Infinite Terror: Infinite Reversal

Chapter 139 Deep Erosion

Chapter 139 Deep Erosion
This is not the Zero Gauss sniper rifle... or rather, this is the Gauss sniper rifle that Sutter Kane thought it was.

Although Mu Xiang no longer studies physics, he hasn't forgotten the basic knowledge he learned in junior high school.

Most firearms have muzzle velocities exceeding the speed of sound, let alone Gauss sniper rifles. How could one possibly hear the gunshot before being shot?
So the moment Mu Xiang heard the sound of Gauss's sniper rifle, he was certain that the zero point had also been written by Sutter Kane. And there was absolutely no need to dodge this shot; this level of fire posed no threat to Mu Xiang whatsoever.

What concerned him was Zheng Zha. The strength of the Zheng Zha in front of him had suddenly increased several times over. Although he was still no match for the real Zheng Zha, the increase in strength could not be ignored.

Did Zheng Zha use his abilities outside?

Another shot rang out. Mu Xiang reached out and caught the bullet, which was all show and no substance, then flicked his wrist and tossed it back. A loud bang followed, and the sound of someone falling to the ground came from a rooftop in the distance.

"That mental fluctuation at midnight has disappeared..." Zhan Lan thought to herself.

Mu Xiang chuckled inwardly, never expecting that the room he assigned based on intuition would actually turn out to be a room full of traitors.

At that moment, Zheng Zha unleashed a burst of red flames. Mu Xiang twisted his body slightly and appeared behind Zheng Zha. The moment his hand touched the back of Zheng Zha's neck, a burst of red flames swept along his hand.

Zheng Zha groaned and dodged quickly, but was seriously injured by Mu Xiang's touch.

Mu Xiang wasn't in a hurry. He didn't even use his Limitless Sword Qi, yet ripples flashed across his arm. With a slight tremor of his arm, he extinguished the crimson flames.

【What happened outside? 】

Zheng Zha unfurled his bat wings, his eyes vacant. At the same time, the crimson flames deepened in color, and the temperature continued to rise. He reached up and twisted his neck, healing the severe injury Mu Xiang had previously inflicted.

"They even managed to mimic the third-order gene lock..." Mu Xiang smiled.

Although the Zheng Zha before them hadn't unleashed even half of the true Zheng Zha's power, he still exhibited characteristics of a third-tier gene lock and a vampire marquis. Even if it was merely a facade, it indicated that Zheng Zha might have used these abilities outside.

Mu Xiang knew that if he delayed any longer, a Zheng Zha of equal combat power might appear before him. But seeing that this Zheng Zha had skipped the second-tier gene lock and directly entered the third tier, Mu Xiang felt somewhat relieved.

It wasn't a waste of trust in Zheng Zha! Zheng Zha has probably already simulated his own thoughts and is handling the situation outside, right?
Mu Xiang thought to himself, thankfully this guy isn't really brainless... Then, he threw a punch, creating a gust of wind and a roar, and when he reappeared, he was already behind Zheng Zha.

Behind him, the seemingly perfect Zheng Zha was suddenly severed in two, his flesh and blood, enveloped in chaotic vampire energy, scattering in all directions. Surprisingly, after being shattered by a single punch, this flesh and blood, under the influence of the vampire energy, showed a faint tendency to coalesce. It was unclear whether this was Zheng Zha's ability gradually being projected into this world within the book, or simply a characteristic of the monsters within it.

But before this self-healing mechanism could take effect, a burst of sword energy shot into the sky from the spot, annihilating Zheng Zha, his flesh and blood, and the vampire energy together.

“Zheng Zha should already be able to regenerate with the help of red flames... Your method is too outdated.” Mu Xiang looked at the distant church with a mocking expression. “I’ll have to test Zheng Zha’s self-healing ability when we get back.”

Then he arrived at the church and glanced at the sign that read "Warning".

"Anyone who dares to enter this evil place will be cursed forever."

Mu Xiang kicked the church door open and immediately saw another door with an inverted cross hanging high at the end of his field of vision.

Looking through the door with X-ray vision, Mu Xiang was not surprised to find that there was nothing behind it, just like the first time he looked out of the car when he arrived.

The moment they entered the church, the mental chains between Mu Xiang and Zhan Lan broke. The world-building in "The Terrifying Black Hole" is indeed like a nested doll; beyond the tunnel lies the town of Hobbes in another world, and within the church lies yet another world.

Fortunately, Mu Xiang had already given Zhan Lan some instructions. With Zhan Lan's protection and Qi Tengyi's various methods, they were still quite safe in Hobbs Town at the moment.

Of course, this is all predicated on nothing major happening in Hobbes Town… and that depends on how well Mu Xiang performs in the church. [The longer it goes on, the more unpredictable it becomes, both within the town and outside…]

"Let's fight quickly."

Mu Xiang muttered to himself, then with a flick of his left hand, the dark red "Necronomicon" appeared in his grasp.

Without any unnecessary movements, Mu Xiang directly flipped the book to the manuscript of "The Trembling Black Hole".

Mu Xiang had long suspected that even the same manuscript could have different contents depending on the person who wrote it…

For example, Sutter Kane's agent saw that Trent would bring back the manuscript, leading to future destruction, so he attacked Trent, inadvertently drawing him into the conspiracy. Linda, however, saw something different; she was unaware of the consequences, yet she still smoothly carried out Sutter Kane's plan.

At this moment, Mu Xiang saw the fate of this world and the Central Continent Team.

He rubbed his eyes, but couldn't hide the bloodshot veins and madness within them. Mu Xiang felt an invasion more intense than with any book he had ever read before. He first read the manuscript in a low voice, then his tone grew increasingly louder.

Finally, Mu Xiang heard his voice chanting in a distorted tone.

“I will return the wisdom that God gave me, and I will become the forerunner of the Holy Spirit’s journey.”

"I offer my most perfect body to the Holy Spirit, and I conquer the widest territory for God."

"I receive divine decrees from the divine kingdom, I spread heavenly messages throughout the myriad worlds, I deliver divine pronouncements to the mortal realm..."

Finally, Mu Xiang saw the scene behind the door, and saw the man sitting there typing on a typewriter.

Mu Xiang's face twitched twice, then he broke into a maniacal smile.

He strode toward the door and pushed it open.

Sutter Kane sat behind the table, looked up at Mu Xiang, and gestured for him to come forward with a seductive expression.

The bloodshot in Mu Xiang's eyes faded, and his madness was replaced by bewilderment. He adjusted his glasses and looked at Sutter Kane:

Should I step in with my left foot or my right foot?

Sutter Kane glanced down at the manuscript, then smiled slightly: "Left foot."

Mu Xiang shrugged: "But you wrote the right foot."

The next moment, Mu Xiang stepped forward with his left foot and stood in front of Sart Kane: "You don't really think... as an agent who has acquired some abilities, you can control my behavior, do you?"

A sword strike ripped off half of Sutter Kane's head, revealing another strange face on the back of his head.

"Let your master come out and talk to me!"

Here's the first chapter; I'll post the second chapter after I finish eating.
