Chapter 31 A Busy New Semester
Weiss immediately reached out, eager to take the Egyptian Book of the Dead from Dumbledore's hand. Just as his fingers were about to touch the book, Dumbledore turned his wrist and quickly took the book back.

That reaction speed doesn't seem like that of a man over 100 years old.

Weiss withdrew his outstretched hand in a daze and looked at Dumbledore with some embarrassment.

Dumbledore did not respond to Weiss's gaze, but turned to the bookshelf and took down a few books from it. They were:
History of Egyptian Magic

Introduction to Ancient Egyptian

Egyptian Mythology

"Egypt###".

"Principal, what do you mean?"

Weiss looked at the books on the desk and found that they were completely different from the Egyptian Book of the Dead. He thought that Dumbledore was going to go back on his word.

"Do you speak ancient Egyptian, Weiss?" Dumbledore looked at Weiss with a smile and asked slowly.

Wes shook his head. He had never been exposed to knowledge about ancient Egypt and knew nothing about the ancient Egyptian language.

"Do you know Egyptian mythology?" Dumbledore continued to ask when he saw that Weiss seemed to know nothing.

Faced with Dumbledore's two consecutive questions, Weiss suddenly realized.

Dumbledore caught Weiss's expression and knew that he had understood his intention. He told Weiss: "If you want to understand the Egyptian Book of the Dead, you must first understand ancient Egyptian and Egyptian mythology."

Weiss nodded in agreement and put away the books on the table. He was impatient at the moment and wanted to finish reading all the books in one go and learn Ancient Egyptian as soon as possible.

But the reality was much more difficult than he had imagined. Ancient Egyptian was obscure and difficult to understand. He spent several days but still couldn't even get started.

As for Voldemort's diary, Weiss has no time to care about it at the moment.

He believed that the diary was the earliest Horcrux made by Voldemort. After all, he was just a student at that time and probably did not have any advanced magical knowledge.

The most valuable ones are Slytherin's Chamber of Secrets and the Basilisk, but how can these compare to the Egyptian Book of the Dead?

Wes's busy schedule continued until the afternoon of the first Friday of the new semester, which was also his first class.

When he arrived at the classroom door and reached out to hold the door handle, he was still thinking about those ancient Egyptian books.

However, as soon as he opened the classroom door, he was stunned by the scene before him: "Wow! Oh, did I walk into the wrong classroom?"

The number of students in the classroom is almost twice as many as last year, and the whole classroom seems particularly lively and even a little crowded.

Wes saw Harry, Ron, Malfoy, the Weasley twins, and some other unfamiliar faces.

Everyone has their own reasons for choosing this course, and they gather in this classroom with different expectations and purposes.

Harry, Ron and Hermione, who took this course in their first year, made up the trio.

The reason why Harry chose this course was simple. Last year in the Forbidden Forest, he saw the battle between Wes and the mysterious man. Wes's powerful strength opened his eyes and also made Harry curious about Wes.

He longed to learn some powerful magical knowledge from this course.

As for Ron, it was because both of his friends had chosen this course, and he felt that if he didn't take this course, he would feel abandoned. He didn't want to leave his good friends, so he chose this course.

Like Harry, Malfoy was full of curiosity about Wes, and his father also assigned him a task, which was to investigate whether there was anything strange happening around Wes.

The Weasley twin brothers were very interested in alchemy and chose this course on the recommendation of Professor McGonagall.

Most of the other students took this course for credits and because they heard that the course had very little homework.

[Anyway, whether you're herding one sheep or letting a flock of sheep go, you'll still have to let them go.]

Wes was fine with that.

After the first class, Wes did not assign any homework, but only asked the students who chose this course this year to borrow the notes of their old classmates.

The students were delighted and thought it was fantastic to have a course without homework.

Only Hermione was sullen, insisting that Weiss was giving too little homework.

As Wes was about to leave the classroom, the twin brothers approached him.

"Professor Irwin~" Fred said, a bright smile on his face. "Professor McGonagall said you are good at alchemy." George interrupted.

"We have a lot of questions," Fred added, his tone filled with urgency.

"Can I ask you something?" George added, his face full of sincerity.

The twin brothers have such a tacit understanding that it seems as if they are talking as one person.

"Weasley brothers?" Wes looked at the twins, but couldn't tell who was who.

They look so much alike that it's hard to tell them apart.

"I'm Fred," the one on the left said, a mischievous smile on his face.

"I'm George," the one on the right responded.

"Okay." Weiss finally managed to tell the twins apart. "Can I see your report cards?"

"Give."

The two said in unison.

Seeing the two report cards in front of him, Wes knew that the two brothers had been prepared.

Weiss took a look at the report cards and discovered that the brothers' grades were extremely biased. They received Ps (Failures) in several subjects like Divination and History of Magic, but received Os (Excellents) in practical courses like Transfiguration and Charms.

It can be seen from the results that Fred and George are very talented, otherwise they would not have received so many Os.

"You guys are quite good at this subject."

Weiss frowned slightly, feeling a little worried about their severely unbalanced grades.

"We're not nerds."

"I don't want to be a prefect either."

“We just want to focus on the subjects that interest us.”

The twin brothers said in unison.

Weiss felt a headache. Twins were the most difficult students to deal with.

They have their own ideas and are very proactive. You never know when they might come up with a big news that will surprise you.

However, they were recommended by Professor McGonagall, and Weiss received a lot of care from Professor McGonagall during his student days.

Wes didn't want to hurt the feelings of the vice principal who cared so much about his students.

"Okay," Weiss said, "I'm available every Wednesday night. If you have any questions, you can come to my office."

The twin brothers happily high-fived each other in celebration.

"Great."

"Thank you, Professor."

The two brothers ran out of the classroom excitedly. From then on, the twin brothers would ask Wes questions about alchemy every Wednesday.

Wes also discovered that the twin brothers had extraordinary talent in alchemy, and some of their wonderful ideas always gave Wes some inspiration.

Weiss also taught the two brothers alchemy with all his heart, which was completely beyond the scope of ordinary teachers and students.

The students at Hogwarts discovered that the most mischievous twins had actually become diligent and studious, and they could often be seen looking up something in the library.

When asked, they didn't answer, but just said that it would definitely surprise everyone.

Percy Weasley was very pleased with the changes in his two brothers and believed that they had changed under the influence of his excellent brother.

Ron scoffed, thinking the twins must be plotting something big.

However, until Halloween, the two brothers did not make any noise.
