyone.

"You can try and see if anyone believes your nonsense."

"But you, who are neither a monk nor an official from the city," Wei Xi retracted the dagger, "appeared in Elder Shi's room and were able to hide. If I were to say, you are the biggest suspect."

"Then it won't be the indiscriminate killing of innocent people." Wei Xi knew this by heart because Master Han recited it every time he entered and left get out of class. No one understood the meaning of indiscriminate killing better than Wei Xi.

"You are so evil," the man was stunned. "Agu really didn't lie to me. Women are the most vicious."

"What are you talking about?" Qin Feng was not happy to hear this and strangled him again. "I won't waste my time talking to him anymore. Find Huadian and take him to see Senior Sister Fan."

"No! No, no!" The man knew the situation and knew that these two people were not easy to deal with. "Let's trust each other. You saw it too. I'm just an ordinary person. How could I possibly kill the Immortal Master?"

"That's not necessarily true," Qin Feng sneered, "Can an ordinary person run on the roof for that long?"

"Thanks for the compliment! I'm just trying to make a living. I'm a habitual thief."

Qin Feng cast a questioning look at Wei Xi, and Wei Xi gestured to listen to what he had to say.

Wei Xi had never seen a thief in her life, and she couldn't tell whether what the man said was true or false. However, his hiding skills made it possible for him to steal things.

Seeing that something was going to happen, the man quickly continued, "I'm a habitual thief. There are many people coming and going in the inn, so I often steal. Today I just happened to come across the room you went to. As soon as I entered, I saw a dead body. I was about to run when I heard someone talking at the door. I thought I would hide and wait and see what happened."

"I just want to watch the fun!" the man couldn't help but emphasize.

"Who are you trying to fool? With your skills, you can slip away through the window if you hear us at the door." Qin Feng pointed out the problem and looked at him warily.

"No! You don't understand me! I really want to watch the fun!"

"Let me ask you," Wei Xi interrupted the two people who were about to quarrel again, "you were able to hide for so long just now, why didn't you hide in the inn?"

“啊?”Qin 一脸疑惑。

The man was interrupted, his mind a little stuck, "That's me, let me think about it."

"At that time, I felt like something was watching me from behind, and I was so anxious that I gave myself away."

After hearing what he said, Wei Xi and Qin Feng were both confused.

However, this matter still needs to be investigated by the Wanjian Sect and the Huaixin Sect. Wei Xi silently recited the sect rules in his mind.

"Where did you put her flower ornaments?"

"In my collar," the man said a little embarrassedly, "I just stole something. It's an occupational hazard."

Qin Feng rolled her eyes, freeing one hand to search for her flower ornaments. After a few tries, she found it. She had figured out Wei Xi's intentions. Taking this thief from Hu Qin back would be uncontrollable. Elder Shi Ke's affairs were not something two young cultivators should be involved in. If it weren't for Immortal Master Han's request, she and Wei Xi would not have been involved.

Although Qin Feng scoffed at the Qingcheng Sect's rules prioritizing survival, she was taking a risky tactic for the sake of potential gain. If Shi Ke, in his dying breath, promised to pass on his spirit sword to whoever caught the murderer, Qin Feng would definitely take the thief back and swear to heaven that he would kill Elder Shi.

Unfortunately, Qin Feng let go of the thief, and the other party quickly moved away from Qin Feng and moved his arms.

He stood up straight, and Wei Xi realized that this thief was a little shorter than Qin Feng. He was probably growing taller, and his body was not very strong. He was probably only thirteen or fourteen years old.

"You should have told me you wanted Huaqian earlier. I thought you wanted to kill me and chased me for so long." He moved his arms and complained.

Wei Xi and Qin Feng didn't want to pay any attention to him and were about to leave the fire lane when they heard a loud noise.

"What's wrong!" The thief rushed to the two of them. Wei Xi and Qin Feng turned their heads back and discovered it.

There was an explosion on the main street where the float parade was taking place. Flames shot up into the sky, and the crowd was terrified. The cries and screams could be heard from far away.

"With this scale, could it be a monk?" The thief looked at Wei Xi in shock. After all, the little girl looked sinister, very much like someone who would set fire in the street.

"Don't talk nonsense," Qin Feng interrupted, "There is gunpowder in the barracks, which can achieve the same effect."

Wei Xi didn't know what gunpowder was, but Qin Feng was knowledgeable and his words were certainly not groundless.

"If something happens, Senior Sister Fan will be worried. Let's go back together," Wei Xi said to Qin Feng, who nodded.

"Hey, hey, hey," the thief hurriedly called out to Wei Xi, "Can you take me out? I guess they'll be setting up defenses soon!"

"No," Wei Xi refused, "If you can hide for so long, you can definitely bypass the defense."

The man scratched the back of his head and gave an awkward smile, "I've used it all up today and now I can't hide it."

Qin Feng certainly didn't want to bother with him anymore, so he took Wei Xi to the inn. The thief followed them relentlessly.

The people on the street had different expressions, but they were all in a hurry. Some were crying, some were injured, and some were carrying buckets and basins to put out the fire.

But the sharp-eyed Wei Xi saw that some soldiers were arresting people from the Ju State. Although they were both wearing Taoist robes, they both looked like people from the Ju State. In order to avoid trouble, Wei Xi and Qin Feng turned into the alley at the same time.

"It looks like they're arresting people from Ju," Qin Feng said in a low voice. "I heard from my parents that Baoxiang City has always been playing fence-sitter between Boluo and Ju. I wonder if they're not taking this opportunity to stir up trouble."

Wei Xi glanced at the thief who had followed them into the alley and quickly said to Qin Feng, "I bought two sets of clothes yesterday and changed into them to sneak back to the inn."

Hearing this, Qin Feng reached for his Qiankun bag, but couldn't find anything.

"Are you looking for this?" The thief smiled proudly while holding Qin Feng's Qiankun bag.

"You can't open it. The Qiankun bag recognizes its owner." Qin Feng pulled the sword out of the scabbard and prepared to chop down the barbarian thief.

"Do you know what a habitual thief is?" The thief said smugly, "I'll take something out and you'll know."

After saying that, Wei Xi and Qin Feng watched helplessly as the thief put his hand on the Qiankun bag, and then his hand disappeared.

Before they could react, the thief took out a box from his bag.

"Well? Now if you want your stuff back, take me past the defense!"

Hearing the footsteps outside the alley, Qin Feng gritted his teeth and rushed forward. The two men were fighting with each other. Wei Xi knew that now was not the time to fight, so he rushed in to stop them.

Unexpectedly, a bad thing happened. With a click, the box that Master Han had instructed not to open was opened.

Comments, I want to comment, crying cat head.
