Chapter 79 A Little Trick Against a Petty Person

Yu Qing was right; they were indeed in the wild. About ten minutes later, the stars began to appear in the sky.

They had to leave as soon as possible. They climbed up the road at the bottom of the valley and called for the car that was parked not far away.

The car drove over on its own. After arriving, they set off immediately, but fearing that things might change and the three men would change their minds again.

As they approached Yaoling in the air, Chang'e sent them a message: Danggui had caused a little trouble again.

"Why is it her again!" Yao Dan said angrily.

Although one could move freely in the space outside Yaoling's exclusive property, one was not allowed to stay. In order to facilitate the treatment of Danggui and to prevent her from wandering around, Chang'e bought a house next to the medicine station from someone else for a mere 1 RB.

After moving into that house, Chang'e kept the courtyard gate tightly shut, with Yan'er sitting inside the gate 24 hours a day to guard it and prevent Danggui from leaving. They fed Danggui her medicine on time, and her diarrhea was cured that very day.

Although Danggui wanted to go out for a stroll, with Yan'er guarding the door, she could only entertain herself in the courtyard. She still resented Chang'e and the others for taking her away from the water source, and she didn't interact with them, only occasionally exchanging a few words with Daji.

Back in the second amusement park, she often caught and ate mice because of food shortages. Now that she has plenty of food and clothing, her habit of catching mice hasn't changed. Today, out of sheer boredom, she dug into a mouse hole by the wall again.

The hole was a bit deep, and she ended up reaching into her neighbor's side of the hole. When she reached her hand in, the neighbor grabbed it, claiming it was theirs and threatening to cut it off and make soup. They've been stuck there for over half an hour now.

Yu Qing immediately relayed instructions to Chang'e, telling her to save Dang Gui's hand at all costs, and that she could compensate the other party with a large sum of money.

Who knew that the other party would make such an outrageous demand, asking Chang'e and the others for 1 billion RB before they would let go of Dang Gui's hand.
