Chapter 30: Night Tour (Part )
Vaughn hugged Guoguocha soothingly and fed it a piece of dried fish. He shrugged and said, "That's how we do it. Take out the snacks and feed it."

"Stop lying to me."

Ron muttered, "Last time Harry fed it barbecue, it ignored us and chased us down three corridors. Damn cat!"

Vaughn rolled his eyes at him. "My foolish brother, animals are very sensitive. They can tell who is sincere and who is not. Your intentions are not pure, so of course they will ignore you."

He tickled Mrs. Norris's chin, and she purred comfortably and fell over, exposing her belly.

The little claw waved and played with Vaughn's fingers that teased it.

"Okay, go back and don't tell Filch." Vaughn scratched its fur again and frowned. "Well, I have to make some tonic for you. You're too thin."

Mrs. Norris licked his fingers, looked at Ron and Hermione with her creepy big eyes again, and went back to the trophy room door wagging her tail.

Vaughn looked over there and asked, "Are you with Harry?"

"Well, we were worried Malfoy would bully him."

"Don't worry, I told Draco that if he loses points from Slytherin again, I'll turn him into a mouse and give it to Guo Guocha as a toy!"

Hermione smiled happily and said, "That's the way to scare him."

Ron, on the other hand, covered his pocket with his hands, his face turning pale. He didn't think Vaughn was just trying to scare Malfoy.

"Okay, I'm going to take Peeves for another walk." Vaughn stood up and said to the two, "I'll leave the fruit tea with you. After Harry finishes cleaning the trophy, you can ask the fruit tea to lead you to find me. I'll take you to some fun places. I've discovered a lot of secrets lately."

After saying that, Vaughn took Peeves away.

Hermione looked at his back, her eyes sparkling more and more:

"Ronald, you really should learn more from your brother. He's a good student and kind-hearted. Even Mrs. Norris likes him."

Ron puffed out his cheeks, not wanting to talk to "stupid girls"!
After waiting for more than an hour, Harry finally came out. He was so tired that he was in a trance. When he saw Ron, he wiped his face with a rag.

Ron hurriedly stopped him, and only after he told Harry that Vaughn was going to take them for a night outing did Harry come to his senses a little.

The group followed Guo Guo Cha and went to find Vaughn. Harry was still complaining:
"...You have no idea how many trophies there are. I can't use spells on them, I have to wipe them all by hand. By the time I was halfway through, I had lost all my memory."

Hermione complained to him: "Even if I asked you to use a spell, you wouldn't be able to do it!"

Harry pretended not to hear and excitedly said to his friends, "I saw my father's Quidditch trophy with his name, James Potter, printed on it. Malfoy was so envious. Although he always brags about his family, I know his father doesn't have a trophy."

Ron was also very envious, because his father didn't have it either... Although Charlie had gotten it before, the meaning was different.

Guo Guocha brought the three of them all the way to the second floor.

This floor is familiar to everyone. Defense Against the Dark Arts, Transfiguration, History of Magic, Muggle Studies and the school infirmary are all on this floor.

There is also an abandoned girls' bathroom here.

They followed Guo Guo Cha and found Vaughn in the girls' bathroom.

He was talking to a ghost girl, Moaning Myrtle:
"...Oh - Vaughan Weasley, sweetheart, you are so thoughtful. No one ever cares about me. They always shout "Here comes that annoying Myrtle" when they see me. Wuuwuwuwu -"

She cried for a few moments, then suddenly burst into a shrill, angry outburst:
"So no one else can use this bathroom! This is mine. I'll die here, and I'll be here forever!"

Several faucets sprayed water. Vaughn watched all this with interest, noticing Harry, Ron, and Hermione arrive. He called out, "Don't be angry, Myrtle, look, I've brought some friends with me."

Myrtle glanced at the three of them, lacking interest. "Sweetheart, I don't want to talk to an ugly person. Only you are worthy of a beauty like me."

The ugly trio: "..."

"Okay," Vaughn said regretfully, "I'll take them away first. We'll talk later when we have time."

Myrtle hid her body in the toilet, leaving only her head exposed. She said shyly and sweetly, "Well—OK, I'll always wait for you, dear."

Ron held his breath and began to breathe heavily as he walked out of the bathroom: "Merlin, I'm about to vomit."

He looked at Vaughn in disbelief. "How can you stand her?"

Vaughn looked very calm. "Don't you think it's interesting? As far as I know, she is the youngest ghost in the entire academy and died decades ago. How did she become like this? Also, she can affect the water spraying from the pipes. Other ghosts can't do that."

Ron and Harry didn't find it amusing at all.

Only Hermione suddenly felt that Myrtle seemed to be full of secrets and shining with the brilliance of knowledge.

Throughout the rest of the journey, Hermione asked Vaughn what he thought about Myrtle's problem.

After climbing to the sixth floor, Harry, exhausted and out of breath, had to interrupt them: "Vaughn, where are we going?"

"Eighth floor, almost there."

When they reached the eighth floor, Vaughn led them along the corridor and found a tapestry that depicted a giant beating the fool Barnabas with a club.

"Step back and stand under the tapestry."

Vaughn ordered.

The three of them looked at each other and did as he said. Vaughn walked to the wall opposite the tapestry and walked back and forth three times.

Then, a magical scene appeared——

A smooth door suddenly emerged from the wall.

Vaughn pushed open the door and waved to the three of them.

The three of them followed him into the door and found a huge space inside.

Countless miscellaneous items were piled up, resembling the towering spires of a castle.

"Harry, Ron, Hermione, welcome to the Room of Requirement!"

Even though he had entered the magical world and come into contact with magic, Harry still felt that this house that suddenly appeared from the wall challenged his imagination.

The room was very spacious, even larger than the Quidditch pitch. If Harry hadn't seen it with his own eyes, he would never have believed that this was still Hogwarts.

There was a variety of things piled up there, including broken tables and chairs, and tables that looked intact but were placed on the ground. There were also some objects that were hard to identify, some of which were spinning on the tables, and some of which were flying in the air.

He stared in fascination as he heard Vaughan describe the room:
"The Room of Requirement can build a house that suits your needs based on your ideas. The method is to think about your needs in your mind and walk back and forth three times along the wall where we came in. For example, I just wanted to hide something, so the house looks like this now."
