Chapter 582 "On Why Voldemort Chose Albania"

Chapter 582 "On Why Voldemort Chose Albania"

After dealing with Halbo, Cohen felt as if the pace of his life had suddenly slowed down.

Even the return of the real Helbo a year later didn't seem so oppressive—everything at the school was proceeding smoothly, news of Death Eaters being arrested occasionally appeared in the newspapers, and Voldemort's activities were becoming less frequent.

Many people are saying that the minister will soon bring the mysterious man to justice.

No one knew that the more dangerous Herpo would return, and Cohen didn't want to spread this terrifying news—others probably wouldn't believe it anyway.

By March, the weather had become somewhat damp and gloomy, but the atmosphere among the students was very positive. There were no more terrorist attacks like those of the previous semester, nor were there any murders or disappearances that were frequently reported in the newspapers.

As a result, the trend of dating began to spread among sixth-grade students, and any boy and girl you saw was a couple.

Some people who haven't found a partner have come up with crooked ideas, such as sending Cohen, who is still single, and Harry, who "claims to be single," snacks coated with love potions.

March 1st was supposed to be just Ron's birthday, but Ron wasn't the only one to receive a gift.

“Slughorn taught me well.” Cohen threw a box of soft-boiled cookies that Lisa Dupin had given him into the trash can, but before throwing it away, Cohen would still open it and taste a little, since he wouldn’t be affected anyway. “Now everyone knows that you can seduce people with aphrodisiacs.”

"Do you think this box of chocolates is edible?" Harry asked somewhat uncertainly, handing Cohen a box of chocolate crucibles he had received for his assessment.

“I think I shouldn’t accept food from any unfamiliar girl who suddenly sends me something,” Cohen said. “Women are all trouble—and I shouldn’t accept food from men either. Why would Kevin Entwistle from Ravenclaw send me something?”

"Because he thinks you're very pretty." Ron unwrapped his birthday present. "Look! My parents gave me this!"

Ron held up a heavy gold watch that he had pulled out of the gift box. The dial had peculiar symbols around its edge, and the hands were small, moving stars.

"I plan to become an adult again next year..."

“Cool—does every wizarding family give this watch to their child when they come of age?” Harry asked with a hint of envy.

“Probably,” Cohen said. “Sirius will definitely send you one too. He doesn’t even want to find a wife for you.”

“I wish he could live his own life.” Harry shook his head. “He seems to have put too much emphasis on me in his life… At Christmas, Mrs. Weasley wanted to recommend some witches to him, but he said, ‘Do those witches care that he has a son?’”

“This isn’t a godfather, he’s become a stepfather,” Ron clicked his tongue. “I wish my mom and dad cared for me the way Sirius cared for you.”

“But he still has his own family and children. I’m all grown up now, I don’t need him to do so much for me—” Harry said, “I owe him so much these past few years…”

“He also feels he owes you a lot,” Cohen said. “He just wants to make up for past mistakes—”

"You're just going to throw all these snacks away like that?" Ron said, glancing at the several boxes of snacks in the trash can as he unwrapped the remaining gifts.

“It’s full of aphrodisiacs. You can pick any box you want and eat it, then go and embarrass yourself in front of the whole school.” Cohen chuckled. “I’ll take pictures for you—it’s a camera I just bought last year.”

“Never mind then—Merlin’s bra, Cohen! I love you!” Ron exclaimed as he unwrapped Cohen’s gift.

It was a bag of shiny Galleons.

Cohen couldn't decide what to give, so he gave money instead.

It's cheesy, but it's also very inspiring.

“Take back your last sentence,” Cohen said disdainfully. “Otherwise, I’m going to kiss you, the Dementor kind.”

[Note: Tell your friend that I don't have that thing.]
“Also, Merlin said he doesn’t have a bra,” Cohen added. [Note: You'd better not say anything.]
"Hiss—" Harry suddenly gasped.

“Harry, I’ll give you a bag of Galleons for your birthday too, consider it money laundering.” Cohen continued unpacking the package, tasting a little of each item before throwing it away.

But Harry didn't respond. Cohen looked up and saw Harry with his eyes closed, repeatedly rubbing his scar, with a few drops of sweat on his forehead.

"What's wrong, Harry?" Ron approached and looked at Cohen for help, wanting to ask for his opinion.

"Did you see Voldemort again?" Cohen asked.

"Ouch... wait a minute..." Harry said, rubbing his head, "wait a minute..."

After a long while, Harry opened his eyes, panting as he looked at Cohen and Ron.

“We need to find Professor Dumbledore—I know where Voldemort’s new Horcrux is.”

Upon arriving outside Dumbledore's office, the statue did not immediately allow them to enter.

"The principal is not here," the stone statue said lazily.

"When is he coming back?" Harry asked anxiously. "We have something very important to tell him."

"Maybe at noon, maybe in the afternoon, maybe tomorrow..." the statue said.

"It means you don't know either," Cohen said helplessly. "Looks like we'll have to wait—"

"Wait, he's back." The statue suddenly shook, then parted to reveal the spiral staircase behind it.

"..."

When Cohen, Harry, and Ron entered the office, Dumbledore looked like he had just returned; his boots were still covered in mud, which disappeared in the next second.

“I bet you have something very important to tell me,” Dumbledore said, noticing the excitement on Harry’s face. “After all, it’s Saturday; you should be enjoying your holiday—”

“Professor, I know where Voldemort hid his Horcruxes!” Harry exclaimed immediately. “In a forest, there’s a dead tree, and under it is a hole—he put a pocket watch in there—”

“Hmm…” Dumbledore narrowed his eyes. “Any other details, Harry?”

“Details…” Harry recalled, “Wait—Albania!”

"Did you hear him say the location?" Cohen asked.

“No, I just know—like the name just popped into his head…” Harry rubbed his temples, “and I remember Professor Dumbledore mentioning this place too—”

“Yes, Harry,” Dumbledore said. “For a long time after Voldemort’s first failure on you, he roamed the forests of Albania.”

"Why—I mean…why would the mysterious man choose Albania?" Ron asked, somewhat puzzled.

"Because Albania is the country and region's first choice."

Cohen shrugged.

“?”×3
“Well, you guys don’t understand Muggles at all.” Cohen shook his head. “He just wanted to find a deserted, remote place…”
