Chapter 583 The Tower Reversed
Chapter 583 The Tower Reversed
“He chose a place he thought was safe.” Dumbledore stroked his beard, his gaze lingering between Harry and Cohen. “A crucial clue, Harry. I think we may have a breakthrough.”
“So Professor—” Harry asked impatiently.
"Therefore, our next class will be scheduled for next Saturday," Dumbledore said.
“You mean…” Harry’s eyes lit up.
“I mean exactly what you think,” Dumbledore blinked. “And Cohen, you’d better be prepared too.”
After leaving Dumbledore's office, Ron looked at Cohen and then Harry with great envy.
"Dumbledore definitely wants to take you to destroy Mystic's Horcruxes—how cool is that?"
“What’s so cool about it? You might die anyway,” Cohen said nonchalantly.
“If we destroy this new Horcrux he made, will he just make a few more?” Harry suddenly asked.
“It’s highly unlikely,” Cohen said. “Didn’t you see it last time? Voldemort killed a bunch of people to make this new Horcrux—normally, one murder is enough to make one. This situation shows that his soul is so broken that it’s hard to even distinguish it.”
Cohen felt that Voldemort was becoming somewhat out of his mind—when something that used to be easy to do suddenly becomes impossible, a person's first reaction should be to check if there is something wrong with themselves, rather than frantically trying again and again.
It seems Dumbledore plans to take Harry and Cohen to find Voldemort's Horcrux hidden in Albania next Saturday.
This also means that Cohen needs to hurry up and fix the Vanishing Cabinet so that his amazing performance will have a bunch of Voldemort's side of the audience.
At the same time, we also need to inform Edward's side so that there are some decent people mixed in with the audience.

"What? Next Saturday!" Malfoy's eyes widened upon hearing Cohen's message. "But we're not ready—that cabinet—and how to deal with Dumbledore..."
“I’ve fixed the cabinet,” Cohen said. “I’ve also prepared the tools to deal with Dumbledore.”
With that, Cohen handed Malfoy a scroll of parchment covered with runes.
“Draw these things on the top of the North Tower and drop a Black Magic Mark in the sky.”
"What is this?" Malfoy asked.
“The rune that restricts Apparition—I’ll activate it when Dumbledore and the others return from outside, so Dumbledore can’t escape,” Cohen said. “Then you’ll confront him—”
“I definitely can’t beat him—” Malfoy said, trembling.
“Of course I know you can’t beat him,” Cohen said. “That’s why I’ll ambush him, understand?”
Although the runes were fake, and Dumbledore was fake, the plan to murder Dumbledore was real.
Cohen also sent Edward a letter, asking him to bring some men to capture the Death Eaters next Saturday...
Initially, Edward thought that Cohen's actions this time wouldn't be too different from the Ministry of Magic's, and that he might just be having a sudden whim to blow up the school...
"Do we need to bring anything?"
The weekend that Dumbledore had arranged with them arrived. In the dormitory, Harry nervously asked Cohen.
"Bring anything? You don't need to bring anything except your wand and yourself. Of course, you can bring the Invisibility Cloak, though. Dumbledore's here—but I think I'd better bring the trunk..." Cohen said.
Cohen thought for a moment, then picked up the suitcase.
After tonight, I will be living a life of wandering and poverty... At the very least, I need to bring all my belongings and a suitcase with a place to stay wherever I want. What kind of Dark Lord would be looking for hotels everywhere?
On their way to the principal's office, they ran into Professor Trelawney, who was being harassed by Lavender.
They were sitting under a statue, with a deck of cards lying around them.
“Professor! I really need this prophecy…” Lavender pleaded. “I just want to know if it’s possible… I feel like I’m just one step away from taking the first step…”
“My dear, I really want to help you…” Trelawney said in a sorrowful tone, “My third eye undoubtedly warned me three years ago—'Beware of the red-haired boy'…”
“Okay… Professor, okay…” Lavender sighed.
“However, it’s always better to give my favorite student a little help than to leave disappointed,” Trelawney said compassionately, before shuffling the cards under the statue again.
Harry wanted to urge Cohen to hurry up and pulled out the Invisibility Cloak from his pocket, but Cohen, quite curious, hid around the corner.
“I’d like to hear it,” Cohen said.
“Your own predictions are far more accurate than hers!” Harry said in a low voice.
Cohen didn't answer, he just shook his head.
“Hmm… The Tower reversed—” Trelawney flipped through the cards one by one, muttering to himself, “The towering tower was struck by lightning and destroyed, and two people fell from the collapsing top to the ground—unfortunate, so unfortunate…”
Lavender let out a sob.
“Let’s look at the next card…” Trelawney seemed to enjoy the intimidation, turning over another card, “Still reversed, the King of Wands—a dark path, doubt, misunderstanding, and high risk of failure—”
Lavender burst into tears.
“Darling, I think you should change your target.” Trelawney patted Lavender on the back and said, “This is what I always say, an overly bright third eye is often a burden…”
“Let’s go,” Cohen said to Harry.
Harry was wearing the Invisibility Cloak, and Cohen could now become invisible on his own, so they easily slipped past Lavender and Trelawney.
Lavender kept talking to Trelawney about "that boy" she had feelings for.
"It sounds more and more like Ron," Harry said oddly after walking a distance. "Are there any other red-haired boys in Gryffindor?"
“Then she has no chance at all,” Cohen said. “Ron is always with Hermione.”
“So Trelawney actually made an accurate prediction this time,” Harry laughed. “But she interprets all the outcomes terribly—the odds are fifty-fifty, I suppose.”
“I think this time it’s accurate,” Cohen said.
Harry clearly didn't understand what Cohen meant and thought he was talking about the relationship between Lavender and Ron, so he shook his head.
Upon arriving at Dumbledore's office, Dumbledore had already donned a simple black robe, ready for his journey.
This was a flesh puppet that Korn lent to Dumbledore, while the real Dumbledore used a Disillusionment Charm to become invisible beside him, and winked at Korn from a place where Harry couldn't see him.
"Are you ready?" Dumbledore asked Cohen and Harry.
