Who let this Dementor into Hogwarts!

Chapter 346 Internal strife is as important to humans as mating.
The inside and outside of the house were completely different; the outside looked somewhat dilapidated, but the inside was extremely luxurious.
A gold-rimmed umbrella sits in the entryway, and the entire first floor is covered with wallpaper featuring a dark green snakeskin embossed pattern. Every so often, an exquisitely framed picture hangs on the wall, displaying book reviews or clippings from "Rita Skeeter's Exclusive Truth."
The living room was furnished with three scarlet velvet sofas arranged in a circle, with several parchment notices haphazardly placed on the glass coffee table in the center. Cohen could glimpse the headline "Defamation Lawsuit Pending."
The place reeked of a mixture of decaying rose scents and musty parchment, a smell Cohen disliked.
However, Cohen keenly sensed a lingering aura of dark magic.
very familiar.
Someone used the Avada Kedavra curse here.
"Thump thump thump!" Rita hurriedly climbed the stairs as soon as she entered the room, wanting to go to the living room to check on the situation.
Cohen followed, and the closer they got to the second floor, the more obvious the lingering curse became.
There were many rooms in the second-floor corridor. Cohen determined that the place with the lingering curse was the second room on the right, and Rita did indeed push open that door—this was her bedroom.
"Squeak-"
Everything in the bedroom was normal; there were no messy bedding, no broken windows, and no blood splattered everywhere.
The room was dimly lit only by the faint moonlight from outside. Loki was lying on the bed, but his face was not visible.
“Loki?” Rita stopped at the doorway, swallowed hard, and asked the dark figure on the bed.
"Fluorescent." Cohen lit the tip of his wand, and a beam of light shone directly onto the face of the person on the bed.
The gray-haired man stared wide-eyed at the ceiling, his face ashen and bloodless, indicating he had been dead for a long time.
Rita saw Loki's dead body, but she didn't scream or anything.
“Looks like someone kindly moved him to the bed.” Cohen walked to the bedside and lifted the blanket. “That’s thoughtful.”
Loki was still wearing his gray plaid pajamas, his hands clenched into fists, as someone snatched his wand from his hand.
It wasn't a home invasion robbery; the killer was most likely there to kill Loki—and he even put this person on Rita's bed, probably to intimidate her as well.
"What are you doing?" Rita looked at Cohen with great confusion as he poked at the corpse with the tip of his wand.
"I don't know, it just feels very professional."
Cohen put away his wand.
"You know he's one of the Silver Keys, right?"
“He said Silver Key had been disbanded for a long time…” Rita said cautiously, “and he doesn’t seem like a paranoid madman.”
"They're already coming after me, aren't they crazy?" Cohen snorted lightly. "You can deal with the body yourself."
"You're going to let me go?" Rita asked in surprise.
“It seems you’re quite uninhibited about the dead—but it’s true, I’m planning to let you go, because you still have a little bit of other use,” Cohen said. “But before that…”
As he spoke, Cohen pulled out a small bottle of potion that had been sitting in the Room of Requirement for a year.
This was the tracking potion I gave Peter Pettigrew before. I only used a little bit of the potion, and Cohen filled several bottles to keep in reserve.
“What is this?” Rita took a step back warily, but she quickly realized she seemed to have entered a dead end. If she ran now, Cohen would devour her soul.
If Cohen refuses this unknown drug, he will most likely devour her soul as well.
She could only accept this bottle of medicine, and she didn't even know what it was for.
“It’s not dangerous for you as long as you obey,” Cohen said. “Drink it.”
Cohen's last words were like a command.
Rita, though furious, reluctantly accepted the small medicine bottle.
“The materials are expensive; if you spill them, you’ll have to pay for it with your soul and emotions,” Cohen said casually. “You could have lived a very easy life, but you had to provoke me—see, now things have gotten complicated?”
Rita drank the medicine, panting heavily as if she had drunk some kind of poison, staring nervously at Cohen.
"Is it enough?"
“I’ll let you know if I need anything later,” Cohen said. “Keep up your work spreading rumors, and focus more on the Ministry of Magic.”
"Okay," Rita said in a muffled voice.
“Where is Loki’s luggage?” Cohen said. “I’m taking it with me.”
……
The dead Silver Key member only had one package of luggage, but it was still somewhat useful to Cohen.
After getting what he wanted, Cohen Apparated back to the vicinity of the school, and then flew back to the castle invisibly under the cover of night—the window of the Room of Requirement was still open for Cohen, indicating that the Earl had returned before Cohen came back.
"Didn't you say you'd scout ahead for me? You've scouted all the way to Hogwarts, haven't you?" Cohen questioned the Earl, who was lying in his bed.
"Huh? Really?" The Earl rolled over, spreading his wings and lying face up in his cushioned nest, answering in a muffled voice, "I don't know, I went out for a bit but didn't manage to hook up with any female owls and came back—did you see that Loki?"
“I saw it.” Cohen plopped down in an armchair and rummaged through Loki’s luggage. “He was murdered—in the Skeeter’s bed.”
"That woman is so fierce?!" The count immediately jumped up, his spirits lifted. "I didn't realize..."
"Is your head filled with nothing but dirty jokes?" Cohen said dryly. "I feel like it's a power struggle within the Silver Key—Wernher von Braun said that the people in the Silver Key were divided into several factions."
"Internal strife seems to be as important to humans as mating."
The count agreed,
"What do you think, little Dementor?"
"Loki's goal is similar to that of the previous Silver Key members: to ruin my wonderful life."
Cohen was looking at a notebook in Loki's luggage while talking to the Earl.
"Damn it, does this person have a crush on Dementors? His notebook is full of diagrams about Dementors, how perverted..."
Every few pages in this notebook there's a hand-drawn illustration of various parts of a Dementor and their characteristics, and even an analysis of the Dementor's kiss. If it were any more explicit, it would turn into a pornographic image—it's hard not to suspect that a large number of people with strange fetishes inside the Silver Key actually have Dementors as their object of fantasy.
However, this notebook did indeed conduct some in-depth research on "how to harm Dementors," and even made some modifications to the Patronus Charm, although it was never actually tested.
If it's a normal Dementor, the Patronus Charm can indeed render them helpless...
But Silver Key probably didn't expect one thing—who would have thought that Cohen, as a hybrid Dementor, could also summon a Patronus?
