Chapter 25 Run Faster!

Chapter 25 Run Faster! (New Book Seeking Monthly Tickets)

"Ow..."

"Why are all your family members coming to my house...?"

When he received the third slap, the guy with the parted hair finally remembered to cry. Especially when Han Su looked so fierce, it was a nightmare he had never seen before. It was even more terrifying than the monsters above, since the monsters wouldn't target just him.

"You hit me, you hit me..."

"You're in trouble. When my dad comes to rescue me, I'll make sure he doesn't save you. I'll make him bury you in the garden..."

"..."

"Then I'll let you experience the iron slap education of the working class again..."

Hearing this, Han Su became even angrier and kicked him again, deliberately not with full force, just enough to hurt, and then chased the little man with the parted hair back and forth in the cellar.

The little boy's sharp, childish cries suddenly became a cacophony in the night. Even the other children in the cellars, who were being trampled in the crowd or accidentally kicked, could no longer suppress their fear.

This suppressed unrest suddenly erupted, with various cries and shouts echoing in the empty cellar, even Han Su found them somewhat jarring.

Goo, goo, goo!

But the chaotic shouts also alerted someone outside, or rather, a monster, as heavy footsteps approached rapidly.

"Oh!"

Suddenly the small door was pushed open with a thud, and a burst of firelight rushed in.

A tall, dark figure lurked behind the firelight, emitting hoarse, guttural cries, as if threatening the children in the cellar to shut up.

Some of the children were frightened and dared not cry anymore, but Han Su immediately stomped hard on the foot of the boy with the parted hair, making him cry out in pain. The dungeon, which had just become a little quiet, was in chaos again.

The monster outside the small door saw that the children in the cellar not only did not shut up, but shouted even louder, and seemed to be angry as well. Its chest was churning with noise, mixed with the clanging of metal objects.

The firelight quickly approached the cellar, and only then could it be seen that it was a kerosene lamp, held up by a long pole.

He seemed to want to see clearly who was crying and making a fuss, which was also a way of intimidating these children.

The children dared to cry and fuss when the lantern didn't shine on them, but when the lantern was held up to their faces, they all began to back away in fear, afraid that the monster would use the lantern to burn their faces.

But at that moment, Han Su, who had been silently observing from within the crowd, suddenly rushed up the stairs.

The small, thin figure climbed the stairs, using both legs and feet, casting a series of blurry shadows in the firelight.

Outside the small door, the hunchbacked man carrying the lantern was taken aback. He hurriedly put away the lantern, wanting to see clearly who this little thing that dared to climb up was, but he greatly underestimated Han Su's speed.

He rushed up the small door at the top of the stairs faster than the lantern could retract.

He rushed forward first, facing the enormous and imposing shadow outside the small door. Without hesitation, he quickly burrowed down and rolled on the spot.

He crawled out from under the monster's crotch at the door and rushed into the living room. The hunchbacked man guarding the small door was clearly taken aback and hurriedly grabbed the lantern he had just received, turning his head to shine a light on where Han Su was.

Unexpectedly, when he turned around, he saw that Han Su had not run away, but had been standing calmly behind him.

"Snapped!"

Almost the instant he turned around, without the slightest deviation, Han Su raised his hand and slapped hard.

He was just a nine-year-old child, not strong enough to compete with the tall, hunchbacked man for anything. But at this moment, he simply raised his hand and knocked the lantern out of the man's hand.

Very simple.

The lantern fell, spilling its oil and burning the candle flame onto the thick carpet on the floor.

This bunker is very old, and you can see its former glory. The carpet is very thick, but because it has been used for a very long time, it is covered with a thick layer of dust, making it particularly easy to burn.

This was something that was already confirmed when Han Su was first kidnapped.

"call!"

The flames leaped up almost instantly and spread in several directions, even startling the hunchbacked man who was about to reach out and grab Han Su.

The flames that began to spread on the carpet separated Han Su from the hunchback. Through the flickering flames and smoke, the hunchback saw that the small, thin child, who was less than ten years old, was behaving strangely.

