Chapter 25 The Final Battle
Zhang Jie was taken aback: "A steel pipe?"

"Bingo!" Mu Xiang mimicked his catchphrase. "If you trust me, why don't you go wait over there on that steel pipe... The train finally came to a stop, and James signaled everyone to be quiet so that they could easily identify the location of the Lickers.

A minute later, some people started moving impatiently. Mu Xiang cursed inwardly, but said nothing.

James suddenly turned to him and said, "There's a sound!"

Mu Xiang got into the zone again, gripping the rifle he'd taken from JD, and walked around the access door on the ground to James's side: "What's going on? I didn't hear you."

James frowned and said, "It was a very soft sound, unlike the sound of it moving on the roof earlier."

Li Xiaoyi complained, "Why don't we just go out? Staying here is more dangerous. What if there are more Lickers chasing us?"

Just then, the sound of metal being torn apart rang out, and familiar claws ripped open the side door of the carriage and jumped in!
[Damn, that's just a decoy!]

Mu Xiang reacted the fastest, opening fire directly on the Lickers that rushed in. Those with guns followed suit, and the Licker dodged aside, forcing the others back. Although it didn't hit anyone, it wasn't seriously injured either.

"Don't use the flashbang directly on this one, watch its position!" James shouted, taking a few steps forward and initiating suppressive fire once again. With the others providing cover, the Licker couldn't touch him once he stepped forward.

The Licker was already injured and could not forcefully attack anyone, so it could only use its intimidation to force the people in the carriage back, creating more space for itself to move.

James stood on the sliding door, observing the Licker's movements, ready to fire at its vitals at any moment. If they could just stop the thing, the concentrated fire of so many guns would easily destroy its exposed brain.

Matt's voice suddenly rang out: "Hey, what are you doing!"

Mu Xiang turned his head and saw that Spence, who was unattended, had quietly moved to the side of the driver's seat. There was a red button there—this button appeared more than once in the movie, and its function was to... open and close the sliding door!

"Stop him!" Mu Xiang shouted, but with most of the carriage between them, it was impossible for him to accurately hit Spence with his rifle.

Ryan turned his gun and shot Spencer in the leg. The man's face contorted in pain, and he fell backward, crashing into the button.

The next moment, James lost his balance and was about to fall through the suddenly opened sliding door. At that moment, Ryan's gun was no longer aimed at the Licker. This keen hunter immediately broke through the bullet's trajectory and pounced into the defensive line without resistance, his target being James, who was still in mid-air!

All James could do in the end was fire, but the bullets were inaccurate and did nothing to suppress the enemy.

Mu Xiang aimed at the Licker, trying to create some obstruction. However, Mu Xiang had never received professional training; his most relevant experience was scoring 58 points out of 6 shots in military training... Therefore, almost none of his bullets hit their mark, and the few that did hit were on the Licker's body, causing no real pain. Fortunately, the Licker had already forced back the people behind it, so no stray bullets injured anyone.

Taking advantage of the obstruction, James endured the pain in his leg and lowered his head, preventing the Licker from hitting him... If the Licker tried to squeeze in, the others' concentrated fire would make it suffer.

The Licker seemed somewhat enraged, roaring as it leaped over the access door and lashed out with a claw at Mu Xiang on the other side!

With a roar, the woman unleashed an immense aura, locking onto the Licker's vitals and firing several shots at it.

The Licker let out a strange cry and spun around in mid-air, but the claw still lashed out. Mu Xiang held his gun to his chest, then was thrown backward by the force of the claw, crashing into the door frame and seeing stars in pain; the rifle was also slapped away by the claw and slammed against the wall.

Seeing that Mu Xiang had lost his firepower, the Licker was about to pounce again. Now only Ryan and Zhang Jie could use firepower to distract it. Rifle and Desert Eagle bullets struck the Licker in the back of the head, causing the monster to roar repeatedly. Zheng Zha was too far away, and his pistol couldn't hit him at all. He could only drop Zhan Lan, who had been providing cover, and rush over here, yelling.
