"Don't eat it! I still need to get information out of him," Cohen warned sternly. "Otherwise, you won't have any new food this month."

"Grandpa! He's talking about you!" The little snake monster's voice boomed out, as if he were gloating, feeling that he hadn't been included in Cohen's "you".

"And you, Sophia, neither of you are allowed to eat." Cohen sighed.

"So... emmm... should we take this fake corpse off?" Hermione asked Cohen hesitantly.

“Edward will handle it. Our priority now is to get out of here and pretend that Professor McGonagall hasn’t found out that we’ve skipped school again after two years…” Cohen said.

“I’m sorry,” Harry said after a moment’s thought, “I think… Hermione might be right… it might really have been a dream… which means Sirius wasn’t actually captured…”

"It's not just a dream, it's Voldemort's trap. When we get out, we'll see the Death Eaters and Voldemort waiting outside," Cohen said. "And then there'll be a great battle—"

“You’re kidding!” Ron exclaimed in surprise, clearly not believing that a mysterious figure would be lurking in the Ministry of Magic’s halls—but his face suddenly turned deathly pale as he remembered that the person on duty tonight was a former Death Eater, and everything seemed so much like what Cohen had said…

“I’m not kidding, the detection magic I left in the hall has reacted. There’s a whole bunch of people crouching there,” Cohen said seriously. “We have to fight more than a dozen of them.”
-
Even if they are unwilling to accept this, it's no use, because they will soon find that Cohen is absolutely right.

The good news is that Cohen arrived this time "fully armed".

Cohen regretted bringing the Chimera down—he should have left it in the hall.

Because of the huge object, they had to make two trips to get up there.

This time, Cohen went ahead of them to avoid any unexpected events that might occur if Harry and his friends faced the Death Eaters alone.

“You remain invisible until I give you my command,” Cohen said.

"Roar!" the lion roared joyfully.

"Also, you're not allowed to shout, otherwise invisibility won't work, and they'll all be scared away, then I won't have a chance to bomb the Ministry of Magic." Cohen pinched the lion's mouth.

Upon arriving at the lobby via elevator, one finds the fireplace already lit, and large groups of people dressed in black robes and wearing Death Eater masks are gathered in circles around the elevator exit.

"Hello, everyone," Cohen greeted them.

After Cohen and the invisible Chimera emerged, the elevator shut itself off and began to descend. The Death Eaters were somewhat surprised to find that only Cohen had come up.

"Where is the prophecy orb that the Dark Lord wanted?" one of the Death Eaters asked.

“They’re with Harry, and they’re coming up,” Cohen said. “The elevator’s fast.”

"Why weren't you with them?" another Death Eater asked suspiciously.

"Would you like to ride in the elevator with me?" Cohen asked sincerely.

But the other party wasn't being sincere at all, and the Death Eater who asked the question took a step back.

"Small actions can cause great harm," Cohen said regretfully.

Now it's a group of Death Eaters waiting for the elevator with Cohen.

As soon as Harry and his friends stepped out of the open elevator doors, they were all startled by the large crowd outside.

“Potter, give me the Prophecy Ball.” It was clearly Lucius Malfoy’s voice.

A dozen glowing wands were pointed at them simultaneously, and a spell was cast towards the elevator behind them, slamming the elevator doors shut.

“What prophecy orb?” Harry asked. They had been prepared when they came up in the elevator.

Hermione quickly reviewed a whole bunch of spells she and Harry had learned together last year, and besides, they also had Cohen—Cohen's box was their final trump card. If it were just Death Eaters... the dragon alone would be enough to give them a hard time.

Unless Voldemort really comes.

So they all breathed a sigh of relief when they didn't see Voldemort outside the elevator.

“That thing you went down to get,” Lucius said lazily, “Potter, even if you pretend you know nothing, we won’t let you leave.”

“Oh, I smashed that thing,” Harry said viciously.

No wonder Cohen had himself break the prophecy ball beforehand.

Harry felt a surge of satisfaction seeing the Death Eaters' dumbfounded expressions.

"What did you say?!" a sharp voice from one of the Death Eaters demanded.

Cohen quietly positioned the chimera between Harry and his friends and the Death Eaters, then stepped in front of the chimera himself.

Because I'm about to use some really cool and crazy moves that might accidentally hurt these three "ordinary people".

"I said the prophecy orb shattered, are you deaf?" Harry saw that Cohen had sided with them and was preparing to begin the next step of their pre-arranged plan—to provoke and ambush the Death Eaters, and then escape in the chaos.

“How dare you—” Lucius’s voice carried a hint of fear—they should have taken the Prophecy Orb back, “If the Dark Lord finds out…”

“He can’t hear me, can he?” Harry said coldly, gesturing behind his back for Hermione and the others to act immediately—“You’ll have to go tell him yourselves you’ve failed—”

"I can't hear you, can I, Potter?"

Voldemort's chilling voice echoed through the hall amidst a cloud of black mist. Then, he emerged from the mist, his snake-like eyes gleaming with a dangerous red light.

"Holy crap, you have ears!" Cohen suddenly realized that Voldemort actually had ears—he had always thought he was bald, noseless, and earless...

“At times like this…” Harry whispered to Cohen.

“Cohen, I remember telling you…” Voldemort said softly, “I needed that prophecy orb… but you let Harry smash it…”

“Then… praise me?” Cohen said.

"Which side do you want to take?" Voldemort's eyes narrowed to slits. "But you can make amends—kill the people behind you, and I will forgive your disloyalty..."

“Okay,” Cohen said.

Harry and the others felt their hearts stop for a moment—but they quickly recovered, because Cohen suddenly turned around and said those words with his back to Voldemort.

Now the person behind Cohen is Voldemort.

"It seems my kindness has made you... a little too proud?" Voldemort said maliciously. "You think Lord Voldemort has no way to deal with you, so you chose to betray me? I'm sorry, I no longer need you."

“Why say such harsh things? You’ve been the one who’s disappointed me all along,” Cohen said, turning back. “And let’s get this straight, it’s not that you don’t need me, it’s that I don’t need you—I’ve now got the highest power here.”

Why would I join a dark wizard rebellion? My buddy's already in power.
