A farming master in Stardew Valley

Chapter 49 This is not a game, but reality
Seeing Leon's thoughtful look, Jody thought Leon was embarrassed, so he changed the subject and reminded Leon: "Aren't you going to join the girls' chat?"
“No plans.” Leon shook his head. “I even want to go back and rest early.”
Upon hearing this, Jody glared at Leon and complained dissatisfiedly: "What are you talking about? Why don't you seize such a good opportunity?"
"Is there a possibility that I don't have these thoughts at all now?" Leon asked Jody with a raised eyebrow.
"Huh?" Jody was confused by Leon's words. It took him a long time to react. Just as he was about to say something, he saw Leon stand up.
"Thank you for the invitation, Ms. Jody. The dinner was wonderful."
After speaking to Jody, Leon turned to look at the girls who had cast their glances at him when they saw him stand up and said, "I'll leave first. Pretty girls, you can continue your women's night. I hope you have a good time."
After saying that, Leon waved goodbye to everyone, gave Jodie an apologetic smile, and left the room in a cool manner.
It was said to be a dinner party, but in fact it was a blind date meeting, and the meeting was kept secret from the participants, which made Leon feel very unhappy.
When all this is based on the premise that the elders are anxious about the future of their juniors, the dinner party loses the relaxed and joyful atmosphere it should have.
Jordi is indeed a good person, the girls are also excellent, and he is a man with normal needs, but finding a girlfriend is not in his plan now, because the capital that Lyon has now is not enough to support his ambitions.
That's why he left so decisively. If he stayed any longer, besides not wanting to make the atmosphere more awkward, Leon was more afraid that he would play both sides and thus expose his cunning nature, making these girls wary.
He is not a person who follows the rules, and the politeness and friendliness he showed when he first arrived was also to better integrate into the place.
Stardew Valley was once the paradise he longed for amidst his busy work. Although there were some strange events interspersed in the game plot, it still brought many good memories to Lyon, who was under great pressure in the impetuous society.
But when all this became a reality, those NPCs became living people with flesh and blood, their own thoughts and cognition.
Then some inevitable situations also appeared before Lyon's eyes.
For example, Pam fell drunk at the door of the bar with no one to help her, Jodie's Hongmen Banquet, all the bachelors in the town have found their partners, and Haley was isolated, etc., these are all scenes that would be impossible to appear in the game.
What happened tonight made Leon realize that he had to get to know the world again.
The real world has so many changes. This world is no longer like in the game, running according to a fixed program.
Then Lyon's original inertial thinking also needs to be changed accordingly.
Accompanied by the moonlight, Leon returned to his farm. He had thought a lot along the way and now he just felt a little dizzy. A good and refreshing high-quality sleep was what he needed most now.
However, he did not rush to sleep. Instead, he sat on the wooden steps at the door and looked at the plants in the moonlight.
Although other changes are hard to accept, what makes Lyon happy is that at least the farm now belongs to him and this fact has not changed.
"Welcome to Stardew Valley, welcome to Red Star Farm."
Lyon muttered to himself as he looked at the silent farm, then he looked up at the bright full moon in the sky. With a satisfied smile, he returned to the room, took off his coat, and lay down on the slightly narrow single bed. It didn't take long for him to fall asleep.
The next day, the sun rose as usual. Leon, already accustomed to an early-rising body clock, opened his eyes the moment the sun's rays streamed through the window onto his bedside. After a quick wash, Leon didn't immediately leave the house to water the crops as he had done before. Instead, he selected breakfast ingredients from the refrigerator and added the bread Abigail had brought him yesterday. He first made his own breakfast before beginning to water the plants in the field.
Lyon didn't want to experience the hungry working scene yesterday again, and the thoughts he had on his way home last night also made him decide to change his lifestyle.
Being nicer to yourself, putting more effort and investment into the farm, being vigilant towards others, and using your own judgment on some matters may make your life in Stardew Valley easier and better.
After watering the plants on the cultivated fields, Leon glanced at the time on his watch and found that it was not yet time for lunch, so he cleaned the mud on his hands and trouser legs and came to the shipping box.
When I opened the shipping box, it was still empty. The money I got in exchange for the green onions I sent out yesterday did not appear in the shipping box.
However, Leon was not worried, but turned his attention to the mailbox next to the shipping box.
When he opened the box, there was indeed a letter inside, but the name written on the envelope was not Lewis as he expected, but Jody.
Leon opened the envelope, took a look at the contents inside, then crumpled it up and threw it into the fire pit he had set up not far from the wooden house. He would burn it while cooking at noon, so he didn't have to go out of his way to find a trash can.
It’s not that the content of the letter was particularly annoying. In this letter, Jody only wrote greetings and some interesting things that happened at the dinner party after Leon left yesterday, to fill the gap in his memory after Leon left.
The reason why he didn't keep it but planned to burn it was simply because Leon felt that the letter was not worth keeping.
Lyon didn't care about how the party developed afterwards, nor did he care about Jody's greetings. What Lyon cared about was whether Jody realized that he would not cooperate with the "good things" in the eyes of these so-called elders.
Obviously, Jody didn't notice this, so in Leon's eyes, the letter was just a completely meaningless piece of waste paper.
After doing all this, Lyon acted as if nothing had happened. He would probably have to wait a few days for the expected payment, and it would not be received immediately like in the game, so Lyon returned to the room and turned on the TV.
After all, this is the only form of entertainment that Lyon can enjoy without leaving home.
Although the program seemed a bit outdated in Leon's eyes, it did not make Leon feel bored, especially the young lady responsible for reporting the local news was very beautiful and had a nice voice.
When it was time for lunch, Leon turned off the TV and started preparing lunch. After simply filling his stomach, Leon rummaged around in the room and found the bamboo fishing rod given by Willy. He put it on his shoulder and left the farm.
After all, there isn't much that can be done on the farm right now, except watering the plants and perhaps clearing the rubble and trees that are growing uncontrollably on the farm.
However, these are not what Lyon wants to do for the time being. The cleared space now is enough for his own use.
It would cost a lot of money to make the farm what he planned. Before the crops matured, the only way Lyon could think of was to go fishing.
Although wild collection can make money, Leon, who has already had a rough walk around Stardew Valley, doesn't think that these naturally grown wild collectibles will be randomly refreshed every other day like in the game.
After all, this is not a game, but reality.
I have been secretly observing everyone's comments recently, and one thing really concerns me. Some friends said that the plot is too bland. I think it is quite right, so in the future, I will change my style a little bit.
