Chapter 111 This is Ms. Su Wan!

"Hello, Dao Dao," Jiang Yuan said gently. "Could you come out and talk to me? I'll treat you to a big meal later."

"Are you only asking me for one ant?" Dao Dao asked.

Jiang Yuan smiled and said, "I'll treat all of you ants to a big meal."

Dao Dao was very satisfied with the answer. It climbed to the mouth of the bottle, peered around, and finally locked its gaze on Jiang Yuan.

Dao Dao said shyly, "I'm sorry, we ants don't have very good eyesight."

Jiang Yuan nodded understandingly: "It's okay, Dao Dao, what happened that night when you were disturbed while having a late-night snack?"

"This is what happened," Dao Dao recalled.

That night was pitch black, the moon was shrouded in dark clouds, and Su Mei and Kang Chengye were arguing in the garden.

"Why are you so vicious?" Kang Chengye grabbed Su Mei by the neck, his eyes bloodshot, gritting his teeth. "Su Wan is your cousin, how could you do this?"

Su Mei was having difficulty breathing, and her cheeks were flushed.

She stared at Kang Chengye, whose face was full of anger, and sneered, "Me, vicious? Kang Chengye, put your hand on your heart and tell me, are you more ruthless, or am I more vicious? You forced me to do all this!"

"You..." Kang Chengye was furious, tightening his grip on her neck. "Su Mei, you're asking for death!"

“Then kill me,” Su Mei said defiantly, raising her chin. “Kill me to avenge the woman you love, and let everyone in Yunjing know that your wife killed the one you love, and you killed your wife!”

For a fleeting moment, Kang Chengye really wanted to kill Su Mei.

He angrily threw her to the ground and roared in a low voice, "You poisoned someone to death, how are you going to clean this up now?"

"That's not something I should be worrying about," Su Mei said with a sneer. "You figure out how to handle this yourself."

After saying that, she got up from the ground, dusted herself off, turned around and walked into the main building of the villa, leaving Kang Chengye with a face full of anger.

He paced back and forth irritably, his gaze finally settling on the flowerbed beside him.

Kang Chengye breathed a sigh of relief, turned around and walked into the villa. He told several servants to leave, moved the flowers out of the flower bed, and dug out the soil.

He turned back to Su Wan's room and saw the pale, lifeless woman lying on the bed. A look of sorrow appeared in his eyes.

Kang Chengye squatted down in front of the bed, held the woman's hand, and whispered, "Wanwan, I'm sorry, it's my fault."

Su Mei stood at the doorway watching this scene, her eyes filled with sarcasm: "You're so sentimental."

Kang Chengye's face instantly darkened. "Su Mei, stop being sarcastic!"

Su Mei's lips curled up in a smug smile as she said, "What can you do to me? Go ahead and call the police to arrest me, let everyone know that I killed someone because of you."

"Get out!" Kang Chengye shouted angrily.

Su Mei scoffed and turned to leave.

Kang Chengye looked at Su Wan for a long time before finally picking her up with reluctance.

He carried Su Wan to the flower bed, put her in it, buried her in the soil with red eyes, and replanted flowers.

After listening to what Xiao Ant Dao Dao said, Jiang Yuan said softly, "We overlooked the flower bed that day."

“Su Mei is so enthusiastic because she’s worried we’ll discover their secret,” Si Heng analyzed in a deep voice. “She wants to mislead us and make us dispel our suspicions about her.”

Jiang Yuan said to the little ant Dao Dao, "Thank you, Dao Dao. What do you and your friends want to eat?"

Little ant Daodao and his friends excitedly discussed, "We want to eat honey and sugar water."

“Okay.” Jiang Yuan told Si Heng to stop at the nearest convenience store or supermarket. “I’ll buy some food for the little ants.”

Si Heng: "Okay."

Jiang Yuan bought food for the ants and then released them back into the wild.

She and Si Heng returned to the police station and held a meeting with their colleagues to discuss the matter.

**
Su Mei returned to the villa, where the maid told her that Jiang Yuan had come by with her boyfriend earlier that day.

She glanced at the gift box on the coffee table and said casually, "What did she say?" The maid then explained the situation in detail.

Su Mei said "Oh," raised her hand to rub her neck, and got up to go upstairs.

The next morning, Si Heng and his colleagues from the criminal investigation team arrived at Su Mei's villa again.

They were wearing uniforms, and the servants couldn't help but look a little flustered when they saw them.

She stepped forward and asked, "Officers, is there anything I can help you with?"

Si Heng's expression was cold: "Are Su Mei and Kang Chengye at home?"

The maid answered truthfully, "Madam is at home; Master has not returned."

Si Heng presented his identification and search warrant, stating, "Based on the police investigation, we suspect that Ms. Su Mei committed the murder, and Kang Chengye was responsible for hiding the body as an accomplice."

The maid looked shocked: "This...how is this possible?"

Si Heng didn't say much to her, and directly raised his hand to signal the team members to take action.

The criminal investigation team took out their tools and began to clean up the flowers in the flower bed.

The maid froze for a few seconds, then quickly turned and rushed into the main building of the villa.

"What?" Su Mei's lipstick fell onto the dressing table with a thud, her pupils shrinking and her face filled with disbelief.

They actually found out?
Su Mei was in a state of panic, but she tried her best to remain calm.

She took a deep breath, put on her coat, and hurried downstairs.

The flowers in the flower bed where Su Wan was buried had been moved out, and Su Mei felt a throbbing pain in her temples.

"What are you doing?" She strode forward and blocked the police team, her tone unfriendly. "These are flowers I've carefully cultivated. How can you do this to me?"

Si Heng glanced at her and warned in a low voice, "Ms. Su Mei, this is a search warrant. Please do not obstruct the police's work."

"My flowers!" Su Mei cried out in despair, "You've ruined my flowers!"

"You can't do this!" she shouted, jumping into the flowerbed. "Who gave you permission to touch my flowers?"

Si Heng said with a half-smile, "Are you worried about your flowers, or are you afraid that Su Wan in the flower bed will be discovered?"

"W-what are you talking about?" Su Mei's eyes flickered, feigning confusion. "I have no idea what you're talking about."

Si Heng: "Ms. Su Mei has fallen. Please help her up."

“Okay, we’ll help Ms. Su right away.” Meng Xiaokai and Chen Ziqi immediately understood and worked together to lift Su Mei out of the flower bed.

"Let me go!" Su Mei struggled and screamed, "Don't touch my flower bed!"

The maid looked on in astonishment; it was the first time she had ever seen her mistress so out of control.

Meng Xiaokai helped Su Mei up, while Chen Ziqi continued to dig soil from the flower bed with his colleagues.

Soon, a human hand emerged from the soil.

"Ah!" the maid cried out in terror.

As the soil in the flower bed decreased, a pale, bluish-white corpse was gradually exposed to the air.

"This is..." The maid covered her mouth in disbelief.

This is Ms. Su Wan!

Seeing this, Su Mei closed her eyes in anguish.

Si Heng turned to look at her and asked sternly, "Ms. Su Mei, why is there a corpse under the flowers you have so carefully cultivated?"

Su Mei pursed her lips and said slowly, "How would I know? I only found out now that there was a corpse in the flower bed."
