Chapter 100 Night Guard vs. Space Marine
Chapter 100 Night Guard vs. Space Marine
The Empire of Man versus the Nur Stars. The naval battle has been decided, and now the Empire's boarding action has begun.
The Emperor's angel of death, carrying the empire's wrath, descends upon the enemy's ships.
The boarding craft was slow and failed to trigger the Void Shield reaction, piercing the enemy ship's close-in defenses like a sharp spike.
Harlan grinned, the twitching muscles pulling at the scars on his face, his smile twisting into a terrifying grimace: "Let them in!"
Since embarking on the battle to reclaim the Nur Stars, the Night Guardians have not wielded their swords for a long time, and most of their battles have been fleet clashes.
The rebellious planets and alliances quickly gave up resistance after the Void Fleet's defeat.
Even the most stubborn among them, upon seeing the landing forces released by the Void Fleet, the combined forces of Iron Men and Night Guardians, would be terrified and rationally choose to surrender.
Now that someone dares to break in, we have to go and meet these tough guys!
Turing manipulated the shield to open a gap, allowing the enemy boarding boat to board, and then immediately closed it.
The landing craft rushed toward the ship's weak points, and the thermoelectric weapons it carried melted through the warship's hull, carving into the ship like a battering ram.
The moment the boarding ship's hatch opened, the Space Marines burst out like hungry wolves, rushing out with bomb guns in hand.
The air pressure was rapidly depressurizing, but the Space Marine's magnetic boots firmly planted him on the ground as he quickly surveyed the environment and determined the combat situation.
What comes into view is the bright and clean interior of the warship, with a grid-patterned white floor and a wide, aesthetically pleasing corridor.
The interior of the relic warship was spacious and clean, unlike the cramped and dark Imperial ships.
The Space Marines charged out menacingly, but were somewhat bewildered by the scene before them.
It felt as if I had traveled from a remote, untamed world to a truly advanced civilization.
Faced with the corridors stretching to the left and right, the lieutenant abandoned his past experience and immediately ordered, "Follow me! We're moving towards the bow to settle accounts with them!"
A normal boarding maneuver would involve splitting into multiple groups and advancing towards the ship's key facilities. This would create chaos on multiple fronts and prevent the ship from being wiped out in one fell swoop by the enemy.
Once aboard the warship, the lieutenant hatched a plan.
He wanted to eliminate the command structure, seize the relic warship, and then move the personnel away from here.
The Space Marine immediately obeyed the order, following the lieutenant to the right, his anger blazing as he headed towards the bridge to settle scores.
They jogged along, and the spectacular sights they encountered drew the attention of the Space Marines.
Through the transparent sidewalls of the corridor, the entire warship resembles a highly automated city, with automated machinery transporting shells and supplies onto and off the ship.
No guards stopped them along the way; only machines operated automatically.
It even gave them the illusion that someone was operating this relic warship.
When the twenty menacing Space Marines walked down the corridor into a large hall, which contained some crates and nothing else.
"Over there." The lieutenant pointed to the passageway on the other side of the hall, gesturing for his men to continue.
As they reached the middle of the hall, the airlocks that had led them there and to their destination suddenly closed.
"Prepare to blast."
The lieutenant's orders were simple and direct, and he remained completely calm. How could a Space Marine be trapped by a few doors?
He knew in his heart that the actions of his group were being observed by the operators of the warship.
The other party seemed to be playing cat and mouse, attempting to toy with the Emperor's warriors, the Astartes of the Empire.
However, the arrogant enemy did not know that they were not toying with rats, but with a raging Space Marine.
Harlan on the bridge was indeed watching them, his eyes fixed on the tall, swift intruders.
The intruders wore rough and savage power armor and had large, bulky power backpacks.
On the other hand, those wearing power armor were highly efficient and worked closely and in perfect harmony with each other.
"Provide cover for the Night Guards to enter the field and test their combat strength."
The lights in the hall suddenly increased in brightness, immediately alerting the Space Marines, who raised their bomb pistols.
Most of their twenty eyes were focused on the two doors, as these were the only passageways.
At the same time, they didn't forget to keep their eyes wandering in the open, alert for any possible unexpected situations.
"Be on high alert, the enemy is coming!"
The lieutenant growled into the communications channel, raising his plasma pistol with his left hand and activating his power sword with his right.
As the brightness increased, the scene in the hall gradually blurred in the field of vision, and even the Space Marine helmet visors could not filter out the blazing white light.
