Chapter 380 Bloody Trial

Chapter 380 Bloody Trial (One more chapter coming later.)
The space transport plane descended from the sky, and Miles strode out, as the army erupted in deafening cheers.

The army has completely taken control of the base, with soldiers patrolling the high walls and helicopters and fighter jets circling overhead in watch.

Now is the most vulnerable time for the base. Although we have won the uprising, we need to be wary of native attacks and hold on to our victory.

The square was filled with people, all of whom were controlled staff, including scientists, engineers, miners, and construction workers.

It was nearly afternoon, the hottest time of day in the Pandora galaxy, and everyone was drenched in sweat.

Miles stepped onto the platform, sweat trickling down his resolute face. His sharp eyes swept over the crowd, his gaze cold and ruthless.

The adjutant handed over a data board containing the names of all detainees, awaiting the highest command's decision.

As the list was presented, a group of soldiers, heads held high, escorted several prisoners to the front desk, and even roughly carried Na'vi clones with forklifts.

They were important prisoners, whom Miles had personally designated at the time of the uprising, specifically instructing the army to capture these despicable "traitors."

"Traitors, kneel down!" In front of everyone, Miles did not hide his disgust and shouted loudly, "You are sinners against humanity."

The soldier used the butt of his rifle to strike the knees of several men, forcing them to kneel on the ground.

With a single, decisive move, the colonel used simple methods to first characterize the actions of the individuals involved, and then proceed with the trial focusing on their treachery.

Miles has an iron fist, but he's not just a brute; he's very clever and knows how to justify a rebellion.

The sudden control of the base by the army has caused discontent among many people, and an outlet for their emotions must be provided.

These traitors are perfect sinners who stand on the opposite side of righteousness.

Sure enough, upon hearing the conclusion that they were "traitors," countless angry gazes were fixed on them, their disgust undisguised.

"Colonel Miles, what are you talking about? Why did you start the rebellion?" the female scientist screamed, trying to break free of her restraints and instead questioning the army about the mutiny.

As a highly educated intellectual, she naturally knew she couldn't answer. Getting associated with a "traitor" would be a death sentence!

Everything I've done is to promote coexistence between humans and the Na'vi, to jointly develop Pandora, and to integrate into the planet's ecosystem.

Miles met the female scientist.

She was quite talented; she developed a neural connection device that showed the home planet another possibility and reduced military spending.

Without a doubt, she is a traitor!

As a highly intelligent human being, he stands next to aliens, advocating for harmonious coexistence between humans and aliens.

“Dr. Augustine,” the colonel began slowly, his voice carrying authority and pressure, “you and your project are the greatest blasphemy against humanity!”

"I will expose your crimes and subject you to judgment before all your fellow human beings!"

He pointed to the Na'vi clone lying on the forklift and sternly rebuked, "These alien creatures are hideous. What right do they have to coexist with humans?"

"We are humankind, a superior and advanced race, possessing pure genes and intelligence, roaming freely among the stars."

"Alien races are backward and barbaric. You should study how to integrate them into humans, not how to make humans compatible with them."

Miles's voice boomed like thunder; his roar, though delivered without a megaphone, echoed throughout the square, clearly audible to everyone: "Your thinking is so depraved, a disgrace to the status of an advanced civilization!"

After the stern rebuke, Miles felt a surge of relief, his pent-up frustration finally released, and his thoughts became clearer.

Before last night, although he loathed the alien creatures, he would never have dared to be so arrogant in belittling other intelligent beings.

Having witnessed the majestic figures of those adults and gained a rudimentary understanding of the Empire's truths, his sense of identification with humanity rose to an unimaginable level.

boom--

The colonel's words were like a boulder rolling down a calm lake, creating ripples and causing an uproar in the square.

The base has thousands of people living together in one circle, and everyone knows what the PhD is doing.

I hadn't paid much attention to it before, but now that it's been brought to light, a deep sense of fear washes over me, making me break out in a cold sweat.

Many people were whispering and murmuring as they discussed the colonel's words.

Miles raised his hand to stop his adjutant's suppression; this was exactly the effect he wanted—to sow the seeds of contempt for aliens and to build a consensus on the supremacy of humanity.

Undoubtedly, his words resonated with many, with most people nodding in agreement and looking at the traitor with more disdain.

Those eyes seemed to say: Human civilization has crossed the sea of stars and will never coexist with lowly aliens.

