Chapter 122: Rumors

Chapter 122: Rumors
The girls' restroom was cold and damp, and the cubicles were also cold and damp.

The stench spread like despair.

Hermione knew she was in grave danger, and only then did she realize how foolish she had been.

In the Hope Hut, she had so many friends, so many precious friends... yet she was sad and upset because of unimportant people, and locked herself in the girls' washroom to cry.

The sound of the giant's enormous feet dragging on the ground was so clear not far away.
But Sheen arrived even faster than the trolls:

"Don't be afraid, Hermione, take my hand."

She stared ahead in disbelief as Sheen's body blocked the shadows behind the door.

Sheehan gently helped Hermione up and used Transfiguration to turn another cubicle door into a stool for Hermione to sit down.

But this also means that he is completely exposed to the troll's vision.

"Sheen! Watch out!"

Seeing the troll raise its club, Hermione, with a burst of strength from who knows where, shouted.

"Stay inside, or I'll be distracted if you come out."

Sheen said one last thing and then closed the cubicle door.

The giant club it swung made a sharp, whistling sound as it pierced the air, and a massive shadow enveloped Sheen.

Faced with this behemoth, Sheen suddenly felt that it was a bit too fairytale-like for Ron to knock him out with a wooden stick.
In this situation, if Sheen could use the Levitation Charm to take the stick from his hand, it would be no less than if he could uproot a tree.

but……

"Flipendo! (Retreat the enemy three feet!)"

The bright light flashed and disappeared in an instant. The wooden stick in the giant's hand seemed to be an obstacle, and it was suddenly lifted upwards as soon as it was about to fall.

At this moment, Sheen suddenly paused and began to reflect on himself, which was quite inappropriate.

Why did I first think of the knockback spell?
Am I... really the Dark Lord?

Seeing that the troll was still moving, Sheen waved his wand, and the wooden door of compartment number three instantly transformed into two eagles, which pecked at the troll after a long cry.

In just a moment, it pecked out one of its eyes.

Behind him, Sheen's breathing became slightly heavy. He did not stop for a moment, using the Repel Charm and Levitate Charm to keep pulling at the wooden stick in the giant's hand.

The wooden stick was soon in Sheen's hands.

After thinking for a moment, Sheen used a levitation charm to move all the wooden doors except Hermione's compartment over.

When the troll finally managed to get rid of the eagle, it was faced with a wooden stick three times larger than before.

As expected, it met its great-grandmother.

If it exists.

Only after the giant's massive body crashed down behind the door, and its coconut-like bald head turned into two dimensions, did Sheen slowly enter the cubicle.

He heard noises outside the girls' restroom. Hermione's face was covered in tears, so he went to hand her a tissue.

But how could I be so natural...?

Sheen began to reflect again.

Perhaps he saw too many dead people in the orphanage.
he thinks.

Inside the compartment.

The moment Hermione saw Sheen's face, she put down her wand. She stared at Sheen for a while before noticing that there were still some tears in the corners of her eyes.

"You're really late..."

She spoke with a slight tremor, as if trying to cram all her grievances and worries for her friend into her voice.

"Yeah, my question."

Sheen said softly, then handed over a tissue.

"No! It's my fault! How could I have paid attention to those idiots' words and forgotten my true friends!" Hermione thought she had cried all her tears, but when she saw Sheen coming despite the danger, she still had so many grievances to say.

……

Doorway.

They heard a loud "bang," but the door remained locked, and Justin and Neville were as anxious as ants on a hot plate.

"Use the unlocking charm!"

Harry ran down the corridor, with a pale-faced Ron beside him.

"Can you do it? Let me try..."

Ron's hand trembled as he raised his wand, yet he still managed to recite the spell steadily, as if he had unleashed his potential in a moment of crisis.

The door lock clicked open, and everyone knew it was unlocked, but the door remained motionless.

It's as if something is blocking the door from behind.

Justin's eyes turned red. He roared and slammed his fist into the door. Neville, understanding his intention, did the same.

Ron charged over with a roar, and then charged inside with another roar...

Sheen opened the door and was slightly stunned to see Ron collapsed on the giant's corpse.

"Ron!"

Harry gasped, for Ron was in a really bad situation; he was face to face with the troll's two-dimensional head.

"Well……"

Ron groggily got up from the ground, saw the troll's two-dimensional head, screamed, and fainted again.

Inside the room, the six people surrounded the giant monster, momentarily forgetting to speak.

"Sheen, are you and Hermione... alright?"

Justin first looked Sheehan and Hermione over to make sure they weren't injured before he breathed a sigh of relief.

Neville started trembling again, not daring to look at the giant.

Harry shook Ron awake, and the two looked at Hermione with complicated expressions, then secretly glanced at Sheen.

"fine."

Sheen said with a smile.

Hermione looked at the concerned group, and the offensive words Ron and Harry had said earlier vanished from her mind.

They actually... risked their lives to come find me.

Meanwhile, she frowned and gently handed Justin and Neville tissues—their hands were injured, apparently from hitting the door, and were still bleeding.

"It's good that you're alright... So, that rumor is true?"

Justin wiped his hands, then carefully asked a question.
"It was you who single-handedly took on the troll and defeated the werewolf with your bare hands..."

"My God, Professor Snape really gave you ten Galleons and even cooked two dishes for you?!"

Harry's focus always seems to veer off course when it comes to Professor Snape.

Doorway.

Professor McGonagall, who had just arrived, had a strange look on her usually serious face, and Professor Snape's eyes looked like he wanted to kill someone.

"Harry Potts! How dare you openly break school rules! What kind of trick are you playing?"

He strode in, giving Harry a piercing glare, his voice filled with chilling anger.
"Even if you're lucky and it doesn't kill you, why don't you just stay in your dorm? Our famous celebrity, does he think he can defeat a giant monster?!"

But when he looked at the giant monster at his feet, his expression changed, and he quickly locked onto the cautious little wizard.

Sheehan lowered his head, instinctively feeling that the professors were more terrifying than the trolls.

Snape's voice sounded like it was being squeezed from the back of his throat, filled with suppressed rage.
"Ravenclaw, deduct 100 points! Sheehan Green! For daring to come looking for trolls! Do you really think you're a troll?!"
"Then I regret to inform you that trolls also fight each other!"