They moved closer together spontaneously, their helmet visors constantly switching perspectives, searching for enemies in the light. Their implanted visual control organs began to overload in the blinding light; the Space Marines felt as if they were in a white world, only able to see within a three-meter radius in front of them.
Then their "Ears of Lyman" heard a faint sound in the quiet hall, a total of twenty!
"Bang! Bang! Bang!"
The brutal sound of the blaster rang out, and without the lieutenant's order, Astartes fired in the direction of the sound.
They listened intently, gathering the faint sounds in the white world, capturing the explosions of bombs hitting their targets.
However, they found nothing, and the dazzling white light gradually returned to normal.
Twenty warriors dressed in power armor and wielding various glowing weapons appeared out of thin air in the hall, standing at a distance and watching them.
They were also tall, their white power armor covered in battle wounds, and their eyes burning like swords.
The white-armored warrior remained silent, raised his weapon, which was flashing with blue light, and pointed it at his own side: "Capture them!"
The Night Guards teleported into the hall, and Harlan, curious about these outsiders, seized them and interrogated them.
Soldier against soldier, general against general, tough guy against tough guy, hero against hero.
Both sides were perfectly in sync at this moment, twenty against twenty, each choosing an opponent to begin the battle.
The bomb gun roared, and the savage weapon's large-caliber self-propelled ammunition struck the Night Guardian's dimensional shield, flashing a blue light before disappearing without a trace.
The Space Marine's expression changed, and he quickly threw his gun to the ground, drew his tactical dagger, and began charging into close combat.
The plasma cluster was swallowed by the shield, and the lieutenant brandished his power sword, charging towards the Night Guard.
The once spacious hall now felt cramped, as forty extraordinary warriors charged face-to-face within it.
"For the Emperor!" The Space Marine's wild battle cry echoed through the hall through the breathing grilles.
"We are Nur's Blade!" the Night Guards retorted, brandishing their weapons and charging forward.
When the two sides clashed, the Space Marine brandished his dagger and thrust it at the White Armor Warrior's armor joint, but it was blocked by the Warrior's weapon.
The two exchanged a brief blow and then immediately separated.
This situation occurred simultaneously on the battlefield, surprising both sides—how could he keep up with my speed?
Even some Space Marine weapons were cut in half by dimensional blades in the first round of combat.
"Interesting!" After a brief moment of surprise, the Night Guard continued to brandish his weapon and attack the intruder.
Having witnessed the weapon's power, the Space Marines retreated repeatedly, avoiding its sharp edge.
The situation in the hall was one-sided; the Space Marines' pride in their physical prowess was at a disadvantage, and their power armor and weapons were far inferior.
They encountered an opponent they had never faced before, who gradually drove the Emperor's warriors to the brink of defeat.
The lieutenant was in dire straits. His power sword had been cleaved in two by the opponent's lightsaber in the first round, and he was fighting while wielding the broken sword, which was imbued with a disintegrating force field.
The white-armored warrior not only possessed sharp weapons, but also had superb martial arts skills. He wielded a lightsaber so powerful that one couldn't even touch him.
The sword in his hand grew shorter and shorter, forcing the lieutenant to turn around to avoid the crucial moment, but in doing so, he exposed his entire back.
Then he felt the power armor become heavy, his body exerted force and lost synchronization with the power armor, and he staggered and fell to the ground.
The lieutenant understood that with the power backpack destroyed, the power armor was essentially a living coffin.
Such situations are common in the lobby.
The Night Guard's "self-discipline" techniques, unpredictable sudden stops and bursts of power, leave the Space Marines completely bewildered.
The seemingly unstoppable spearhead, aimed directly at the Space Marine's head, suddenly stopped firing the instant the Space Marine parried.
With a sudden reverse force, the gun butt was thrust between the legs, violently lifting the Space Marine up.
While he was briefly suspended in the air and unable to resist, the Night Guard turned around and cut off his power backpack.
The Space Marines were stripped of their power packs, and some lay on their backs, some crawled on the ground, and some stood.
"Use the advantage of weaponry!" The lieutenant gritted his teeth, his body bearing the weight of his power armor as he stood up from the ground.
"You're quite an interesting guy." The Night Guard put away his weapon and looked at the defiant lieutenant: "You can't beat me in terms of martial arts alone."
"Let's go." The Night Guard put away his weapons, confirming that the intruders posed no further threat and that their armor was too heavy to remove.
