Chapter 66 Hibernation
After Dumbledore finished speaking, he waved his wand, a flash of light passed through the air, and an iron chain appeared out of thin air, binding Peter Pettigrew tightly. Mysterious runes were flashing on the chain.

Then Dumbledore pointed to an old cabinet in the corner of the room. The cabinet slowly opened under the effect of magic, and Peter Pettigrew, who was tied up tightly, was stuffed into the cabinet.

"This is the cabinet left by the previous headmaster before him," Dumbledore explained. "It was used to punish naughty students. Once locked in there, there's no way you can escape."

Dumbledore's assurance put everyone present at ease. With his magic, as long as Peter Pettigrew was locked in this cabinet, he would not be able to escape.

"I will contact Fudge immediately to explain the situation, but as you all know, the efficiency of the Ministry of Magic..."

The Ministry of Magic's bureaucracy and inefficiency are well known, and not even Dumbledore can change that.

"Then what about Black during this time? He can't stay in your office all the time, right?" Lupin asked with concern. He knew that his good friend Sirius couldn't stay here all the time, otherwise it would cause unnecessary trouble.

He hoped to find a safer place where Sirius could hide temporarily until everything was properly arranged.

Dumbledore's gaze moved among the crowd, finally stopping at Weiss, a meaningful glint in his eyes. "I have an idea."

Weiss's brows furrowed slightly, and a feeling of unease involuntarily welled up in his heart.

[What evil plan does this old man have again?]
-
Afterwards, the two people, the cat and the dog left the principal's office together.

"What's going on? Why not say you adopted a pet?" Wes was not happy with the plan, but he had no better choice at the moment.

Lupin answered seriously: "Everyone knows that I am a poor guy. How could I afford such a big dog?" Although his expression was serious, there was a hint of light-hearted ridicule in his words.

He gently patted the head of the big dog that Sirius had transformed into and said with a smile, "Black Tiger, just stay with your master."

Sirius was obviously not satisfied with the name. He pushed Lupin's hand away and snorted in dissatisfaction, protesting against this unfashionable name with practical actions.

"Ha~ha~" Lupin laughed and waved goodbye to Weiss and the others: "I still have a class to go to, so I won't disturb you." After that, he turned and left, leaving behind Weiss with a helpless look on his face and Sirius who had turned into a big dog.

The man and the dog stared at each other, the atmosphere becoming somewhat awkward. Weiss sighed helplessly, "Who made me covet the Black family's wealth of knowledge?"

As he spoke, he led "Black Tiger" and Crookshanks beside him and walked along the corridor of Hogwarts. This strange combination immediately attracted the attention of the surrounding students.

At this moment, Hermione ran over, panting and looking a little anxious. "Crookshanks!" she shouted, "Where have you been? I've been looking for you for a long time."

Crookshanks heard Hermione's voice and jumped into her arms. Hermione almost didn't catch him.

The chubby ginger cat kept rubbing against Hermione, meowing softly, as if apologizing or acting coquettishly, which made Hermione giggle.

Suddenly, Ron ran over angrily and yelled, "Stupid cat! What did you do to Scabbers?!"

Crookshanks seemed to understand what Ron said and raised his head arrogantly, looking as if he was disdainful to pay any attention to him.

This made Ron even angrier, and his little face turned red with anger.

Hermione didn't want to argue with Ron anymore, so she hugged Crookshanks and prepared to leave.

Ron, however, refused to give in and followed them closely, scolding Crookshanks and demanding that he hand over Scabbers.

This scene caused a burst of laughter from the surrounding students, while Weiss and Sirius were completely ignored and became the background.

Weiss shrugged, "Your good friend has gone home." He was referring to the scene where Crookshanks followed Hermione away just now.

Sirius rolled his eyes at him. "Professor, Professor Irwin," Harry Potter ran over, panting. "Excuse me, have you seen Hermione and Ron? I..."

Before Harry could finish his words, he was thrown to the ground by a big black dog, which kept rubbing its head against him.

When Harry saw that it was a huge black dog that knocked him down, he crawled backwards in fear.

Sirius saw Harry's reaction and whimpered in grievance, feeling sad that he was misunderstood.

Weiss quickly stepped forward and helped Harry up: "Are you afraid of dogs?"

Harry shook his head, but still kept a certain distance, not daring to get close to Sirius.

"Professor Trelawney made a prophecy in the divination class, saying that the black dog would bring me bad luck and even death."

Hearing this, Sirius barked twice in dissatisfaction, expressing his dissatisfaction with Professor Trelawney, and even had the urge to bite her.

"Professor Trelawney?"

Weiss nodded. He knew that Professor Trelawney was a wizard with the blood of a prophet, but most of her predictions were considered nonsense. "Don't take it to heart," Weiss comforted Harry. "Black Tiger is very well behaved."

"Black Tiger??"

"It's this black dog." Weiss patted Sirius' head gently.

Sirius circled around Harry, his tail wagging like a propeller, hoping to get Harry's attention.

Harry carefully reached out his hand and gently touched Sirius's head. Feeling Harry's palm, Sirius grinned, revealing a row of white teeth.

Harry gradually relaxed and even took a snack out of his pocket and fed it to Sirius.

"Oh no! I still have to find Hermione and Ron. I hope they don't start fighting..."

Weiss pointed out the direction Hermione and Ron left. Harry thanked them quickly and left in a hurry. Sirius could only watch Harry's back as he left.

"Don't be anxious, there's still a long way to go, right?" Wes said softly.
-
In just one day, the news that Wes had adopted a big black dog spread throughout Hogwarts like wings.

The students talked a lot about this. After all, in everyone's impression, Professor Irwin did not seem to be a particularly caring person. Usually, he gave people the impression of being more rigorous and focused on academic research.

However, it was just a dog. In this campus full of magic and fantasy, the appearance of a dog did not seem to be something particularly worth making a fuss about, and no one thought too much about it.

The students quickly accepted the new member, although they occasionally discussed the dog's origins and his relationship to Professor Weiss.

Strangely, the big dog named "Black Tiger" is not close to Professor Irwin, and it seems to maintain a distant attitude towards Wes.

On the contrary, it particularly likes to stick to Harry Potter, always wagging its tail happily and following Harry closely, as if Harry is its whole world.

Even when Harry was in class, Black Tiger would quietly wait outside the classroom for Harry to finish class.

At first, Harry was not used to having a big dog around. He felt a little uncomfortable with the huge figure following him wherever he went.

However, he soon discovered that the big dog was very smart and could understand everything he said.
