Who let this Dementor into Hogwarts!

Chapter 347 "The Growing Pains of Love"

Chapter 347 "The Growing Pains of Love"

So their overall approach was wrong. Even if they mastered the Guardian Charm, it wouldn't be effective if their soul strength was lower than Cohen's.

In reality, only Cohen can accurately perceive the strength of one's soul—and even Cohen doesn't fully understand the methods for improving it.

Aside from Cohen's unique method of absorbing souls, only the increase in soul strength due to age and Voldemort's possession of humans can enhance it.

In comparison, perhaps the old hotel owner's plan to "recreate Cohen" was more practical.

"Forget it, it's too hard to think about. Let's just wait for them to come knocking on our door." Cohen rummaged through the package, but there was nothing in it except for clothes and a few notebooks on Dementors.

Instead of wasting our fighting spirit through internal strife, we should lie back and wait for our opponents to come knocking.

Cohen originally planned to rush over and take down the troublemaker, but someone beat him to it.

The radicals of Silver Key want to kill him, and the conservatives want to frame him—so who is really behind this infighting?
By the time Cohen returned to the Gryffindor common room, curfew had already passed.

However, the fat lady never tattles, otherwise Gryffindor's scores would likely have remained at the level of 0 (because the hourglass of scores does not have negative numbers).

Hermione was all alone in the lounge, sobbing with her head on the table. The sound of Cohen coming in startled her, and she quickly wiped away her tears.

"You and Krum ended things so quickly?" Cohen asked.

“No, no,” Hermione said, feigning strength.

"So it's about Ron?" Cohen said.

"..." Hermione sniffed.

Unsurprisingly, the two of them had another argument in the lounge.

“He’s unhappy to see you with Krum, and you’re also unhappy that he didn’t invite you,” Cohen said, puzzled. “Then why don’t you two just be together?”

"I don't like him!" Hermione involuntarily raised her voice.

"Oh." Cohen made a pursing-mouth gesture. "Then I'm going back to sleep—"

"Wait, wait a minute—" Hermione suddenly called out to Cohen.

"What's wrong?" Cohen yawned.

"Don't tell anyone else..." Hermione said awkwardly, "Just now—I—"

“I won’t tell them,” Cohen replied.

I can't even imagine how much of a headache it would be for me and Sissoko if the basilisk and Harry got together, and the basilisk acted like that...

Hermione hurriedly fled back to the girls' dormitory.

When Cohen returned to the boys' dormitory, the situation there wasn't much better.

Ron was still awake, leaning against the bed, pouting.

Seamus was already snoring, while Harry silently kept Ron company in the bed next to him.

"Is Voldemort going to attack Hogwarts tonight?" Cohen asked, peeking out from the half-open door of the dormitory. "Why isn't anyone sleeping?"

Harry didn't say anything, but he gestured towards Ron with his lip and gave him a look that said "Ron is in a bad mood."

As soon as Cohen entered, he felt something sharp under his foot. He bent down and picked it up. It was the head of a Krum model, broken off from a small statue. There were irregular cracks at the break in the neck.

“How cruel,” Cohen clicked his tongue.

Looks like Ron broke his most prized possession besides his wand tonight. Tsk, love…

"What best seeker—he's just a brainless big oaf—and he didn't even win the World Cup..." Ron muttered something under his breath, "like a pumpkin pie with moldy filling..."

Then, Ron shook the blankets vigorously and crawled into bed.

Harry shook his head, gave Cohen a helpless look, and lay down as well.

On the second day of Christmas, the castle was almost deserted in the morning, as if all the students had suddenly died the night before.

Hermione and Ron seemed to have reached some kind of secret agreement after a night of sullen silence, keeping quiet about the ball and the argument, their politeness almost unbelievable.

“I call this the growing pains of falling in love,” Cohen said as he went to the bathroom with Harry. “Going to school is very useful; it helps you understand teenage emotions.”

However, Harry's attention didn't seem to be on Ron and Hermione.

"Cohen, did you send all the basilisks back last night?" Harry tried to make his tone sound like he was talking about a very ordinary topic.

“It’s been sent back, but if you want to see the little basilisk one more time…” Cohen raised his eyebrows.

“Well, then maybe not…” Harry said, his eyes darting around. “It’s no trouble…”

“The little snake monster actually wanted to see you again yesterday,” Cohen said, putting his arm around your shoulder. “But Sissoko disagreed. Your priority now is to figure out how to get on Sissoko’s good side—I can be your wingman.”

“I didn’t…” Harry blushed, “and it was a snake…”

"I see."

Cohen patted Harry on the shoulder.

"Get ready, I'll take you for a walk through the box. You can bring some gifts for Hisoko. Once you've won over Hisoko, you can start conquering the little snake monster."

"Dating a snake is too strange..." Harry thought for a long time, but still shook his head.

“I have a way to do this,” Cohen said loyally. “The materials are quite precious, but we’re brothers.”

I'm obedient and submissive when it comes to creating a body for Voldemort, but when it comes to creating wives for my brothers, I strike hard.

“But there’s one more thing to consider before you move on to dating,” Cohen said.

The two left the restroom, intending to return to the auditorium for breakfast.

"Huh?" Harry asked, snapping out of his reverie. "What else is there to consider? Did Professor McGonagall assign any extra homework?"

"It's a golden egg!" Hermione popped out from behind them. "Harry, Cohen, have you both completely forgotten about this? The second project starts in February!"

“There are still two months left, aren’t there?” Harry said evasively. “Besides, that egg just screams…”

“That sound was a mermaid’s voice,” Cohen said. “The mermaid’s voice is only normal in the water; once it’s out of the water, it becomes very hoarse and terrifying.”

"Cohen, you've solved it?!" Hermione asked excitedly. "That's wonderful! If you have any difficulties, I can help you look up information—there's bound to be a solution—"

"What does the golden egg say?" Harry asked Cohen.

“I haven’t tried it, because I’m lazy,” Cohen said. “But you can come with me to the box this afternoon to try it out—and while you’re at it, catch up on our in-laws’ relationship…”

"What in-laws?" Hermione asked, puzzled.

“It’s nothing…” Harry quickly covered Cohen’s mouth, “He’s still half asleep—”
