Chapter 391 Captive
"What does this have to do with what you did?"

Steve frowned, his eyes revealing a hint of vigilance and doubt. He felt that he had been led astray by Wes. He originally came to question Wes about the reasons for his cruel behavior, but now he was involved in a cosmic crisis that concerned the survival of the entire earth.

This made him feel that something was wrong. He always felt that Wes seemed to have a deeper purpose, but they just couldn't see through it yet.

"It's nothing, I just wanted to tell you the news."

Weiss still had a calm expression on his face, and his unperturbed look made it difficult to guess his true thoughts, as if he was really just a simple messenger.

But Tony and Steve knew very well that things could not be that simple. The man in front of them was hiding too many secrets, and they had no way of judging the truth of his words.

Tony and Steve looked at each other, seeing confusion and doubt in each other's eyes. They didn't know what Wes meant.

At this moment, a thought suddenly flashed through Tony's mind. Now that he was so close to Wes, and it seemed that Wes was the only one around, this might be a rare opportunity.

Thinking of this, Tony quietly stepped on his shoes, triggering the mechanism hidden in the soles of his shoes.

In an instant, countless nanorobots surged out like a tide. They moved and combined quickly in the air, covering Tony's entire body in the blink of an eye, forming a suit of armor emitting a metallic luster. The energy patterns on the armor flashed with a faint blue light, accumulating powerful power.

"Full power output!"

Tony silently gave orders in his mind, and the next moment, a dazzling beam of light gathered at the palm of the armor and shot straight towards Wes. It was so fast that it seemed to destroy everything in front of it in an instant.

However, Wes simply opened one hand calmly, and that seemingly casual action had a magical effect.

The moment the powerful beam of light approached Weiss, it seemed to be pulled by an invisible force and slowly gathered in his hand. Finally, it turned into a small ball of energy, quietly floating above his palm.

Tony's full-strength attack didn't even create a splash and was easily resolved. This scene made Tony and Steve open their eyes wide, their hearts filled with shock and disbelief.

"Tony, the materials on Earth restrict you. Even in the entire universe, you are an extremely intelligent person."

Wes looked at Tony, with a hint of admiration in his eyes. He really recognized Tony's wisdom, and he also understood that with Tony's ability, if placed in a wider universe, he would surely shine more brightly. However, Tony was currently trapped in the limitations of Earth's materials and had not yet touched upon higher levels of science and technology.

Wes had no intention of killing Tony and Steve. In his plan, the two would play a big role later, so he just waved his hand lightly, and a gentle but irresistible force stripped off the armor on Tony's body. The nanorobots scattered all over the ground, losing their original form.

Then, the door of the room slowly opened, Weiss made a gesture of invitation, and said in a calm tone: "You can walk around at will."

Tony and Steve looked at each other. They had no idea what Wes was up to and were filled with confusion and anxiety.

“We haven’t spoken yet.”

Steve was about to say something, but Wes was too lazy to listen to them. He just waved his hand and a powerful force hit him. The two of them had no time to resist and flew backwards, flying straight out the door.

Then, the door slammed shut, isolating them from the outside. "What should we do now?"

Steve stood up, dusted himself off, and looked at Tony blankly. He was completely at a loss at the moment.

Just when they were at a loss, the Seraph Hawkeye came over. There was still no expression on his face. He just ordered rudely: "Follow us, the doctor wants to see you."

Tony and Steve looked at each other, and an idea suddenly came to their minds. Tony whispered, "Follow them and get some information."

Steve nodded slightly, and the two of them followed Seraph Hawkeye silently and left the Mage Tower.

Along the way, they passed by the Black Dwarf tribe. They saw those tall, dark-skinned Black Dwarfs busy in the tribe. Some of them were forging weapons of strange shapes. The sparks flying around the scene were full of primitive and rough atmosphere.
Some of them sat together, seemingly discussing something. The low voices of conversation could be heard faintly, giving people a sense of mystery and danger.

Tony was very interested in them, with curiosity shining in his eyes. He had never seen such a strange alien race before, and his mind was already thinking about their living habits, fighting methods and other information. However, he also knew that now was not the time to get to know them in depth, so he could only suppress his curiosity temporarily and continue to follow Seraph Hawkeye.

After walking west and passing through a lush forest, the scene before them suddenly shocked Tony and Steve.

What appeared before their eyes was a futuristic city built by Vegapunk. The spectacular scene seemed to have come out of a science fiction movie.

In the city, various high-tech instruments appeared one after another, and a huge energy shield flickered above the city, covering the entire city and playing a protective role;

On the streets, intelligent robots shuttled around in an orderly manner, some doing cleaning work, while others were transporting various supplies. Their actions were efficient and precise, without the slightest error.
In the air, uniquely shaped aircraft streaked across the sky, leaving behind brilliant streaks of light and shadow. They were the means of transportation for city residents, and their speed was so fast that it was dazzling.

Pacifists patrol every corner of the city. Their tall metal bodies exude a cold aura, and the red light in their eyes vigilantly scans the surroundings at all times. Once they find any abnormal situation, they can react immediately.

In the center of the city is Vegapunk's research institute, a towering building with a streamlined appearance and a unique metallic luster on the surface.

Compared with the wild tribes we passed by before, this place is simply two completely different worlds, forming a sharp contrast, which makes people sigh at the huge difference.

"This is definitely not Earth. There is no such place on Earth."

Tony said this in a decisive tone, his eyes full of wonder and curiosity. While observing everything around him, he quickly analyzed the technological principles used in this city in his mind, trying to find some that he could use for himself.

"Yes, this is the world created by adults." Seraph Hawkeye introduced it briefly, with a hint of admiration for Weiss in his tone.

For these Seraphim, Weiss is their god, omnipotent. Creating such a magical world does not seem to be something difficult to understand in their eyes.

"Creating the world??" Steve's eyes widened in disbelief. "That's something only God can do."
