Chapter 33 A Plan Comes to Mind

"You three should hurry back to the dormitory and don't let Mrs. Norris catch you again."

Wes urged Harry, Ron, and Hermione to go back.

"Thank you, Professor."

Hermione thanked him quickly, then hurriedly pulled her two companions and ran away.

Harry and Ron also hurriedly thanked her, with a little panic on their faces, and followed Hermione closely.

The three of them jogged towards the Gryffindor common room.

"Young is good."

Weiss watched them leave, thinking back to his school days. Back then, he was a well-known good student who spent almost all his time in the library. Not to mention breaking school rules, he didn't even have many friends.

Weiss has no regrets about his choice. He knows that the road he is going to take is destined to be lonely. In the pursuit of magic and a longer life, he chooses to move forward alone.

Perhaps in the future, he will meet people in the same industry and share their discoveries and insights.
-
The students gradually discovered that Filch seemed to be at odds with Harry, Ron, and Hermione.

Wherever the trio went, Filch followed closely behind them.

Even during class, Filch would stand guard outside the classroom door, never leaving.

His gloomy figure was like a shadow, covering the trio and preventing Harry and the others from studying with peace of mind.

However, the three of them have been very well behaved recently and have not violated any school rules.

This made Filch very disappointed, but he was patient enough and he firmly believed that he would catch them sooner or later.

Hermione couldn't stand being watched all day long; she felt like she was suffocating.

So she found Professor McGonagall and told her about what had happened to her during this period.

When Professor McGonagall learned about this, she severely reprimanded Filch for his behavior. Although Filch was unwilling to do so, he did not dare to disobey Professor McGonagall's orders and let the three people go for the time being.

However, when he was crossing paths with Harry and the other three, he whispered:
"Don't get complacent. There are still five years left. I can keep playing this game."

The way he spoke was so sinister and terrifying that Ron's face turned pale for a moment.

Hermione was so angry that she rushed over and tried to argue with Filch, but Harry quickly grabbed her arm.

"How could he do this? Guys like this should be fired!"

Good student Hermione was enraged. She could not tolerate Filch's unreasonable behavior and felt that he seriously affected the students' normal life and study.

"We can ask Professor Erwin. Mrs. Norris is very close to him. He might know something."

Harry suggested.

"Good idea." Hermione and Ron nodded in agreement.

The three of them rushed to the seventh floor and came to the door of Professor Weiss's office.

Hermione knocked gently on the door, and the crisp knock echoed in the corridor.

"Boom~"

"Dong~dong"

"Please come in."

After getting Weiss's permission, the three of them walked into the office one after another.

They saw Erwin holding a quill and writing something seriously in a notebook.

Harry's eyes were drawn to the book, and the scar on his forehead suddenly hurt. The pain spread throughout his body like an electric current, causing him to scream.

"Ah!" Harry covered his forehead with his hands, a painful expression on his face.

"Harry??" Ron and Hermione were startled. They quickly supported Harry to prevent him from falling.

[Can Horcruxes affect each other? Or is it just that Harry is so special?] Seeing this, Weiss quickly put the diary back into the box and locked it. Miraculously, Harry's headache disappeared.

"I'm fine." Harry reassured his two friends, his voice a little weak. "Maybe Filch has been watching me too closely lately, and I'm too nervous."

Ron foolishly believed it because he had a nightmare about being chased by Filch last night and hadn't slept well the whole night. His head was buzzing and he felt very uncomfortable.

Hermione didn't believe him, she felt that things were not that simple.

She grabbed Harry and took him to the school doctor for a check-up, but Harry repeatedly said that there was nothing wrong with him.

Hermione had no choice but to ask Professor Weiss to help check.

Weiss briefly examined Harry and said, "No problem, it's probably just an intermittent headache caused by lack of sleep."

"It's all Filch's fault. I haven't had a good night's sleep in the past few days. I have nightmares every night." Ron's face was full of disgust. His dissatisfaction with Filch had reached its peak.

"Professor, do you know why Filch is so against students?"

Hermione asked distressedly, "He's making it impossible for me to concentrate on my studies."

Harry and Ron looked at each other and said they couldn't understand the world of the academic master.

"Mr. Filch." Weiss actually didn't have much dislike for Filch. He recalled his student days.

At that time, he was an excellent student, and Dean Flitwick protected him very much and gave him many privileges, so Filch never dared to cause trouble for him.

Weiss knew Filch was a Squib. His parents were both wizards, but Filch hadn't awakened his magical powers. Being born into a wizarding family but unable to perform magic was a despairing thing.

Many wizarding families regard Squibs as a disgrace to the family, and some even expel them from the family and refuse to acknowledge their identities.

In short, it is difficult for a Squib to survive in the wizarding world. Therefore, Filch's childhood experience can be described as miserable.

In comparison, Harry's situation at his aunt's house was not even one-tenth of Filch's.

It was precisely because of this that Filch's twisted personality was directly created, and it was not until he was taken in by Dumbledore and became the caretaker of Hogwarts that his personality gradually became apparent.

But Wes would not tell Harry and the other two about these things, not because he was afraid of Filch, but because he had no interest in revealing other people's privacy.

He only told the three of them that with Professor McGonagall's warning, Filch would behave himself for a while.

If Filch continues to target the three of them, parents can write a letter of complaint and Headmaster Dumbledore will take action.

The three of them didn't get the answers they wanted, and they said goodbye to Weiss politely, somewhat disappointed. Before leaving, Harry looked at the desk drawer where Weiss kept his diary and asked tentatively:

"Professor, is that notebook important?"

"It's just an ordinary diary, why do you want it?" Wes pretended to open the drawer.

Harry waved his hand: "You misunderstood, that's not what I meant..."

"I'm just kidding. Your friends have all left, why don't you go catch up with them?" Professor Weiss said with a smile.

"Goodbye, Professor."

Harry closed the office door and trotted over to catch up with Hermione and Ron.

After the three of them left, Weiss reopened the drawer, took out the diary, and muttered to himself, "Senior Tom, how disappointing! The magic you master is very valuable to ordinary students, but it has no effect on me."

The diary actually began to shake and automatically opened a page with the words: "What do you want to do?"

Weiss didn't bother to answer. He just looked at the diary quietly and began to think in his mind.

"Snapped!"

He slammed the diary shut, put it in his coat pocket and walked out of the office.
