Chapter 26: Frank Meeting
"Hey! Gwen!"

Yang Le was sitting under a parasol outside the restaurant and greeted Gwen who had just crossed the street.

"Good morning, harpy." Gwen yawned after returning the greeting, obviously not having had a good rest.

"Didn't you sleep well?" Yang Le looked at Gwen who sat next to him and ate the fries in her set meal without any courtesy.

"How can I sleep well?" Gwen sighed, looked around, and then approached Yang Le and spoke in a low voice.

"I'm so scared now. I'm afraid I'll turn into a monster. And to make matters worse, I have to figure out how to explain to my dad that I pulled the door handle off."

"That was really a disaster." Yang Le expressed sympathy, but the corners of his mouth couldn't help but rise when he saw Gwen clenching his fists.

"Wo wo wo, be careful." Yang Le looked at Gwen's small pink fist and quickly raised his hands in surrender. "You can really kill me with one punch now."

"Sigh~" Gwen sighed and lowered her fist. "Okay, stop being funny, harpy. Do you really have any solution for my situation?"

"Of course we have this." Yang Le finished the burger in no time. After wiping his mouth, he stood up and motioned Gwen to follow him.

"Where are we going?" Gwen asked, following behind Yang Le.

"my home."

"Your home?" Gwen was stunned when she heard it. To be honest, she had never been to Yang Le's home after knowing him for such a long time, and she didn't even know which street he lived on.

"Why are we going to your house?"

"You'll know when you get here."

Faced with the mysterious Yang Le, Gwen had no choice but to follow him obediently.

Yang Le took Gwen through several streets and came to an alley, and finally stopped in front of a manhole cover in the alley.

"Why are you here? Didn't you say we were going to your house?" Gwen looked at Yang Le in confusion.

"This is the front door of my house." Yang Le stepped on the manhole cover under his feet.

"Hobby, I'm not in the mood to joke right now." Gwen's tone was a little stiff, and she obviously didn't believe what Yang Le said.

Without further explanation, Yang Le simply removed the manhole cover, revealing the ladder inside.

"Follow me and you'll know if I'm joking. By the way, remember to put the manhole cover back in place after you climb down."

After Yang Le finished speaking, he climbed down the ladder. Gwen looked at Yang Le climbing down, hesitated for a while, and then followed him down, covering the manhole cover.

When she entered the sewer, Gwen was prepared for the stench, but she found that the sewer was cleaner than she thought.

Not long after walking, Yang Le brought Gwen to the gate of the base and entered the password to unlock it as usual. Under Gwen's shocked eyes, the door of the secret base opened.

"Come in." Yang Le was very satisfied with Gwen's shocked expression. He walked in first, and Gwen followed behind in a daze.

"Okay, ma'am, please allow me to introduce my home to you!" Yang Le opened the last security door, and the full picture of the base appeared in front of Gwen.

"Wow!" Gwen looked at the facilities in the base in shock. Although they were messy, they all revealed a sense of technology.

"Happi, are you some kind of secret agent?"

"Agent? Of course I'm not."

Yang Le directly denied Gwen's guess and dropped a bombshell piece of news before Gwen could say anything else.

"Actually, I'm from another world."

"Another-worldly person?" Gwen looked at Yang Le in disbelief. "Do you know about the multiverse?" Yang Le asked as he turned on the projection, and a fist-sized Earth was projected between them.

"In addition to the universe we live in now, there are countless universes similar to the ones we know."

Yang Le pointed his index finger at the projected earth, and in an instant, the earth suddenly split into hundreds of pieces, surrounding Yang Le and Gwen.

Gwen looked at the blue planets surrounding her and couldn't help but grab one of them. Although she didn't have the physical feeling of holding it, the planet was still moving with her hand.

"The universes contained in the multiverse are called parallel universes, and I come from other parallel universes."

Yang Le walked towards Gwen holding a projected earth in his hand. Gwen also held a projected earth in her hand and looked at Yang Le at the same time.

"For some special reasons, I came to this universe from my universe."

Yang Le threw the projected earth towards Gwen lightly. Under Gwen's gaze, the thrown earth slowly merged with the earth in his hand. Then, hundreds of surrounding earths also gathered in Gwen's hand and merged into one again.

"Cool!" Gwen looked at the projected earth in her hand in amazement, then turned her gaze to Yang Le.

"So, harpy, you really are from another world?"

"It's genuine." Yang Le spread his hands like a band conductor.

"So, Hobby, are you going to use your high-tech from another world to solve my problems?" Gwen looked at Yang Le expectantly.

"This is the Gwen I'm going to talk about next." Yang Le raised his left hand to reveal the Omnitrix on it.

"Actually, you're not the only one with special abilities."

After saying that, Yang Le pressed the button of the Omnitrix. The dazzling white light that followed made Gwen unable to open her eyes. When the white light dissipated, Gwen opened her eyes again and found that a familiar tall red figure had replaced Yang Le and was standing in front of her.

"This...this." Gwen looked at the four-armed overlord who suddenly appeared in shock.

"You're the four-armed weirdo who showed up at the expo. Why are you here? Where's Harpy?"

"Calm down Gwen." Yang Le, who had turned into the Four-Handed Overlord, was too tall, so he had to sit on the ground to talk to Gwen.

"I am the Harpy, this is my ability, I can transform."

After Yang Le finished speaking, in order to make Gwen believe him, he touched the transformation button again. With a flash of white light, Yang Le turned back into an ordinary human being.

"So you were the one who defeated that Rhino? No wonder the police couldn't find you after you left. It turns out you were right under our noses the whole time, you just changed your appearance."

Gwen rolled her eyes at Yang Le angrily, feeling that she had worried for nothing, and couldn't help but say something sarcastic.

"You've been so busy, Mr. Clark."

"There's no way. If I told you at the beginning that I could transform into the Four-Armed Overlord, you definitely wouldn't believe me. Now I've told you. By the way, the Four-Armed Overlord is the name of the alien I just transformed into. Isn't it cool?" Yang Le heard Gwen's complaint, and it seemed that she was dissatisfied with something she had concealed from him.

"Let's not discuss that for now. You didn't tell me before, so why are you suddenly planning to tell me now? Is it because I also have superpowers?" Gwen asked puzzledly.

"That's what I'm going to say next." Yang Le straightened his expression.

"Just like I said before, the multiverse is made up of countless parallel universes, and among countless parallel universes, there are always several similarities. Gwen, you are one of them."

Yang Le said as he turned on the projection again. This time, what was projected was not the earth, but a symbol, a symbol Gwen had never seen before, which looked like a spider.

"Am I one of them?"

"That's right, Spider-Man."
