Chapter 10

The potion melted in my mouth, leaving me feeling a surge of joy, as if every cell in my body were dancing. Alice was surprised to see my wounds healing at a visible speed.
"This is a divine medicine! How did you get it?" Alice asked excitedly

From her words, I could tell she seemed to be familiar with this potion, so I asked tentatively, "Have you seen this potion?"

Alice excitedly ran to the bookshelf, grabbed a thick volume, and walked over! She flipped open a folded page. Seeing her expression of uncontrollable excitement, I didn't bother to interrupt. I let her browse! After a moment, she closed the book and asked, "This potion was created by the gods in ancient times. A mortal who drinks it can regenerate even a severed limb! How did you get it?"

After hearing what I said, she nodded her head happily and turned to go out!
I asked her in surprise, "Where are you going?"

Alice gave me a bright smile and said, "Of course, we have to defeat the Sky Wolf! Otherwise!"

Alice blushed and closed the door from the outside! I quickly got dressed and opened the door before heading out with Alice to defeat the Sky Demon Wolf!

We edged closer to the cave entrance, but before we could even get going, we heard a resounding wolf howl. "Alice, be careful! That beast has spotted us!" As soon as the words left our mouths, a giant wolf leaped out of the cave. It looked disdainful when it saw me, but when it looked at Alice, a hint of caution etched itself in its expression. "Wind Demon Spear," a three-foot-long wind spear, instantly materialized in front of Alice and flew towards the Sky Demon Wolf's head. Under attack from both sides, the Sky Demon Wolf leaped upward, easily dodging the initial wave of attacks from Alice and me. Its ability to dodge this initial blow wasn't surprising. I instantly vanished, reappearing behind the Sky Demon Wolf, and struck its neck. The sharp sound of a knife piercing flesh resonated! The Sky Demon Wolf let out a wail, then vanished from its spot. A swamp appeared beneath the Wolf's feet, restricting its movement. Seeing its movements hindered, I dodged to its side again. Seeing I had the Sky Demon Wolf under control, I didn't waste any time and quickly sheathed my sword! I activated my teleportation technique and retreated a short distance! I closed my eyes! My left thumb thrust the sword outward. In an instant, the world seemed to lose its color. My right hand slowly grasped the sword.
