I reforged the glory of the magic ring in Middle-earth
Chapter 36 Remarks on the launch
Chapter 36 Remarks on the launch
I have to admit I have a pig nose, I thought November had 11 days and I thought it would be on the shelves tomorrow (covering my face).
I just finished typing and saw that today is already the 1st (dang).
I confused Monday with the first day of the month.
I won’t say anymore, I will definitely update more today.
As for this book, I see that many readers don’t read it because the protagonist is not a player. I can actually understand that.
After all, the protagonist should be immortal, so he can fight the enemy with ease when he sees it without any worries.
But the fundamental reason why I didn't set it as a player is: people will die if they are killed.
This seems like nonsense, so the Chinese translation is: Life is precious only once.
If the protagonist is a digitized immortal, then many of the plots in Middle-earth will actually be meaningless.
Because I am not only a fan of Miyazaki, but also a fan of Tolkien, and Tolkien emphasized one point very much: when facing death, life will still face it bravely and bloom with the dazzling brilliance of humanity.
[As the years pass, the Elves will forever remember the bravery of the Edain, marveling at how short their earthly life was, yet how freely they sacrificed their lives.]
I believe that many readers who are familiar with Middle-earth know the above sentence. Just a few words can make people imagine a heart-stirring scene in their minds.
In the Souls series, players also have a similar saying: "There is sadness ahead, but there is no fear."
Whether it is the protagonist of Maleficent, Dark Souls or Circle of Justice, they are all practicing this sentence with their bodies.
This is also why I like the Souls series. Otherwise, I would have been beaten up by monsters and asked for a refund and ran away (laughs).
So the story I want to write is about the courage of two worlds, rather than just a simple crushing and exciting story.
What's more, every reader has his or her own unique scale for combat power balance, and it is impossible to satisfy everyone.
So why not turn our attention to these stories of courage, fearlessness and love?
I like Middle-earth because even minor characters in the plot, when faced with darkness, will choose to muster up the courage to fight after being afraid.
I like the Souls series because of the story of the nameless protagonist in the Souls series who, despite knowing that the road ahead is difficult, still moves forward step by step and ultimately defeats the gods.
I also want to let readers who don’t know about the Souls series know that Miyazaki’s games are not just about exciting battles and killing people as soon as they meet, there are also many touching things in his games.
Brothers who are familiar with and understand the Souls series can give some examples here for readers who don’t know much about it.
Of course, if you get into the Souls series because of this and get your defense broken by monsters... I will not be responsible! (Escape)
