Chapter 11

As expected, I passed out from exhaustion! When I woke up, I saw Alice's delicate and beautiful face! She was using her lap as a pillow for me. I looked at her, and she looked at me!
We both blushed at the same time. "Sorry for causing you trouble, Alice!" I said embarrassedly.
"It's okay! I looked carefully at your sleeping face and it's quite pretty!" Alice said with a faint smile.
I felt a little embarrassed by what Alice said! It was as if something suddenly occurred to me! "Where's Alice's demon wolf?"

Alice turned her head to the side, and I followed her gaze to the side, only to see a huge wolf head. Its eyes, still open, stared straight ahead, as if expressing its unwillingness! I stared at the wolf head for a moment, and suddenly Alice, who was standing next to me, patted my shoulder and said, "What are you thinking about?"

I looked back at her. "Don't you think life is a little fragile? The Sky Demon Wolf that just wanted to kill us now only has a head left!"

Alice looked me in the eye, then shifted her gaze to the wolf's head. She replied, "Maybe it's the law of nature! Those who kill will be killed!"

I looked at her in surprise, curious why these words came from the mouth of a young girl who knew nothing about the world!

"Don't look at me like that, I'll be shy!" Alice said blushing.
"No, I just saw a different you. It surprised me a little bit!"

"Are you that surprised? I just read those words in a book! Now let's think about what to do with this wolf head!"

"As for the wolf head, I'm going to take it back. I still have to kill two more ogres and find the villagers who might have survived before I can return to the guild to hand in the commission! You come with me, and we'll do quests together and see more of the world! How about it?" I looked at Alice with anticipation and said

"Didn't we agree on this a long time ago? Let's go see the world together!" Alice said, twirling her hair with her fingers.
Looking at Alice, I remembered what I promised her. "I want to see the world!"

I smiled knowingly! I walked over to the wolf's head and gently touched it. Instantly, an invisible suction force pulled the wolf's head into the backpack! I turned to look at Alice, but she wasn't curious about what was going on. I called Alice and we walked back to the place where she had saved me.

I was chatting casually with Alice on the way! Suddenly, a system notification sounded in my mind! "Congratulations, you successfully killed the Sky Demon Wolf and successfully unlocked the team function! The rewards are as follows: 6 passive skill points! 10 bottles of Holy Healing Potion!"

Passive skill points are a good thing! This is the first time! I was walking and thinking about which two skills to max out! Alice noticed my situation and asked: "Is there any good news? Brother Yun!" The voice was so sweet! It felt like I was about to fall in love! "I was thinking about something happy! I couldn't help but laugh! By the way, why do you call me Brother Yun!" I asked back
Alice said to me in a voice so sweet it was almost unbearable: "Brother Yun, don't you want me to call you that? I'm so sad!"

I was instantly petrified. Are all girls born like this? How could Alice, who'd barely seen the outside world, make such an expression? Well, whatever! Having such a cute little sister around isn't bad, I thought. Soon, we finally reached the woods where Alice had rescued me. It was still just as devastated as it was then. I was too lazy to go in and check again, so I put my hands together at the entrance of the cave. "Flame Explosion Prison Dragon Break" saw a fire dragon rushing into the cave. "Thunder Spirit Dragon Thunder" followed by another thunder dragon rushing into the cave.

"Alice, please use wind magic..." Before I could finish my words, I saw Alice unleashing "Wind Wave" and "Earth Spirit Rock." A hurricane followed closely behind my two skills! Following closely behind was a thick earth wall that sealed the cave entrance tightly! Not long after, a loud "boom" was heard from the cave, accompanied by the faint roar of monsters! However, what comforted me was that these ogres really had no brains. They were still living in their nests even after being discovered! However, this saved me a lot of trouble!
However, what Ling Yun didn't know was that if the combined magic wasn't unleashed by two people with such a deep bond, it would never succeed! Apparently, our heroine and hero didn't realize that they had unknowingly accomplished something that many people haven't accomplished in their entire lives!
I looked at the task list and smiled knowingly! "Let's wait a while before going in! Those that haven't been dealt with need to be dealt a fresh blow! Otherwise, with these ogres' self-healing abilities, it won't be long before they start wreaking havoc on the village again!"

Alice didn't answer me! I looked at her and saw that she had her hands crossed in front of her chest as if praying. She must be praying for the dead monsters! I didn't disturb her, but waited for her to finish praying. I told her my thoughts and then got up and walked towards the depths of the cave! From time to time, the smell of burnt meat could be smelled in the cave, which was extremely unpleasant. "Alice, don't you think this cave is a little strange?" I said to Alice

I pointed at the cave wall and said, "The intelligence of monsters like ogres is really regrettable. I don't think they can carve such a smooth cave wall. Besides, this cave doesn't even have a fork in the road!"

I looked into the depths of the cave with a puzzled gaze, and I couldn't help but wonder: Who could have built such a project in such a deserted place?

Suddenly, I had a flash of inspiration, and recalled the quest the system had issued: Explore the dungeon! Could this be it? At the same time, I began to refute it in my heart. It can't be such a coincidence! How could I encounter it as soon as the quest was released?
