Warhammer: Black Emperor

Chapter 493 Balsakuturi: Lord Nimrod's psionic power is too strong.

Chapter 493 Balsa Kuturi: Lord Nimrod's psionic power is too strong.
The commander of the 19th Army Corps, Al-Kahas Far, the strategist Balsa Kuturi, and the company commander Nerat Kirin, were ordered to wait for the Gene Primarch on the temporary helipad.

After they bowed, Ninglu turned his gaze to Nerat.

His injuries had healed, and he had put on a brand new set of armor.

The "Corrupted Baron" ordered the three men, "Follow me."

Alkahas suppressed his excitement and exchanged a glance with Balsa and Nerat.

When Lord Horus commanded them, he only met them a few times and took orders from them; he never had the opportunity to follow a Primarch.

Ninglu then led Alkahas and the other two onto the Stormbird, and Nelson started the engine.

Black stormbirds took flight, weaving through the thick, bronze-brown mist.

Ninglu directly advanced to the fourth level of Magnus's mental state. Through practice, he was able to directly enter the level he needed without first entering the first level of mental state and then improving.

He scrutinized the three people opposite him, observing them from their eyes and their movements.

The consciousness of the progenitor dispersed into thousands of probes, surrounding the three.

He conducted careful mental observation of the three Astartes without arousing their suspicion.

Alkahas excitedly restrained his fighting spirit, while Balsa rationally controlled his agitated emotions.

Nerat's admiration was the most obvious among the three, clearly demonstrating that the rescue in the life-or-death crisis had been effective.

Based on his past experience with "corruption" and his understanding of the three men, he drew a conclusion.

This is a good start and should be able to "corrode" Alkahas and Nerat before the Battle of Shana ends.

Balsa will face a more difficult situation.
He descended to the third level of his mental state, his consciousness spreading beyond the Stormbird, while simultaneously shifting his gaze to overlook the battlefield through the viewing window.

The 10th Legion was pursuing the demoralized Randan aliens. Bombs exploded in the alien ranks, tearing apart the flesh of each alien.

The aliens' sporadic counterattacks could not quell the fury of the shadowy forces of order.

They vented their anger over the death of their lord through slaughter.

The Primarch's consciousness extends beyond his field of vision, controlling far more information.

He discovered that among the fleeing aliens were dozens of mantis-like creatures, driving thousands of slaves as human shields, fleeing in the opposite direction from the stormbirds.

Their wings wrapped tightly around human slaves, and their mouthparts pierced the spines of human slaves.

A think tank member wearing a psionic hood, leading a small squad of Shadow Order, launches an attack on the aliens.

The think tank waved the Staff of Osiris in its hand, and blue light rained down on the human slaves.

Immediately, most of the human slaves stopped in their tracks, and the hundreds of slaves who continued to move forward were immediately highlighted.

The Shadow Order targeted the enemy, and the explosives accurately struck the green alien body.

The Primarch keenly noticed that one of the aliens, larger than those around it, was likely a dominant being.

With a forceful thrust of his mandibles, he tore the human slave apart, splattering blood and flesh everywhere.

He let out a piercing cry, flapped his wings, and instantly took flight.

A dozen or so aliens followed him and took to the air.

The alien overlord's crimson compound eyes stared at the think tank, then it turned and flew towards him.

The Shadow Order immediately opened fire into the air, unleashing a barrage of bullets that struck the alien.

One of the alien's enormous abdomens was struck, and dark green pus splattered out, soaking the Shadow of Order.

The Shadow Order ignored the disgusting slime on their bodies, but their goggles got stuck, and the attacks of the five Shadow Order members went astray.

The “Mystic,” the “Monster,” and the “Sleepless” follow their spiritual intuition, instinctively pulling the trigger and striking their enemies with precision.

Raindrops of slime splattered onto the black armor.

The Shadows of Order felt as if they were sinking into a swamp, their movements sluggish. A whooshing sound rang out overhead as aliens swooped down to attack, their foul stench seeping into their breathing grilles.

The "Hunter" and the "Warrior" simultaneously pressed the rune and rushed to the think tank's side.

They realized that the aliens would prioritize killing the think tank and re-enslaving humans in order to escape.

The sticky substance covering the ground did not slow them down; they arrived at the think tank in no time.

The chainsaw sword hissed as it tore the two aliens apart, a waterfall of slime soaking them and clinging to their power armor like amber.

They swung their chainsaws with difficulty, their bodies moving as if in slow motion.

The think tank raised its explosive pistol, and the bullet exploded at the overlord's waist.

In the ethereal vision, the stained glass-like object swayed for a moment, and the think tank knew it was a personal energy shield.

The think tank quickly raised its staff, creating a psionic shield.

Bang bang bang!
The series of collisions turned the think tank pale; he knew his psychic powers wouldn't hold for long.

Just then, a familiar and majestic voice resounded in his mind like thunder.

"My son, don't panic, I'm here to help you."

"Open your heart."

[It's the father.] The "peeping man" looked up at the stormbird, which had already flown several kilometers away.

Despite the distance, he still believed in his genetic father.

At the same moment the think tank opens its heart, it returns to Nimrod, the second level of Magnus's mind, and consciousness spreads into the think tank's heart.

The mind of the original gene is unilaterally integrated with the think tank.

Magnus's second state of mind allows a psyker's thoughts to separate from their body and establish a mental connection with another person.

This spiritual purity enhances the fidelity of telepathic communication, meaning that both parties will sense each other's thoughts equally.

The Primarch, however, can selectively and unilaterally share minds; he can know all the information he wants to know.

The think tank's name is Okafor. He comes from Alicia. Five years ago, he completed all his reconstructive surgeries to become a think tank apprentice, and a year ago, he passed the test to become an editor...

Through the telepathic link, Okafor instantly grasped all the information the Primarch wanted him to know, including the secrets of the Howling Mask.

The young think tank member, who had just become an editor, trembled slightly as he had a spiritual exchange with the father of genetics.

Following his father's guidance, he opened his mouth and let out a loud howl.

The mantis-shaped alien's mind was instantly pierced, and it collapsed to the ground.

Part of the Primarch's psychic power, beyond Okafor's control, spread outwards.

The sound pierced through the dark clouds, and the aliens within several kilometers around it all slumped and collapsed.

Alkahas and Nerat immediately moved closer to the viewing window and looked out.

Only Balsa looked thoughtfully at the Primarch, having sensed the psionic fluctuations emanating from Lord Nimrod just moments before.

His eyes gleamed with golden light, and he heard soft whispers in his ear.

Balsa's conjecture was confirmed, and his pupils were filled with astonishment.

Lord Nimrod's psychic powers are too strong!
He just launched an attack on the Xenomorphs through his offspring, killing thousands upon thousands of them.

Perhaps only the Crimson King's psychic powers can compare to those of His Majesty.
Ninglu noticed Balsa's gaze, nodded slightly at him, and thought to himself.

Although the think tanks used the Staff of Osiris to both counter the tactics of the Randan pioneers in consuming slaves and to save some human slaves, the dangers they faced were also greater.

Most of the Ran Dan aliens possess psychic abilities, enabling them to sense and pinpoint the location of the think tank, and thus launch targeted attacks against them.

It is foreseeable that the war with Randan will result in high casualties for the think tank. This issue must be addressed next time the prophecy dice are used for divination.
