Chapter 501 Gods Among Mortals
"Calm down, calm down! Bruce!! Don't make a move!"

The Flash instantly appeared in the guest room and shouted to the two Bruce Waynes beside him.

"Barry, did Alfred send you here?" Batman asked Barry.

"Yes, it was Afu who asked me to come over."

"I came for old Bruce."

"Bruce?"

Batman looked at his aged self, an older Bruce Wayne from another timeline.

"Surprise, I am you."

“I’ve heard a lot about you from Barry.”

"Bruce, old Bruce is amazing. He transformed Gotham City into one of the safest cities in the world."

“He’s eighty years old now and is the president of the country. He has not only changed Gotham, but he has changed the whole world,” Barry continued.

"Alright, I know Bruce Wayne is a great man." Batman took his bat mask from old Bruce's hand and walked out of the room.

Even though the guest was his older self from another world, Batman remained vigilant. However, he needed to get this older self to lower its guard.

Batman changed out of his Batsuit and transformed back into the eligible bachelor Bruce Wayne.

"I was supposed to get a good night's sleep and rest, but since you're so curious about me, let's talk all night long."

Old Bruce draped a blanket over himself and sat down by the fireplace with Bruce to chat, with Barry keeping him company.

"You're not an ordinary person?"

"In order to fight against Kryptonians and Apokolips, I am no longer an ordinary person."

"I practiced a special kind of qigong and gained a superpower called magnetic field rotation, which is the electromagnetic force that allows me to control the four fundamental forces of the universe."

"The rotation of the magnetic field makes my power comparable to that of a Kryptonian, but the reason I came to your world in Barry is also because of the Kryptonians."

"That's right, in old Bruce's world, Clark became the son of the Apokolips monarch and was sent to conquer Earth."

"But there's a Supergirl on Earth over there too; she's Clark's cousin."

"fool!!"

“We should have Kara here too!” Barry suddenly realized.

"Is Kara still imprisoned in Siberia here with us?!"

"Could Clark have heard that?" Barry asked nervously.

“He doesn’t have a habit of eavesdropping,” Bruce said calmly to Barry.

“However, it’s necessary to investigate.” Bruce got up and went to the Bat Cave, and old Bruce followed him with the intention of visiting.

The Batcave displays various Batman gadgets from this world, and their design style appears to be much more rugged and tough than that of the old Bruce Wayne. Some glass cases display Batman memorabilia.

The bat exoskeleton armor that fought Superman Clark is also in a glass case, like a statue.

"Afu, what are you fixing?"

"It's the old man's bat armor."

“His armor was damaged on the outside, and I was just repairing the outer armor that I could fix,” Alfred replied.

When old Bruce fell from the sky, he was wearing a badly damaged Bat Armor. Alfred thought Bruce had encountered a powerful enemy and rushed to his side to help.

"This suit of armor is capable of killing Doomsday..."

Old Bruce observed his younger self and knew that Bruce had his eye on his Bat Warrior armor. "You can't control it," Old Bruce said.

"how do you know?"

"Because you don't rotate in a magnetic field."

"..."

Bruce sat down in front of the Batcomputer and began searching for secret facilities hidden in Siberia, as well as various unidentified objects that had fallen to Earth from outer space.

Old Bruce gave Bruce a precise coordinate, which was the coordinate of the secret research base he and Barry used when they went to rescue Kara.

Bruce investigated and, through high-altitude observations using the Bat Satellite, discovered that the secret research base had long been abandoned.

"It seems Kara hasn't come to Earth either. One possibility is that she went to Apokolips," Old Bruce analyzed.

It's not impossible.

In Old Bruce's observation, there is a certain contrast between Barry's world and his own.

If you can't find her, that's fine. But if you have time, you should still tell Clark Kent that he actually has a cousin who was sent to Earth when Krypton was destroyed, just like him, but he doesn't know why she hasn't arrived on Earth yet.

"I want to go back to my world, is there any way to do that?" Old Bruce asked Bruce.

"I have no solution, but someone might. Go to sleep, sir."

"..."

After old Bruce went to sleep, Barry led Bruce to a glass cabinet.

Inside the glass case were the mother boxes that Barry had brought back.

"Is this what you brought back from the old man?" Batman asked, looking at Flash.

“I don’t think there will be any problems; we already have experience dealing with them.” Barry met Bruce’s gaze.

Bruce raised his wrist and called out to Clark.

He had barely taken a few breaths when Superman Clark arrived at the Batcave beneath Wayne Manor.

"What's the emergency that you're calling me so late?" Superman's expression immediately tensed up when he saw the Mother Box.

"Didn't we destroy them? How come there's still one left?"

When Steppenwolf invaded, the fusion of the three Mother Boxes was prevented. Afterwards, the Mother Boxes were destroyed, leaving only three dead boxes that could no longer serve any purpose.

Clark could tell at a glance that the Mother Box in front of him was an awakened Mother Box, a living Mother Box.

"Ask Barry, he did this on his own."

Barry sighed and began to recount the whole story to Clark without holding anything back.

He trusted Clark and didn't want to deceive or hide anything from him on matters that could affect world security.

“Let him stay right under our noses. But we can’t let Cyborg come into contact with him; it will bewitch Cyborg,” Clark said.

“It will bewitch anyone who gets close to it. Only those with a strong enough mind and will can resist the temptation of the Mother Box,” Bruce said.

"Barry, what have you been up to?" Old Bruce emerged from behind the Batmobile. It turned out he had only pretended to go to sleep, but hadn't actually left. Even Superman Clark hadn't noticed him eavesdropping.

“This is something from our world, so I’ll take it back with me,” old Bruce said as he walked over.

Old Bruce sized up Superman Clark.

Clark Kent's face was that of a terrifying enemy whom he was desperately trying to eliminate just yesterday.
