Durin's Diary

Chapter 49 Report

Chapter 49 Report
Tony Stark vowed he would never ride on a boat again.

The young dwarf who had been vomiting all the way with a bucket in his arms yesterday felt that he had lost all face, especially in front of such a lovely prairie elf girl.

"Tony, you don't look well, what's wrong?" Tony looked up at his friend's voice and saw Rabin Gisks, his tall elf friend, standing in the corridor.

The bad relationship between elves and dwarves is a thing of the past. In this day and age, it is not unorthodox for dwarves and elves to be friends. Besides, everyone is making a living in the human land. If the relationship between different species is not good, they will be laughed at by others.

"Don't mention it. I was on a boat for the first time yesterday and I threw up like crazy." Tony said as he noticed that Rabin was dressed rather flamboyantly today. "Rabin, you look like a peacock in the zoo dressed like that. Are there many girls in the new school year?"

"A lot, way too many. It's said there are hundreds more freshmen than usual, and even more have been rejected by Department Head Saleen." Having said this, Rabin looked around and said, "Where's your girlfriend? I don't see her."

"Blow it, don't mention it. We are still good friends."

"If I had known I would have told you this yesterday, you wouldn't have to dress like a miner."

As the old friends were talking about this, Tony and Rabin saw a little curly-haired prairie elf walking into the gate, followed by a lynx that was probably a pet.

Well, standard engineer insulated overboots, which look big, but are really comfortable to wear; thick trousers, which should be made of fireproof cloth; a white shirt with a red tie, a gray woolen vest on the outside, and a gray woolen jacket on the outside.

"A guy who looks more like a miner than you shows up," Rabin said with a smile.

Tony rolled his eyes at his friend and said, "Did you see that woolen coat he's wearing? It has a bulletproof lining, made by the prairie elves, the sharpest kind. Even the dwarf's lead bullets can't penetrate it at this distance." The dwarf then raised his glasses and found that the little curly-haired girl seemed to be the girl he met on the boat yesterday.

"I seem to know her." Tony looked at the little girl walking towards him.

"You know her. Let me be frank. She's shorter than you, but she's a grassland elf." As an elf, Rabin squatted down and looked at his old friend. "Are you serious?"

"I was bragging to her yesterday on the boat that I was fine, and then I vomited all the way here." At this point, Tony glared at his old friend fiercely: "Can't you say something nice? As if she would be attracted to you just because of your height."

"That's right, I can even hold her like my nephew." Rabin was silent for a moment.

Tony added insult to injury: "Are you talking about the nephew who turned the annual exam statue you spent seven months preparing for into rubble?"

"Don't mention it, we are still good friends." Rabin sighed.

The two old friends, showing mutual understanding, watched the little girl approach. Finally, she walked up to them. She seemed to recognize Tony and said, "It's really Mr. Stark. I didn't expect to see you here."

"Oh my World Tree, Tony, you really know this little beauty." Rabin widened his eyes. Until just now, he thought his old friend was bragging.

"Ah, it's me, you are..." Tony suddenly realized that he didn't know the name of the beautiful girl in front of him, which made him very embarrassed and depressed - he had ruined such a good opportunity yesterday.

"Dulin Ai'ershi, I just started here this year. Are you also a student here?"

"Durin?" Rabin was silent for a moment, then looked at his old friend - although he was an elf and this little beauty was also an elf, but Rabin was from the Animal Kingdom - Phylum Chordata - Subphylum Vertebrata - Class Mammalia - Subclass Eutheria - Order Primates - Family Elf - Subfamily Elf - Species Moon Elf.

The little beauty is a grassland elf.

Moon elves are generally over 1.8 meters tall, while the average height of grassland elves is 1.4 meters. They are completely different.

Moreover, the name Durin is only used by boys among the grassland elves.

So the little beauty is indeed a little beauty, but unfortunately she is a boy.

Tony was also surprised: "You are not a woman?"

"Am I?"

Durin's question made the dwarf and moon elf sit down on the steps together.

They covered their faces and remained silent about each other's stupidity.

…………

Durin put his hands in his pockets, and Kal'tsit beside him looked at the two bipedal terrifying upright apes in front of him curiously. He didn't quite understand why his master was looking at them with pity.

You are just a lynx, how can you understand human suffering.

Du Lin reached out and stroked Kel'tsit, then spoke again, "Do you know where the first-year film arts department is?"

Hearing his question, the dwarf who called himself Tony and the elf who introduced himself as Rabin raised their heads together.

"I don't know." They answered in unison.

Du Lin blinked: "How could you not know."

As if he had just heard a bad joke, he tilted his head and looked at the two people in front of him. Dwarf Tony simply took out a brochure from the small bag in his hand and flipped through it. "Found it, number seven on the left side of the first floor... It's a new department that was just established this year. You see, we really didn't know about it."

"The new film arts department? I always thought the instructors at the academy were quite satisfied looking at those thighs." Rabin grumbled as he looked at the booklet in his old friend's hand. "By the way, your name is Du Lin, right? What made you choose to study here?"

He turned his attention to Dulin.

In response, Du Lin smiled and said, "I think film should be a true art form, a new technology that records both the beauty and regrets of this land. But today's so-called great directors always point the camera at their thighs, which I don't think is appropriate."

Hearing Du Lin's answer, Rabin raised his eyebrows. He looked at Du Lin with great interest and said, "That's quite interesting. I think so too. Since you said so, what kind of story would you shoot if you were the director?"

"It's hard to describe the beauty of stardust with just words, and it's hard to describe the wonders of the future with just hands." Du Lin smiled and laughed. "I have a few little stories in my mind. After I learn how to take pictures, maybe I'll try to film them. Will you watch them then, Senior Rabin?"

"Of course, I like movies, but I don't like that kind of movies. I'm very much looking forward to the new movie you mentioned." After saying that, Rabin stretched out his hand.

Du Lin also stretched out his hand, and the next second, the big hand and the small hand were held together.
