Chapter 31 Yin Tianzi

Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva continued, "As for the matter of Fighting Victory Buddha's soul being taken away, it was originally a confusing matter. From what we can see today, it seems that there was an error in the record of the Book of Life and Death, not human alteration."

Upon hearing this, Sun Wukong snorted coldly, "A muddled account? Of course? I didn't expect Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva to be such a master at playing dumb! If that's the case, don't blame me for being ruthless!"

Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva's expression became serious, thinking that the monkey was going to attack him.

Unexpectedly, the Monkey King continued, “I have heard that there is a real book of life and death in the underworld, called the Book of Humanity. It is a treasure that controls the reincarnation of all souls and cannot be altered by humans.

Just take a look at the record about Lao Sun in the human book and compare the two to know whether Lao Sun's underworld life and death book has been altered! "

Hearing this, Ksitigarbha's expression changed slightly, and he looked at the Ten Kings of Hell with a stern gaze.

He understood that someone had leaked the secret of the Book of Life and Death, but he couldn't be sure who it was based on just one sentence from Sun Wukong.

The Ten Kings of Hell also looked at each other at this moment, all feeling uneasy.

Only King Yama sneered in his heart. He knew that the one who was really uneasy was King Qin Guang, the King of Hell who issued the soul-snatching order.

At this time, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva said in a deep voice: "The Book of Humanity has long been sealed. Only the Lord of the Underworld can view it. This is a rule jointly established by all parties in the Three Realms!"

"Hehe, rules?" Sun Wukong sneered, and a terrifying aura began to rise.

"Buddha, have mercy on me." Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva radiated golden light and said with a dignified expression, "Does the Fighting Buddha intend to disregard the order and balance of the underworld and cause trouble in the underworld again?"

"You hypocritical and compassionate person, look carefully, I am the Buddha!" Sun Wukong raised his hand and grabbed, and a brand new cassock was draped over his body.

The Buddha's light is shining and dazzling.

When Ksitigarbha saw this, his expression suddenly changed and he even had a headache.

After all, this is not the same monkey as before.

It’s not easy!
If a fight really breaks out, it will be a big problem!
"Stop talking about compassion, good and evil, and rules. Everything is just about profit," Sun Wukong said in a deep voice. "I only have one question: will you show me?"

"Fighting Buddha, please go back!" Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva still refused to give in.

"Hehe!" The divine light in Sun Wukong's eyes was like an arrow.

When the Ten Kings of Hell saw this tense scene, they were all panicked, but none of them dared to leave.

Among them, King Yama was confused and anxious. The people he sent should have arrived at Fengdu Mountain long ago, so why hadn't the Emperor of Fengdu shown up yet?
At this moment, nine bone dragons appeared in the dark void in the distance, pulling a chariot behind them and crossing the void.

There were ghost soldiers leading the way in front of the chariot, and with the surging tragic fog and gloomy energy, it arrived in front of the Senluo Palace in a mighty procession, with thousands of ghosts kneeling and worshipping.

When the Ten Kings of Hell saw this, their faces changed.

Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva frowned slightly but said nothing.

Sun Wukong was a little surprised. He didn't expect that the King of Fengdu would be so grand.

Soon, a handsome young man wearing a blood-red imperial robe came down from the carriage.

His gaze first fell on the Ten Kings of Hell, and he said in a cold voice, "It seems you have all forgotten that there is an emperor in the underworld! I, the Emperor of Hell, am not dead yet!"

Hearing this, the Ten Kings of Hell looked at each other, then looked at Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, and then they knelt on the ground one by one and saluted respectfully: "We pay our respects to the Great Emperor of Fengdu!"

Except for King Yama, no one expected that the King of Fengdu would come at this time.

Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva did not expect this, after all, the King of Fengdu had not appeared for nearly a thousand years.

At this time, Fengdu Emperor looked at Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva again and said indifferently: "The Netherworld Master doesn't recognize me either?"

Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva smiled and raised his hand, saying, "This humble monk greets the Emperor Yin."

Finally, the King of Fengdu set his eyes on Sun Wukong.

In this short while, Sun Wukong had already noticed something was amiss between the two rulers of the underworld. However, this wasn't the main point of his attention at the moment.

This was his first time meeting the King of Fengdu, and what surprised him was that the other party was someone he had never expected.

"Interesting, interesting! The Fengdu Emperor who once held the power of the underworld is actually the same person as the Ziwei Emperor in heaven!"

When he was the Great Sage Equaling Heaven in the Heavenly Palace, he also had interactions with the Emperor of Purple Star.

Meeting again at this time, of course we will not feel unfamiliar.

Seeing the Emperor of Fengdu looking at him, the Monkey King took the initiative to bow and said, "I didn't expect that Your Majesty also has an errand in the underworld."

The King of Fengdu, however, maintained a stern expression and said in a deep voice, "Sun Wukong, why are you not at Mount Lingshan being the Fighting Buddha, and why are you causing trouble in my Netherworld?"

When Sun Wukong heard this, he knew he was saying it on purpose, and immediately agreed, saying, "I want to seek justice for myself, but you, the underworld, are unreasonable."

"Don't talk nonsense. You are a Lingshan Buddha. What justice can you ask for in my underworld?"

"Old Sun suspected that his life and death book in the underworld had been altered. He wanted to check the life and death book, but Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva refused to let him see it."

"Oh? The Book of Life and Death has been altered? Do you have any evidence?"

"Old Sun is an immortal, they are seducing souls according to the script, this is the evidence!"

Seeing them singing in unison, Ksitigarbha frowned.

Only now did he realize that Sun Wukong came prepared and even invited the King of Fengdu to come out.

The Yin Emperor, the Emperor of Fengdu, is the incarnation of the Emperor of Ziwei in the underworld.

The latter's honorific title is Zhongtian Beiji Ziwei Emperor, and he is the emperor of the Four Heavenly Emperors.

It can command all the stars above, control all the laws in the middle, and govern Fengdu below.

His power and status are far higher than that of a Buddhist Bodhisattva sitting in hell.

Looking at the Monkey King who had become very indifferent, he understood that the trouble was now even bigger!

Just as he was thinking about it, the Emperor of Fengdu looked over and said to Ksitigarbha, "Master of the Netherworld, Sun Wukong was originally a Taiyi Golden Immortal from the upper realm, and now he is the Fighting and Victory Buddha of your Buddhist sect. The fact that his soul has been taken away is no small matter and should be thoroughly investigated."

Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva frowned and said, "Emperor Yin, are you sure you want to break the rules?"

The Emperor of Fengdu said majestically, "I don't understand what rules are, I only know what is fair."

Ksitigarbha was silent for a moment before he said in a deep voice, "Since Emperor Yin has decided this, I will take Fighting Buddha to see what's going on. But let me be frank: the consequences...will be at your own risk."

The Emperor of Fengdu sneered, "What consequences? I, the Yin Emperor, have long been in name only. At worst, I can just quit. If I leave, you should be happy!"

Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva sighed, "Amitabha, the Emperor Yin will understand what is true good and evil, and what is true justice in the future."

The Emperor of Fengdu only left one sentence: "I only believe what I see!"

After saying this, he turned around and returned to the chariot. The nine bone dragons roared in unison and crossed the underworld again.

Sun Wukong didn't even have the chance to say thank you, but his smart eyes turned and he figured out many things.

The King of Fengdu seemed to be helping him, but in fact he was also helping himself.

So no one owes anyone anything.

"Well, that's good too. It saves me trouble." Sun Wukong thought to himself.
