Chapter 56 Laughing Out Loud
Hearing the kitten's fierce meows, Xi Xi tilted her head up to look at Jiang Yuan, and said with a wronged expression, "Sister, King Kong is being mean to me again! It must hate me!"

"Let me talk to it." Jiang Yuan squatted down next to Xi Xi, lowered her head slightly, and looked down at the kitten under the bed.

In the dim light, the cat's eyes gleamed with a faint light.

Jiang Yuan tentatively spoke up: "Jin Gang, hello, I'm Jiang Yuan."

The moment the words left her mouth, the kitten immediately began meowing angrily, "Stop meowing! Stop meowing! You annoying two-legged creatures!"

The kitten's reaction was a bit over the top, and Jiang Yuan frowned slightly, finding it strange. "King Kong, why do you find two-legged creatures annoying?"

Xi Xi blinked her eyes, her chubby little face full of confusion and curiosity.

What is a two-legged animal?

"Ugh! I told you not to meow, but you still did!" the kitten said angrily. "If you meow again, I'll bite you!"

The kitten slowly peeked out from under the bed, its eyes, hidden in the darkness, now exposed to the light, looking both cute and fierce.

It's an adorable golden shaded cat.

Having been scolded by the kitten several times, Xixi was already traumatized and hid behind Jiang Yuan in fear.

No shouting?
Jiang Yuan narrowed her eyes slightly, pondered for a moment, and a faint understanding appeared in her eyes.

She probably guessed what would drive the kitten to despair.

Her lips moved slightly: "King Kong?"

"Ahhh, don't make a sound!" the kitten cried fiercely.

Jiang Yuan raised an eyebrow slightly and mischievously called out again, "King Kong."

"Aaaaaah, I'm going to bite you!" The kitten bristled, its body tense and arched, its eyes fierce, looking ready to attack at any moment.

"Sister, should we go out first?" Xi Xi asked, her little body trembling with fear of being bitten by the kitten.

She didn't know why King Kong had become so fierce; it was such a clingy kitten when it first came to her home.

The next day, I woke up to find the sky had fallen!
Waaah, I should have stayed up that day!
Jiang Yuan glanced at the kitten, a smile spreading across her eyes: "Don't you like this name?"

"Who would like such an awful name!" the kitten yelled, then suddenly froze. Its round eyes lost their anger and were filled with confusion as it realized something.

"Huh, you two-legged creature, you can understand me?"

"Yes, I understand," Jiang Yuan said softly. "Can you tell me why you suddenly stopped talking to Xixi and even yelled at her?"

"I really liked the two-legged cub!" the kitten explained, even feeling aggrieved. "But she broke my heart by giving me such an awful name. If other cats knew I had a monkey's name, they'd laugh their heads off!"

"I'm the prettiest kitten in our litter!" Calling me King Kong is really too much!

Jiang Yuan knew it was impolite, but she couldn't help but laugh out loud, "Pfft—"

Xi Xi's chubby little face was full of confusion: "Sister, what are you laughing at?"

"Look, look!" the little kitten cried, both aggrieved and angry. "Even you're laughing at me! Ahhh, I'm going to bite you!"

It bared its teeth and charged at Jiang Yuan with its short, clumsy legs, but was lifted up before it could even take a bite.

Jiang Yuan held it in her hands and coaxed it with a smile, "Don't be angry, my good kitty. I'm here to solve your problem."

Up close, the kitten's nose twitched slightly. Smelling the comforting scent emanating from her, its bristling fur instantly calmed down, and it became less fierce.

It asked, sounding aggrieved, "How do we solve this?"

"If you don't like the name King Kong, then change it." It's that simple.

Upon hearing this, Xi Xi asked curiously in her soft, sweet voice, "Doesn't King Kong like this name? Why? It sounds really nice!"

The kitten immediately retorted, "If it doesn't sound good, then you can use the nicer words yourself!"

Jiang Yuan couldn't suppress the upward curve of her lips. She chuckled and said, "Xi Xi, if it were you, would you be willing to use the name King Kong?"

Xi Xi's eyes widened, and she shook her head like a rattle drum. "No, I'm a girl!" Jiang Yuan said patiently, "But the kitten is also a girl. The reason it's angry and ignoring you is because you gave it a boy's name."

"Ah...do kittens have to be named according to whether they are boys or girls?" Xi Xi was extremely surprised.

“Yes.” Jiang Yuan nodded. “How about we change its name?”

Xi Xi obediently replied, "Okay!"

Jiang Yuan then asked the kitten, "What kind of name do you want?"

"Give it a sweet name!" is a vain little kitten.

After thinking for a moment, Jiang Yuan suggested, "Can we call it Candy? Candy is very sweet."

"Candy..." The kitten's eyes lit up instantly, and it nodded its little head vigorously. "I like this name! I'll be called Candy from now on!"

Jiang Yuan turned to the human cub and asked, "Xi Xi, can we name the kitten Candy from now on?"

Is it a name the cat likes?

"Correct."

Xi Xi looked at the kitten and apologized softly, "Candy, I'm sorry, I didn't know you didn't like that name."

Candy was a clever little kitten. Knowing that her little owner didn't mean to bully her, she meowed softly, "It's okay."

Xi Xi turned to look at Jiang Yuan, waiting for the translation.

Jiang Yuan: "Candy said it's okay."

Xi Xi breathed a sigh of relief and asked cautiously, "Candy, can I hug you now?"

Candy meowed.

of course can.

Jiang Yuan placed the kitten in Xi Xi's arms.

Candy immediately rubbed her cat head against her little owner's face.

With Jiang Yuan's help, the human cub and the kitten made peace.

Rong Yue was shocked to see Tang Guo nestled obediently in her daughter's arms.

She initially thought her husband was joking, but it turned out to be true.

Jiang Yuan was able to tame the kitten in just a few minutes after entering the room.

"Yuan Yuan, what's the situation with King Kong?" Rong Yue couldn't help but ask.

Candy, nestled in her little owner's arms, suddenly stiffened.

Xi Xi turned to look at her mother, a serious expression creeping onto her face: "Mom, candy is called candy now, not King Kong. You can't say that anymore!"

Jiang Yuan briefly explained why Tangguo was throwing a tantrum.

Rong Yue looked on in astonishment, "She's actually dissatisfied with her own name..."

Jiang Yuan chuckled and said, "Actually, most animals have their own thoughts."

“No wonder they say many animals have a spirit.” Rong Yue nodded. “It seems I need to be more careful in the future.”

Ten minutes later, Jiang Yuan prepared to leave, but Rong Yue earnestly invited her to stay for dinner.

Xi Xi tugged at her clothes, and Tang Guo clung to her trouser leg, acting cute and trying not to let her leave.

Jiang Yuan was both amused and exasperated. Just as she was about to agree, her cell phone rang in her pocket.

When she saw the name "Gu Yiwei" on the caller ID, she was slightly taken aback and almost couldn't remember who this person was.
