Chapter 14 Children's Palace

Chapter 14 Children's Palace

After saying this, Zhang Wenda instantly understood. If the Youth Palace was really as he thought, then all the rules and anomalies in Old Man Ding's guide would make sense!

Why can't there be any living creatures in the youth center? Because they are inanimate objects. If there are living creatures, it means something is wrong with the youth center! Whether it's other scavenging creatures from underground or the youth center itself, it's a huge problem!

Why do the five black chess pieces in a row at the Children's Palace represent danger? Because they are the eyes of the Children's Palace. The eyeballs, which should have scattered due to death, have re-condensed, which means that the Children's Palace is not completely dead!
There was no fear or unease in Zhang Wenda's eyes at this moment. He knew it was a possibility, and he might be right or wrong.

But in this desperate situation, it represents not only a possibility, but also the only hope for survival!

After hearing Zhang Wenda's explanation, the bespectacled man looked at him nervously, "You mean, we can go back now?"

“That’s right! We can go back!” Zhang Wenda said decisively, “If the Youth Palace really is some kind of entity that can trigger a whale fall, then we just need to kill it! Just kill it! The dead Youth Palace will then trigger the whale fall again, and they will return to the surface from hundreds of meters underground!”

"Where is the heart? Which classroom is more like the heart of the Children's Palace?"

Zhang Wenda quickly scanned all the classroom rules, then glanced at the red stripe on his forearm. "If I could find the heart of the Youth Palace, I could crush it with my current strength!"

Looking at the introductions and rules for each classroom in the guide, he felt more and more that they represented every part of this children's palace.

It's pretty much confirmed that the five black chess pieces are the eyes of the Children's Palace, while the large pit in the calligraphy room seems to be the stomach or intestines of the Children's Palace.

However, after quickly searching around, Zhang Wenda couldn't find any classroom that was related to the heart, and he was at a loss for what to do.

“Mouse, brain.” A thin finger reached out and pointed at the model airplane room; it was the bespectacled finger. “I like reading extracurricular books. One book said that only the brain can express emotions, so this place must be the brain.”

Upon hearing this, Zhang Wenda immediately looked at the other person gratefully. This was a huge help! Even if the heart couldn't be found, attacking the brain would suffice!
He said gratefully, "Thanks! What's your name?"

The man with glasses was taken aback when he heard this. "I'm your deskmate."

However, Zhang Wenda could no longer hear these words. At this moment, he stood up, tucked the guide to the Children's Palace under his arm with his severed hand, and carried a flashlight in his other hand, rushing towards the model airplane room without hesitation.

"Glasses! Guard them, I'll be right back!!"

Twenty seconds later, Zhang Wenda suddenly pushed open the door to the model airplane room, and black gas rushed out painfully. The intense pain made him kneel down on one knee.

He was in great pain, but perhaps because the rules had attacked him repeatedly, his pain tolerance had increased, and he managed to struggle to his feet again.

Zhang Wenda staggered toward the wall that had been secreting liquid, now covered with small solid balls instead of liquid.

Reaching the wall, Zhang Wenda raised his flashlight with one hand and slammed it down heavily. With a flash of red light on his arm, the flashlight smashed through the wall.

Then, as if a water pipe had burst, a brown liquid gushed out, covering Zhang Wenda completely.

As the liquid covered Zhang Wenda's entire body, a wave of sorrow instantly surged into his heart. This sorrow was so intense that it even overwhelmed the pain.

Under the liquid's wash, the pages of the Children's Palace Guide were quickly soaked, and Old Man Ding next to each rule was quickly smeared into a mess.

As the image of Old Man Ding on the guide gradually faded, everything around them began to rapidly distort and change.

All the model airplanes now stretched out, intertwined, and hung from the ceiling, pulsating like blood vessels. After all the old men on the Children's Palace guidebook had been completely erased, the aviation room had been completely transformed. The walls, which should have been permeated with fluid-like pleasure, had now become a twitching wall of flesh.

Zhang Wenda no longer had time to consider why this was happening.

He dared not stop, not even having time to pause and wipe his sweat. He raised the flashlight in his hand again and, with a fierce determination, swung it wildly down at the flesh wall.

With the red light illuminating him, Zhang Wenda possessed immense strength, easily tearing open the entire flesh wall and creating a large gash.

Without saying a word, Zhang Wenda crawled directly into the wound, trying his best to find the brain that was secreting the fluid and experiencing pleasure.

The flesh walls were thick and long, and Zhang Wenda finally felt as if he had entered the stomach of some kind of monster.

Fortunately, with the added benefit of the red light, Zhang Wenda, even with only one skilled hand, continued to push his way in despite the pressure.

Inside the fleshy walls, it was hot and sticky, and breathing was difficult. Zhang Wenda felt like he was about to suffocate.

Fortunately, as the wall turned into a fleshy wall, the gaseous pain and liquid sorrow vanished into thin air, as if they had never existed, and their effects on him gradually subsided.

With a ripping sound, accompanied by the tearing of flesh, Zhang Wenda, covered in blood, fell out of the flesh wall again.
Lying on the ground, looking at everything around him that was all red, Zhang Wenda smiled. He was finally out.

Before he could catch his breath, he heard a strange sound. He quickly got up, raised his flashlight, and looked in that direction.

This is a space roughly the size of a football field. In the distance, there is water, and in the center of the water, a triangular, transparent piece of flesh is suspended in the air, gently pumping. It is impaled by a long black cone, which is constantly secreting liquid that falls down.

The place was no longer hot; on the contrary, it was quite refreshing. Zhang Wenda didn't know where this place was, but he understood one thing: the thing not far away, even if it wasn't the brain of the Youth Palace, was still a very important organ of it.

He didn't care if it was a brain or not; he just wanted the youth palace to die.

Glancing at the red scar that was still a third of the way down his arm, Zhang Wenda wiped the sweat from his face with his forearm, lifted his foot and stepped into the water, moving closer to the triangle.

After taking only a step or two, Zhang Wenda sensed something was wrong, and a trace of pain welled up in his mind.

The pain was so intense that he could barely walk.

But he soon realized that the pain was not in the right place; it was different from the pain caused by gas.

The effects of gas pain are that the whole body feels uncomfortable, but right now the part that hurts the most is my head.

At that moment, Zhang Wenda felt as if a chopstick had been plunged into his head, causing him excruciating pain. But when he caught sight of the transparent spikes not far away, he instantly realized that this was not his pain, but the pain of the Children's Palace!

And amidst the pain, a sense of fear began to creep into his heart, a fear that was not his own.

At this moment, Zhang Wenda suddenly remembered a rule he hadn't understood before: why, if he experienced uncontrollable emotional changes in the model airplane room, he should leave immediately and tell the teacher.

If you feel emotions that are beyond your control in the model airplane room, it means that these are not your own emotions at all! They are the emotions of the Children's Palace, which means that the Children's Palace is still alive, and at this moment you are in sync with the Children's Palace's emotions!
 Gone……