He merely took a few steps back, his expression unusually calm, but suddenly opened his mouth and uttered a childish yet tense cry:

"Run! The teacher is coming to get us..."

"The door is open, teacher, wait for me, teacher, wait a moment..." "..."

The somewhat eerie scene even sent a chill down the spine of the hunchbacked man: 'Has this child gone mad?'

But then, realizing something, he turned in surprise to look at the cellar.

No, it's the kids down there who've gone mad.

Among them were some clever ones who saw Han Su rush up to the underground cellar but did not imitate him, already guessing that anyone who did so at this time would most likely be killed by the monster.

But to their surprise, instead of hearing Han Su's screams, they heard his joyful shouts.

The voice was so real, as if I could really see the teacher, as if the teacher was closing the door right now, and if I was too late, there would be no chance left.

So they began to desperately climb the stairs.

They jostled and pushed each other, their small bodies bursting with boundless strength.

Even if there are a few clever ones among them, the others are enough to create a lively scene. Moreover, even the clever ones, seeing that everyone else believes them, suddenly become less calm than they had been before.

The young men with parted hair, who had been beaten, burst into tears, pushing and shoving each other, saying, "I want to go up first! I order you to let me go up first..."

But no one paid any attention to him anymore. Instead, he was pushed down again and again, and he sat on the ground with a thud, kicking his legs hard as he cried.

The carpet is on fire, the small door is open, and the children are rushing upwards.

The hunchbacked man didn't know how this sudden chaos had occurred; he just felt anxious and that he didn't have enough hands.

He tried to rush over and grab Han Su, but behind him, more children rushed out of the cellar, shouting and crying, rushing towards the gate, looking like a flock of panicked lambs, one on the left and one on the right.

He couldn't care less about Han Su anymore; he was in a hurry to grab the children.

Han Su glanced at the tightly locked bunker door, took a deep breath, turned around and walked up the spiral staircase to meet the monster upstairs.

"Squeak, squeak..."

The spiral staircase was old and worn, and you could hear some loose planks when you climbed it, but the chaos on the first floor masked the sound.

Neither the hunchbacked monster nor the child who ran out of the cellar saw Han Su go upstairs.

In the darkness of the night, his tender little face was tense, and his small body was controlled with an exaggeratedly strong will and skill, as agile as a monkey. In just a few steps, he had already darted to the second floor of the bunker.

Looking up, all you could see was a scarlet carpet on the second floor under the dim light of the wall lamp. It was rotten and moldy in many places, and had a suffocating smell.

Doors leading to unknown places were embedded in the walls, and a few warm lights shone through the cracks in some of them.

The moment Han Su rushed upstairs, he opened the first door on his left. He had already tried to open this door when he escaped here, and it was the only one that could be opened.

When he rushed through the door, he saw that it was filled with all sorts of shelves covered in mortar.

On the shelf were glassware of various shapes, some empty and covered with cobwebs, others filled with dark brown slime.

It seemed that some strange organs were floating in this mucus.

Han Su kept his eyes straight ahead, as if trying to avoid seeing anything, and walked directly towards the window of the room, focusing on the window on the left.

But as he passed a huge shelf, the groans coming from inside made him turn his head slightly.

On the shelf was a glass container connected to various pipes and mechanisms.

The vessel was filled with a green liquid, and the girl with the ponytail was naked and immersed in it, with various strange tubes inserted into her body. She couldn't breathe, but she still appeared to be conscious.

As Han Su walked past her, she suddenly opened her eyes wide, a string of bubbles came out of her mouth, and her struggle seemed to intensify all at once.

Han Su could see the pleading, pain, and despair in her eyes, but he did not stop.

He knew the girl with the high ponytail was fine; two days later, she would still appear unharmed on the night of pleasure.

He simply rushed through the iron frame, ran to the window opposite the door, nimbly opened the rusty window, and then slipped out.

The girl with the ponytail inside the vessel watched in despair as Han Su appeared and disappeared out the window, and finally, she fell silent.

Her eyes remained fixed on the direction he had disappeared in, and her lips moved slightly.

It's as if it's saying, "Then you'd better run faster..."
