Chapter 74 [Time Reversal for Forty Years]

Jennifer Connelly said she liked sweet and sour food, and after thinking for a moment, Xiao Tu suggested going for Chinese food.

Jennifer exclaimed, "Wow, that's amazing! I've heard that Chinese is very difficult, and writing it is like drawing."

"You're amazing too. Aren't you fluent in Italian?"

Jennifer paused, her expression blank. "Huh? Did I tell you that?"

"No, I'm just guessing. If you don't speak Italian and the voice acting will be needed later, why would an Italian director cast you as the lead actress?"

The two chatted for a while, and then two dishes and a soup were served: sweet and sour pork, Kung Pao chicken, and tomato and egg soup. That was enough for the two of them, as the restaurant portions were quite large and they also needed rice.

Jennifer tried a bite of each dish and liked them all; she even said the tomato soup was delicious. Xiao Tu served her a small bowl of soup, and she giggled happily.

"When I was in Italy, I often drank Italian vegetable soup, which mainly consisted of tomatoes, potatoes, and green beans. I felt it wasn't as good as this."

Jennifer isn't a vegetarian yet; she enjoys both pork tenderloin and chicken. She's a bit clumsy with chopsticks and has no intention of switching to a fork, which she finds enjoyable.

"Thank you for inviting me to eat here, it was really delicious."

"You're welcome."

They ate and chatted, and Jennifer mentioned that she had just auditioned for a new film, "Seven Minutes in Heaven," and was likely to play the lead role. Xiao Tu remembered this film from when he looked up her information in 2003.

"Now that you've passed the audition, why don't you want to act?" Xiao Tu asked.