We are conquerors who bare our fangs!
Dr. Augustine's face turned deathly pale. She knew her project was over; Miles had succeeded, stirring up a powerful emotional response in most people. She looked up at the colonel, too weak to argue: "The Na'vi..."

"They're not human!" Miles interrupted abruptly, firmly retorting, "They're aliens from space."

The doctor was in despair. Every word he uttered at that moment was a defense of the Na'vi, a testimony presented in court to judge himself.

What Colonel Miles is doing now is instigating and manipulating public opinion to become a military dictator and bring war to this beautiful world.

But there was one thing she didn't understand.

Why? The colonel suddenly launched a rebellion, using swift and decisive measures to demonstrate his stance, acting hastily and impatiently.

Her heart sank. Could it be that something had changed on their home planet? Had they decided to adopt a hardline policy towards Pandora?

No, that's not right. The doctor quickly shook his head, denying the guess in his mind.

If the home planet changes its attitude, there's no need to treat its own project this way; it could simply order its termination. Why put it on trial in front of a large audience?

The more the doctor thought about it, the more something seemed amiss. He stared intently at the colonel, unable to understand why he was so firm and so deeply resentful of the Na'vi.

Feeling the intense gaze, Miles sneered inwardly, but ignored her probing look and roared loudly, "Bring up the alien and the traitor."

"You... Ugh! Ugh!" Augustine's pupils shrank sharply, and just as he was about to shout that he had committed a crime, his mouth was taped shut by a soldier.

A dozen or so Na'vi prisoners were brought up; the three-meter-tall aliens were quite an eyesore in the square.

Faced with so many humans, the Na'vi looked somewhat frightened, not understanding what was happening.

"Make them kneel down!" the colonel shouted, and the soldier's rifle butt struck the alien's knee, forcing it to kneel down facing the humans.

Dr. Augustine's team was also brought in and, under the soldiers' pressure, knelt with their heads bowed before the humans, their faces ashen.

"Humanity is supreme!" Miles roared, drawing air from his lungs and unleashing a furious howl.

"Humanity is supreme!" The supreme commander shouted, and the army naturally echoed, with shouts rising and falling throughout the base.

"Human beings are supreme!" Racial sentiments were ignited, and all kinds of staff members, their eyes bloodshot, raised their arms and roared.

Miles's gaze, sharp as an eagle's, swept over the crowd gathered in the square. He waved for his soldiers to enter the crowd and seize those who hesitated.

It wasn't until those around them were arrested that everyone realized: the colonel was preparing to unleash a massacre to eliminate all unstable elements.

After the rousing shouts subsided, hundreds of people had been brought up to the high platform in front of the square and made to kneel down in front of the crowd below.

"Execute these weaklings!" Miles' ultimate goal was to eliminate the base's weaknesses!
The soldier walked up behind the weak and pulled the trigger without hesitation. Gunshots rang out in quick succession, and the first group of people were shot and killed, falling into pools of blood.

The stench of blood filled the air, and the scene fell into a deathly silence. Many people vomited, and even the Na'vi looked on in disbelief.

"Next batch." Miles' tone was icy, his expression unwavering, as he ordered the soldiers to execute the next batch.

Gunfire erupted again, and wave after wave of soldiers executed everyone. Bright red blood flowed down the platform and even spread to the crowd.

The scene was numbingly brutal. They had never witnessed such a horrific sight, humans being slaughtered like chickens.

No investigation was needed, no evidence was required. He was executed by soldiers simply for not cooperating and showing weakness.

People did not resist, nor did they dare to resist.

Among those executed were many of their relatives and friends, yet they dared not stand up and speak out to condemn the army's atrocities.

The crowd dared only to glare hatefully at the Na'vi and Dr. Augustine's team, their teeth grinding together as if they wanted to tear them apart.

These people deserve to die for their crimes of rape!

They preach harmonious coexistence every day and think about the Na'vi people in every way, but how many lives have they killed?

And those damn blue-skinned aliens, why are they even alive? Many people showed pity, but the price was their lives.

"Slay all the aliens! Humanity is supreme!"

The deathly silent crowd erupted in roars, their anger raging, their emotions becoming the sharpest blades.

Miles waved his hand, and the soldiers raised their blades and, in an extremely savage manner, beheaded the Na'vi and the traitors.
