Harry doesn't want to be a wizard, he wants to be a superhero
Chapter 339 Harry: Minister Fudge, it's time to replace the Minister of Magic!
Hermione abruptly looked up, her fingertips trembling slightly with nervousness, but her voice was exceptionally clear, carrying an undeniable firmness:
“I deny the charge of ‘unauthorized use of magic’!”
That day in the London suburbs, the Dementors appeared first; they went straight for that Muggle, and I needed to save him!
Hermione gripped the hem of her robe tightly, her voice tinged with suppressed anger:
"I use the Guardian Charm not only for self-defense, but also to protect others!"
Is watching them get torn apart by Dementors what the Ministry of Magic wants to see as 'following the rules'?
Furthermore, Dementors are under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Magic, so why would they appear in a neighborhood where Muggles congregate? Shouldn't this be a question the hearing should be addressing?
"Dementors?" The jury members looked at each other in surprise. They hadn't expected Hermione to cast the Patronus Charm for this reason.
But why are Beast Souls appearing in the Muggle world? Aren't most of them supposed to be in Azkaban?
Could it be that the mysterious man has really returned? He has a history of controlling Dementors.
Fudge's expression tightened; he knew he couldn't let the jury continue their discussion, or the situation would completely spiral out of control.
Then his gaze shifted, and he immediately thought of a clever excuse:
"Yes, what a clever excuse. Muggles can't see Dementors, so no one can refute your excuse."
Is that so, child? Is that what you're thinking?
Hermione was furious at being questioned, and as Fergie had predicted, she had indeed fallen into the trap of proving herself:
“I’m not lying. There were three Dementors in total. If I hadn’t used the Patronus Charm, not only would that Muggle be dead, but I would have been dead too.”
Fudge forcefully interrupted Hermione's explanation:
"Enough. I'm sorry to interrupt you, but I think this must be a carefully fabricated story. However, since you can't provide any eyewitnesses to this incident, you can't prove that you really encountered a Dementor."
Hermione's eyes were filled with rage; she hadn't expected Fudge to be so shameless.
At this moment, Harry patted her on the shoulder to reassure her, then smiled calmly:
“I’m sorry, Minister Fudge, we do have other witnesses.”
Fudge looked at the fifteen or sixteen-year-old wizard in front of him, his expression hardening, not daring to underestimate him in the slightest.
He immediately retorted, "If the witness you're referring to is you, then I'm sorry, Mr. Potter."
Because of your well-known intimate relationship with Hermione Granger, you cannot act as a witness.
Harry scoffed at Fudge, "Who said I was the witness? The witness is Mrs. Weasley."
Mrs. Weasley was there at the time; she saw everything.
Fudge's expression changed drastically: "How is this possible? There were clearly only the two of you at the time. You're lying. You've conspired to give false testimony."
Harry shook his head and said calmly, "At first, we both thought that there were only the two of us wizards there, but then Mrs. Weasley told me that she happened to be watching the whole thing from a distance."
“That’s impossible. I need to access Weasley’s memories. If she has the relevant memories, she can be a witness. Otherwise, you and Weasley will both be sentenced!” Despite a sense of foreboding, Fudge made the best decision.
He can only hope now that Harry and the others are indeed conspiring to fabricate evidence.
But Harry's response made Fudge's expression even uglier:
"Of course, Your Excellency Minister Fouché, as you wish!"
Mrs. Weasley approached, and Harry winked at her, then took out his wand and touched Mrs. Weasley's brain, extracting a luminous band of memory. He then took out a Pensieve, placed the memory band inside, and addressed the crowd:
"As you have all seen, the memories in the Pensieve cannot be faked."
You can see what Mrs. Weasley saw through the Pensieve and see if what we're saying is true.
Fudge was the first to stand up, his face pale as he dipped his head into the liquid in the Pensieve. After a moment, he straightened up and looked at Harry in disbelief:
"How is that possible? She was actually there at the time?"
The other jurors also stepped forward one by one to view the memories in the Pensieve, giving Hermione crucial evidence to prove her innocence.
Fudge had no choice but to declare Hermione innocent, no matter how unwilling he was. Faced with overwhelming evidence, he had to do so.
But just as he was about to end this unpleasant hearing, Harry suddenly smiled at him and said:
"Don't rush off, Minister Fouché, we have another hearing to attend to."
Fudge was in a very bad mood at the moment, and when he heard Harry's words, he said impatiently:
"As Minister of Magic, how could I not know there was another hearing today? Mr. Potter, this is no laughing matter!"
Is there really no other hearing? Perhaps Mr. Malfoy could speak with Batty Crouch about whether there is another hearing.
Fudge's ominous premonition reached its peak. He looked at Malfoy and Batty Crouch in astonishment, and their reactions left him in disbelief.
Mr. Malfoy bowed slightly to the crowd and smiled brightly:
“Mr. Porter is right. There was indeed another hearing today, but because Minister Fudge was so busy, he didn’t remember even though we had informed him of the schedule.”
Batty Crouch simply stated, "Yes, there is indeed another hearing."
Fudge glanced around and noticed that the jury members all looked surprised.
But the surprise on his face wasn't for the upcoming hearing, but rather for Fudge's complete lack of experience with this hearing.
Fudge immediately realized that the next hearing was a conspiracy against him, and he had no choice but to confront it.
Then, with a grim expression, he asked, "So what exactly is the content of the second hearing? Let's begin."
Harry didn't give a direct answer, but instead joked with a smile:
"So Minister Fouché really didn't know the specifics of the second hearing. Of course we can tell you, but before that, please step down from the judge's seat and go to the defendant's seat."
"What do you mean?" Fudge demanded.
Harry's smile grew more genuine, and in Fudge's eyes, it became increasingly dangerous.
"That's because the second hearing was to adjudicate the Minister of Magic Fudge's inaction and irresponsible handling of the situation during his tenure."
If the hearing passes, then Minister Fudge will be forced to step down from his position as Minister of Magic.
Fudge: "!!!"
Fudge finally understood Harry's purpose, and he said through gritted teeth, word by word:
"You're dreaming!" (End of Chapter)
