This is our Warhammer journey

Chapter 26: Old Terra tradition, meeting and splitting

26 Old Terra tradition, share half when meeting

Several people looked at each other in surprise.

I didn't expect it to be this famous 'poor guy' regiment.

Besides, shouldn’t these guys be operating outside the domain? Why did they run back to the Extreme Star Domain? Am I so lucky to run into them returning to the Empire for supplies?
"Now it's interesting."

Ramses chuckled.

He didn't know in advance that the people coming to rescue them were the Carcharhinus Regiment. After all, astrocommunication was to transmit various abstract pictures to you. Both sides played a game of I draw and you guess, just like guessing a riddle. You should be thankful if you can guess the general meaning.

The Man-eating Sharks, their exact origin is unknown, but all time travelers know that this group of people can most likely be traced back to the Terran Raven Guard who were exiled by the Primarch Clarks.

He first came into the Empire's sight in the 32k period, and has maintained a close yet distant relationship with the Empire ever since.

Although Shark is poor, he has a lot of equipment from the Great Crusade. There are three Contemptor Dreadnoughts in the third company alone. He even has old things like the Purgatory-class Cruiser and battle barges that have been passed down from the Great Crusade.

It is said that sharks are not poor. After the battle, they would like to take away even the enemy's bitter tea seeds. In order to save the limited supplies, the whole group is made up of melee tough guys. They all use mk5 heretic power armor that sacrifices performance to ensure service life and compatibility. They are also good at using chain saw axes. At first glance, if you don't know, you might think they are some chaos war gang.

In addition, as a fleet-based regiment, they have been wandering in the outer darkness for many years and have never had a stable supply of supplies. Every time they return to the imperial territory, the whole regiment is like a group of starving bandits entering a village. They find a planet to go to and collect blood taxes, and by the way, use the STC found in the outer darkness to exchange for some weapons and ammunition with the Mechanicus.

After finishing these, he went out to wander around again, and came back to replenish after a hundred or so years.

This chapter despises the current Empire, but still maintains its loyalty. It is said that they hold secret orders signed by a certain Primarch, asking them to fight against various aliens in the outer realms where the light of the Astronomican cannot reach, and to guard the security of the Empire's borders.

The High Lords also looked down on this unruly Astartes Chapter and basically ignored them, just throwing them a remote planet as their home planet and leaving them to fend for themselves.

The sharks were even more ruthless, they simply packed up all the population resources of the planet and took them away.

Due to the lack of supplies and stable personnel in overseas operations, this regiment is forced to be self-sufficient, so the style of the Man-Eating Shark has always been very "pragmatic".

Judging from the other party's recorded history of various hooligan behaviors, this meeting would probably be very interesting.

"Access."

After waiting for Arabella and Colonel Kovek to come closer, Romulus raised his hand to signal the messenger to receive the communication.

After half a month, both parties have become compatible with each other's communication methods.

"Hello, I'm Romulus, the captain of the Death Watch Kill Team."

The other party had no intention of exchanging pleasantries and spoke directly. High Gothic, which had ceased to be the mainstream language of the empire thousands of years ago, came through the communication.

"According to the rules, we will take 50% of the supplies on your ship as compensation for rescuing you."

According to the old Taira tradition, we split the money in half when we meet.

Everyone looked at each other subtly, and they finally realized the greed of these big reapers.

But it makes sense. Theoretically, they are just a group of remnants. If they collect 50%, it may not be enough to pay for the fuel for the other fleet to come.

"Whose rules?"

Romulus replied in the same language with great interest.

They don't value material things. After all, they can create them at will. Besides, there is nothing wrong with giving some supplies to the Man-Eating Shark. This regiment is not a scumbag like the malicious warriors.

But this attitude is too bad. Is this how you talk to your future financial sponsor?

The communication fell into a brief silence. With the echo of heavy metal gnawing on the ground, another cold voice was heard.

"Our rules!"

"Tiberus?" Romulus asked tentatively.

"."

The communication fell silent again.

Romulus, who successfully opened the opponent's box, had a victorious smile on his face.

"If you want it, you have to come and get it yourself."

He said so.

"You already know the rules, Lord of Shadows."

Romulus then hung up the call and gave instructions to Kovek beside him.

"Colonel Kovek, activate the tractor beams on the landing pads and place all vacant vehicles in a conspicuous area. Clear an additional area large enough to accommodate two hundred people. Order the kitchen staff to prepare food. There is no need to control inventory."

"Sir, are you preparing it for everyone?"

Kovek asked subconsciously, then realized that he had asked a stupid question.

"Of course everyone."

Romulus, of course.

Can't I have two dishes after eating one? How can I miss this little bit of rice?
"By the way, when the Space Marines from the Carcharhinus arrive, try to keep a distance from them. Leave the food supply to the automatic equipment. If any interaction is necessary, try to do it under the protection of our people."

"If anyone asks us about our identities and the history of your operation, just tell them the truth. It's not a secret."

"Understood, my lord."

After listening quietly to Romulus' instructions, Kovek went to arrange the venue affairs.

It was very easy to deal with Romulus because you didn't have to guess what he said. He would arrange every step and would not conduct any obedience tests.

Then Romulus turned around and said to Arthur, who had already put away the holy book.

"Arthur, go and deal with those things of La Er."

Why didn't they let Ramses go? Because he worked impulsively and couldn't remember how many projects he had for a moment. But Arthur, who had been staring at him, knew it clearly.

"clear."

Arthur nodded and quickly turned towards the elevator leading to the Navigator's Sanctuary.

Several of them had never concealed their actions, or rather, except for Ramses and Arthur, their identities were not something to be ashamed of, so it didn't matter if they were exposed.

Anyway, no one recognizes the paint schemes of the Thousand Sons and Dark Angels during the Legion era. What can we find out by checking the Ultramarines and Blood Angels?
Each chapter has its own secrets, so they will not deliberately explore each other's secrets.

While Romulus was still explaining various details to everyone, the elevator drove into an area that divided light and dark like a junction.

He raised his hand and unlocked the combination lock that only the four of them knew, and a chill that made their souls tremble came over him.

The subspace contaminated zone is a special area formed due to the frequent interaction between reality and the subspace. The divine power from the Supreme Heaven will involuntarily gather here, just like a heavy object being dragged and deposited deeper.

After taking a few steps in this environment, Arthur reached out and turned something like a valve.
