Mystery: The Last Shepherd
Chapter 521 Naval Battle
Chapter 521 Naval Battle
After their successful attack on Bayam, the Blood Pirates' name spread throughout the continent via newspapers. And those who made their living at sea, needless to say, had long since memorized the design of their flag.
Therefore, when the blood-stained skull banner actually came into view, the pirates under "Admiral Disease" were thrown into panic.
Four or five sailing ships flanking an ironclad warship flying a black pirate flag—that's a configuration only the Blood Pirates possess!
"Captain! Enemy attack! It's the [Blood Cultivators]!"
Pirates shouted frantically outside, accompanied by the roar of cannons.
"Never mind that for now, call the first mate and the others in, I need some help here!"
Tracy shouted anxiously and angrily. The pirate attack outside was certainly troublesome, but for her at the moment, it was more important to deal with the enemy in front of her.
"Bang! Bang!"
Across from her, Klein mimicked gunshots, and air bullets came from all directions, striking Tracy's body from all sides.
"Clap!"
Ice crystal walls immediately rose around Tracy's body, and air bullets exploded into white flowers on them.
"who are you!"
She shouted angrily, "Where is Elaine?"
By now, Tracy had realized that the attacker was disguised as Elaine, and that the Blood Pirates had been lured here by him!
"hehe."
Klein leaped back, dodging the ice crystals that pierced the floor. He had intended to say something about Elaine to provoke Tracy, but then he heard footsteps outside the corridor; a large group of pirates were arriving to provide support.
I've achieved my goal, so I should leave as soon as possible!
He immediately turned around, smashed open the window, and fell onto the chaotic deck. Before the pirates could react, he grabbed one of the lucky ones, bit him with his "wriggling hunger," and, carrying the pirate, jumped into the sea and swam towards the distant "Hindus."
The shells kept falling on the surrounding water, but he easily dodged them with the "clown's" natural intuition and dived into deeper water.
"Captain, are you alright?"
The first mate, second mate, and other high-ranking officers of the Black Death rushed into the captain's cabin and saw Tracy's fair skin beneath her tattered shirt. Even in this situation, they couldn't help but stare, unable to look away.
Tracy had no time to heed her subordinates' gazes; instead, she looked into the distance. Alexander Gascoigne's fleet was rapidly approaching, among which one warship stood out, gleaming in the sunlight. It spewed white steam as it unleashed powerful cannonballs.
"boom!"
The Black Death was unfortunately hit by a shell. The heavy shell first left a large crater on the deck, then bounced up and smashed two or three pirates in its path into a bloody mist and chunks of flesh before slowly coming to a stop.
"Why didn't you fire back?!"
Tracy cursed angrily.
"Captain, those guys are using standard military artillery, which has a longer range and greater power than ours!"
someone explained.
"Captain, what do we do now?"
The higher-ups said anxiously
"retreat!"
Tracy gritted her teeth. "Tell the other ships to split up and meet at Harbor Two!"
Our side was at a disadvantage, having been ambushed, and our firepower was completely suppressed. And to make matters worse, the enemy captain was a Sequence 4 demigod; this battle was simply unwinnable!
"What are you waiting for? Get moving! Do you want to become lambs to the slaughter for the Blood Cultivators?!"
She roared in fury, and her men snapped out of their daze, rushing out of the captain's cabin to their respective tasks. Some signaled to other ships, some rallied the sailors to raise the sails, and some organized a cannon counterattack. Soon, amidst the thunderous roar of cannons, the entire fleet began to turn, leaving the island's sheltered spot and scattering in all directions.
Tracy, who remained in the captain's cabin, hesitated for a moment before finally running to the corner of the room, opening a drawer in the dressing table, and pulling something out.
It was a small round mirror with a severely rusted metal frame.

Sigrún lives and works in Iceland.
"Captain! They're scattering and trying to escape!" the observer shouted through binoculars from the lookout tower of the Hit.
Lu Ze looked up and saw that the opposing fleet had automatically disbanded, each choosing a direction to flee.
"Tell the other ships to split up and pursue."
He told Anderson, "You decide how to allocate it."
"Ok!"
Anderson agreed and was about to leave when he asked, "Captain, which ship should we chase?"
Lu Ze hesitated for a moment, about to answer, when he heard a scream from the deck. A soaking wet person had climbed over the ship's railing and jumped aboard. He was only wearing a shirt and shorts, and his hair was disheveled.
"Don't make a move, we're on the same side."
He shouted, signaling the sailors who had surrounded him with weapons to return to their positions, and then walked up to Klein.
Was the "Disease General" on the "Black Death"?
Lu Ze released a fireball to dry his soaking wet clothes, and asked at the same time.
"Cough cough... I'm here."
Before Klein could even speak, he was overcome with a series of coughs. His face was flushed an unnatural red, as if he had a low-grade fever. Before jumping off the Black Death, he still retained Elaine's appearance and dress. To avoid dying when boarding Luzer's ship, he had taken off his long dress in the sea, leaving only his innermost garment.
"Darkwell!"
Seeing this, Lu Ze immediately called for his ship's doctor. His former colleague was clearly affected by the virus released by the "Disease Admiral." Although he had left the source of the disease, the cold he had already developed was not so easy to treat. "Another person, prepare clothes and blankets!"
"I'm coming!"
The portly apothecary, carrying a large owl on his shoulder, hurried over, weaving through the chaotic crowd and nearly getting bumped by the sailors carrying cannonballs. He grumbled under his breath as he finally reached Klein.
"Hey, buddy, you..."
After catching his breath, Darkwell carefully examined Klein, then revealed a knowing smile.
"You'd better shut up."
Lu Ze knew all too well how foul-mouthed his subordinate was, and before he could finish speaking, he coldly interrupted, "Heal him properly. If you dare to utter another word of nonsense, I'll put you in a cannon and blast you to the other side."
"Yes."
Darkwell immediately became obedient, muttering annoyance before turning to scold his owl, Mr. Harry, "Silly bird, go get my medical kit! Do you know how heavy you are, always trying to climb on my shoulder?"
The owl gave him a silent glare with its golden eyes, then spread its wings and flew away.
Luzer and Klein nodded, then instructed Anderson to lead the sailors in pursuit of the opposing flagship.
"boom!"
"boom!"
The Black Death quickly turned its guns around and fired at the Huntsman Hind, which was chasing them.
Lu Ze stood at the bow of the ship, watching the shells bombarding him. He pointed his finger, and invisible rules were immediately generated, slowing down the shells so that they eventually landed obediently in his hand.
He grabbed the shell, pulled his arm back, and then hurled it at the Black Death.
"Whoosh!"
The shell accelerated rapidly, emitting a sharp whistling sound.
"The Fallen Earl," "Magnified!"
Then, with a deafening roar, the stern of the Black Death was struck, large sections of planks were torn apart, and several unfortunate sailors screamed as they fell into the water.
