Hogwarts: Becoming the White Lord from Breathing

Chapter 35: Decent Clothing Represents a Man's Face

Chapter 35: Decent Clothing Represents a Man's Face

"The Chudley Cannons uniform! Is it the Chudley Cannons uniform?"

"Yes, Fred, this is the Chudley Cannons jersey!"

The Weasley twins yelled excitedly. No Quidditch lover would dislike this gift, let alone they were active Gryffindor Quidditch members.

Is that the Chudley Cannons that Ron talks about every day?

Harry was a little surprised that Damon would give him such a gift - it was too expensive, and Ron was looking at him with wolf-like eyes, which made Harry feel quite uncomfortable.

"Do you want to see it?"

He picked up the team uniform from the box, his movements as gentle as if he was taking out some rare treasure, and handed it to Ron, who looked almost demented.

The Chudley Cannons, who have won the League Cup 21 times, are still Ron's favorite team despite their poor performance in recent years. The posters on the ceiling of his room are all of the Chudley Cannons.

"Can I?"

Ron took the bright orange team uniform in a daze, looking at the two black letters "C" and a speeding cannonball printed on it, almost like dementia.

A sudden pang of jealousy welled up in his heart. Damon actually gave Harry such an expensive gift? This uniform alone would probably cost over fifty Galleons!
"Wait, there's more below!"

Fred suddenly shouted.

Harry took a closer look and saw a magpie lying quietly under the orange Cannons jersey - it was the jersey of the Montrose Magpies!

This is the team that has won the most League Cups so far!
Not only that - Harry picked up the clothes, and sure enough, there were other team jerseys lying underneath - Holyhead Harpies, Wimbledon Wasps, the jerseys of four famous teams were all here!
"This is really——"

Harry picked up one and admired it, then carefully folded it and put it aside. Then he picked up the next one, looked at it from left to right, and put it away carefully again. He finished looking at three uniforms in this way before he let out a long sigh of relief.

The three Weasley brothers on the side began to appreciate them one by one after getting his permission.

"What's all the commotion here?"

Percy Weasley poked his head in through the crack in the door, a look of displeasure on his face.

He is the oldest of three brothers and a Gryffindor prefect.

"Damn it! Where did you get that from?!"

"Oh - Percy, if you would stop preaching now, our great and kind savior, Lord Harry, might consider letting you touch the jersey of your favorite team."

As George teased Percy, Fred quietly closed the door.

In the next half hour, the four people completely forgot their original purpose. They focused all their energy on the Quidditch team uniforms and kept praising them.

Harry looked at the happy expressions of the three people and suddenly said:
"If Damon agrees later, I can give one to each of you."

The expressions of the three people looking at Harry changed completely - the meaning of the four uniforms collected together is completely different from that of each one.

However, this is Harry. He is never stingy in sharing, nor does he feel jealous of his friends' achievements. If Damon knew what Harry said about him, he would probably say to Harry with a smile:
"Dude, you actually have a great character."

The four of them chatted enthusiastically for a long time, discussing what Damon's background was and why he was so arrogant.

At this moment, Ron suddenly remembered something and jumped up from his seat:
"Damon must have given me a gift too, how could I have forgotten!"

He opened all the presents with great joy, leaving the three that he thought were most likely from Damon for last.

Even Percy was curious about what gift the wealthy Damon would give.

The three gift boxes are all of the same style, square boxes, with exquisite packaging, and the clothes are all inside.
"Oh."

Ron called out dully, looking a little numb.

Fred and George looked at each other and saw a flash of apology in each other's eyes. Percy fell silent.

Ron picked up the card from the floor and read silently. [I noticed that your clothes don't fit you well. Please forgive my presumptuousness, but I believe that decent clothes represent a man's face, and in my eyes, you are certainly a man. Merry Christmas to you, Ron - Damon White]

His eyes instantly became moist.

The tears came so quickly and filled his eyes so much that Ron couldn't even hide them or pretend to ignore them. He wiped away the tears with the back of his hand and said before his three brothers could speak:
"Can you leave me alone for a moment? I'll meet you at the party in ten minutes."

The Weasley twins didn't laugh at him, and Percy didn't lecture him either - because their family was poor, Ron had always been wearing their hand-me-down clothes, and no matter how he protested, it was useless.

But now, this problem has been solved by his classmates.

Harry was the last to leave the room.

Before closing the door, he glanced at Ron again—he was kneeling in front of the three gift boxes, his back looking lonely.

In fact, he knew Ron's family background very well, but he didn't know what to do so as not to hurt his self-esteem.

Damon is the most suitable person to do this.

"Click." The door was closed gently.

Ron quietly opened the three gift boxes, letting the tears flow.

Only he knew that the moment he saw the gift Damon gave to Harry, he actually felt a little uncomfortable in his heart - he was obviously the one who liked the Chudley Cannons the most, and Damon knew it, but he gave such a gift to Harry.

But now - even he himself couldn't tell whether he wanted the three gifts in front of him or the one like Harry.

After all, Quidditch uniforms can only be collected, but the three boxes in front of him are closely related to his daily life.

For the first time, Ron felt ashamed of his despicable thoughts.

With guilt and gratitude, he opened the first gift box.

The box was quite large, and contained two complete sets of uniforms.

One set is a white shirt paired with dark gray slim pants, and a simple dark green turtleneck sweater underneath. There is even a pair of black leather boots placed upside down in the corner, which is very elegant.

The other set is an orange checkerboard shirt, paired with khaki pants of the same color, and two ties, one purple and one orange.

He opened the second box.

Inside lay three new sets of plain work robes, a peaked hat, a pair of dragonhide gloves, and a winter cloak.

They were all brand new, and—at first glance—they fit much better than the ones he was wearing.

Regular clothes, wizard robes, then what is the third box?

Ron opened the gift box and saw an exquisite dress - the dress was a deep burgundy color, the fabric was delicate velvet, the neckline was a classic V-shaped design, there was an exquisite silver embroidery line on the chest, extending from the neckline to the chest, and the cuffs were long and slightly tightened.

The pants are tailored trousers, the color of which matches the top, with a slim fit and smooth lines.

Even in his dreams, Ron never thought he would own such a suit.

Besides, formal attire was something that students in the second grade had to wear, so Damon had prepared it for him now. Ron carefully changed into his new uniform and wizard robe, put the gift back into the box, and carefully put it away.

After doing all this, he washed the dried tears with water and took a deep breath.

Thinking of what Damon said, "Decent clothes represent a man's face," he silently tied his loose tie and walked out the door.

Outside the window, the snow is still falling, covering the ground.

The snow piled up on the branches suddenly collapsed.
