Chapter 37 Wes's Plan

Lucius' fingers trembled slightly on the edge of the teacup. He put the teacup down tremblingly. The delicate teacup and saucer collided gently, making a slight sound.

His eyes slowly closed, his heart throbbing uncomfortably beneath his eyelids, and he was trying hard to suppress the turmoil in his heart.

"What on earth do you want to do?" Tom didn't even look at Lucius. His eyes were fixed on Dumbledore and Weiss.

"Why are you so impatient, Senior? I just want to ask you some questions." Weiss said calmly.

Tom's face was gloomy and his eyes were like knives, fixed on Wes.

"It seems that Senior is not willing to cooperate, but I have another solution."

Wes drew his wand and whispered the spell: "Aphrodisiac!" An Imperius Curse hit Tom accurately.

Seeing Weiss use the Imperius Curse, Dumbledore just raised his eyebrows and didn't say much.

But Lucius subconsciously distanced himself from Weiss.

Tom struggled to resist the erosion of the Imperius Curse, but he was just one of the fragments of Voldemort's soul, how could he withstand Weiss's curse.

Soon, Tom's will was quickly broken.

"Tell me, how are you going to clean Hogwarts."

Driven by the Imperius Curse, Tom revealed his plan without reservation - to eliminate non-pure-blood students by controlling the students to open the Chamber of Secrets and release the Basilisk.

He also confessed how he used a basilisk to kill a girl many years ago and put the blame on Hagrid.

After learning the truth, Wes closed the diary and the image of Tom disappeared.

Dumbledore wiped his glasses and pondered, "I didn't expect the legend to be true. Slytherin really left behind a Chamber of Secrets, and Tom found it."

"The key is the basilisk. This dangerous creature has been lurking in Hogwarts for nearly a thousand years. If it hadn't been trapped in the Chamber of Secrets, I'm afraid..."

Thinking of the scene of the basilisk wreaking havoc in the school and killing students, Dumbledore became murderous and took a book from the bookshelf.

Lucius was stunned listening to this. He originally thought that they were going to deal with goblins, not basilisks.

Wes invited Lucius to go with him, but Lucius shook his head and refused.

He didn't want to risk his life against the basilisk.

"You don't need to do anything, you just need to be a quiet spectator."

"Seeing our strength with your own eyes will make you feel more at ease, right?" Weiss continued to persuade.
