Chapter 112: Hogsmeade Week
Chapter 112: Hogsmeade Week
On the lawn behind the castle, three young wizards dressed in thick robes once again emerged from the castle.
They ignored the rumbling thunder overhead, the howling wind crashing against the castle walls, and the crackling of branches snapping in the distant Forbidden Forest.
In a few hours, they will be battling the raging wind and rain in the outdoor greenhouse.
But their gazes were open and honest, and they even chatted and laughed occasionally. Of course, most of the time Justin was talking, Sheehan was nodding, and Neville was smiling shyly.
Doing something difficult alone can be painful and unbearable, but when the number of people is increased, the joy of those moments together is enough to outweigh the hardship.
Before even reaching the greenhouse, I could hear the noisy voices of the senior students:
"Bruce, you damn bastard! Get away from that gnarled vine!"
Just then, Senior Leon was waving his wand and moving other plants when, unexpectedly, Senior Bruce, who had just provoked the thorny vine, dashed behind Senior Pister.
Behind him, the knotted vine was waving its tendrils wildly, looking quite angry.
Through the stained-glass windows of Greenhouse No. 3, Sheen guessed that Bruce had touched its fruit. The book, *A Thousand Miraculous Herbs and Mushrooms*, mentions:
The bumpy vine is a vine that looks like a tree stump covered in bumps. It can produce pods the size of grapefruits. If anyone tries to take its pods, it will suddenly extend tendrils like tentacles to attack them.
Before Bruce could hide behind Pister, Pister, as if he had eyes in the back of his head, skillfully dodged Bruce. Finally, the vines of the knotted vine lashed out at Bruce's shoulder, and he let out two "howls" before instantly becoming much more obedient.
Professor Sprout looked at the three of them, her eyes crinkling with laughter, before she strode briskly away from Greenhouse No. 3.
Ah—her new buds are coming soon. Thanks to them, Greenhouse No. 1 is so well-organized now.
Yes, because greenhouses are inherently dangerous, the professor, Hufflepuff, and Sheen have always had different roles.
The professor would handle the most dangerous greenhouse, number seven, alone. It was said that there were even small 'hitting willows' inside, but it was unclear whether this was a rumor or not.
Bruce and his classmates were usually busy in Greenhouse No. 3, while Sheen and his classmates naturally took charge of the plants in Greenhouse No. 1.
At the entrance of Greenhouse No. 1, Sheen saw Bruce and his two seniors file into Greenhouse No. 3, with the vines of the Gnaphalium flaring wildly behind them.
"Aha!"
Bruce made a face at the greenhouse.
"Fool."
Leon looked at Bruce, whose hair was messy and who was covered in mud, and was speechless.
This guy just loves to stir up trouble.
"Oh! Look, it's little Green!"
Bruce had just turned around when his eyes lit up.
"I bet you're really looking forward to Hogsmeade Village, aren't you?"
He suddenly leaned closer with a mysterious smile and said...
"..."
Actually, no. If Bruce hadn't mentioned it, Sheen would have even forgotten about it, since it had nothing to do with young wizards.
"Ah."
Seeing the expectant look in his senior's eyes, Sheen tried to make himself look forward to it too.
“Oh—I told you, little Green, I would repay you, not just for the bet, or the shouting letter…”
Bruce raised an eyebrow; his brows were sharp, revealing a sharpness that was quite different from his affable demeanor.
"Take these and choose carefully!"
After he finished speaking, he hummed a little tune and pulled away Leon, who was still drinking water, and Pister, who had just received the seeds from Professor Sprout. Leon choked on a mouthful of pumpkin juice, and even from a distance, Sheen could hear Bruce's subsequent scream.
……
As he entered the greenhouse, Sheen casually opened the letter. Actually... he had been feeling that he had been receiving too many letters lately.
However, what the young wizard apparently didn't notice was that it seemed to be because he spoke too little.
Not a penny of profit! Little Green, are you surprised? You've received this Hogsmeade Village shopping list.
Although I was happy to help you pay, Leon wouldn't let me use his wallet...
It would be strange if Senior Leon agreed...
Sheen continued reading:
The good news is that Pister agreed to let me use his wallet to pay for all your purchases alone.
So please shop with confidence—don't worry about your wallet!
Senior Pister...
Sheen recalled that kind and gentle face.
You can try to share the list with your friends—remember?
Hufflepuff's philosophy is—Share!
Don't worry about whether I can handle it or not; I won't let Leon and Pistol's hands, shoulders, and necks be idle.
But don't let there be too many people, otherwise Pistols' neck won't be able to support the weight.
Attached is a list:
(Device-Bans Shop: Magical Repair Tools;)
Honey Duke Candy Shop: Lollipop Quills, Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans...
Wenrenju Quill Pen Specialty Store: Automatic error correction ink, automatic answer quill pens, homework planners, etc.
Hogsmeade Weekly suddenly became involved with Sheen again, and looking at the attached list, Sheen felt a little more expectant.
There are many interesting things in the magical world, and Sheen plans to purchase more parchment, ink, and the like.
There were a few other things that Sheen was also interested in, such as the homework planner—a small notebook that could magically track a student's learning progress. Each page turned would remind the student to complete their homework on time, and only after completing their homework could they do what they liked.
This way, Sheen spends much less time on notes; he only needs to look through them.
For example, there's Eternal Ink—a special ink that imbues any writing with magic, ensuring it never fades.
In short, it was a very original surprise, and Sheen was slightly stunned.
In October, the weather grew colder and rainier, and the nights became even darker, but the mud, strong winds, and torrential rain could not dampen the joy of the three as they emerged from the greenhouse.
"You mean—Sheen, are the senior students willing to help us purchase supplies in Hogsmeade Village?"
Justin could hardly believe it. They had just finished envying those older wizards, and now luck had struck them so quickly!
The three of them trudged through the wet ground, splashing mud everywhere.
"Oh my god! We have to tell Hermione this good news right away. She's read through the information about Hogsmeade Village over and over again!"
Justin whispered expectantly.
Neville and Justin's eyes were glued to the seven parchments Sheen pulled out from behind the letter.
