Chapter 134: Inheritance

Chapter 134: Inheritance

I rest here in eternal sleep, but I am already elsewhere.
I still know nothing about the vast ocean of potions.
But now, has it performed a miracle?

This small portion of Polacht's work is dedicated to all wizards who have been searching for the will of magic potions.

The winds and snows of history over the centuries have been buried by time.

Hidden deep within the Scottish Highlands, the howling winds shatter against the hard, cold city walls.

Sheen sat alone by the window, one heavy ancient book after another open on his lap. His gaze would sometimes sweep over the winding words on the pages, and sometimes drift towards the chaotic darkness outside the window.

Each flash of lightning briefly illuminated the turbulent black lake below the tower.

He understood something: the power of the potion's will would eventually move from strengthening and guiding to fusion.

Behind the grand adventures of Masters Zygmunt Bach and Lipasch Pollack, the Arctic Ocean and the Nile River are merging in the damp clouds—

So Sheen grasped a plain, sky-blue quill pen in his hand, and at that moment, it seemed as if three hands were supporting it—

Next, I will demonstrate the framework of the Potion Will system—

Improved rituals, willpower enhancement methods, willpower guidance methods...

Until the final fusion enlightenment method.

Sheen wrote the method on the back of the parchment, just as Master Ribasius Pollach had done before.

As Sheen was writing, the parchment, as he had expected, made a copy of itself, which was then inserted between the pages and slowly disappeared.

Sheen stared blankly at the parchment in his hand. In the corner of the paper, a powerful character had quietly appeared. Unlike the pages of Sheen's book with Professor Snape and others, it was an ancient rune symbol: Ken.

This rune means light, and this light illuminates the path ahead.

Sheen stared at the note in his hand for a long time, knowing that knowledge would never end.

……

When Sheen slowly woke up, he happened to see Michael righteously refusing someone.

After Sheen woke up, he picked up the watering can and started watering the pot of bubble beans again.

Snow was still falling outside the black, diamond-patterned window, and Michael was muttering something lightly:
"Oh—poor Bubble Pod, I don't see anyone here all day, I guess no one's watering you..."

Sheen now understood why the bubble pod had shriveled so much recently.

After watering the plants outside of Sheen's planned area, Michael got up early the next morning and started studying Sheen's Quidditch training book again.

Yes, although he only mentioned it briefly last time, Sheen still found the notebook and gave it to him.

To enter the Ravenclaw common room, you have to go up a staircase, and you can hear people coming down the stairs.

"What a genius... Controlling himself, guiding magic, no wonder those guys wanted to recruit him into Quidditch... But I could tell long ago that Sheen didn't like Quidditch."

Still the Seeker! Those idiots, why didn't they go for me? I'm way more durable than Sheehan…

"If I could help Sheen hit someone or be hit myself, maybe I'd support these guys who disturb people's sleep so early in the morning."

He heard a knock on the door again, and this time he opened it without thinking and quickly slipped out—Anthony and Terry were outside.

In the days that followed, Sheen's life became very regular.

In the morning, he would be the first to arrive at Hope's Hut, with Justin always arriving a minute after him. This way, they would share the food Justin had just made.

Scottish breakfasts are known for their hearty full-course English meal, and Justin always prepares at least three different types of food each morning.

Paired with a steaming cup of honey grapefruit tea, it always makes the wind and snow outside seem to be blurred in the steam.

Sheen will first improve his own notes. Recently, the progress of the History of Magic and Astronomy has been very slow, and he is basically in the process of supplementing them. Sheen has completed the third-year part of the History of Magic, but the versions in the hands of the young wizards are still at the first half of the first year.
Spells and Transfiguration are the most frequently updated topics. Although most of the young wizards in the classroom cannot understand the later content, it does not stop them from taking a look every day. If they see progress, they are happier than if they have learned it themselves.

The Potions and Herbs notes became the most frequently borrowed items, since not everyone could remember every word Professor Snape said after class.

As for the herbal notes, Neville and Justin helped to supplement them.

The Defense Against the Dark Arts notes were rather special because without looking at Sheen's notes, one could only learn on one's own. So Justin made two copies and would quietly update them every day.

Many plants were planted in the classroom, and under the influence of magic, they gradually began to grow, making the classroom lush and green.

Neville would carefully adjust the direction of the plants' growth so they wouldn't block the classroom space. Justin always praised him as a herbalist, and at first he would blush and feel embarrassed, but now he was starting to believe him.

Outside, a snowstorm raged, but the Hope Hut was warm and cozy thanks to the fire in the fireplace.

Hermione came in carrying books, followed by Neville carrying a flowerpot.

Around noon, the three of them went to the greenhouse to help with the plants.

After the storms of October, Sheen's knowledge of herbs had reached the "beginner" level, and he was striving towards becoming a "proficient" practitioner.

However, the progress of learning herbalism, like potion-making, is not always fast, but it is consistent and steady.

The same place where the snow melts, above the marble staircase in the foyer, beside the corridor.

The room was small, but the fireplace was burning warmly.

Minerva McGonagall has been waiting for an owl to brave the snowstorm, and lately it has almost become a habit for her.

When letters arrived from faraway London, she couldn't resist going to see the little guy.

Look at his emerald green eyes, which often reveal a yearning for magic.

Perhaps he asked for nothing, or perhaps he never possessed anything at all...

Letters from Croydon often caused her stern face to pause slightly.

When the snowstorm intensified, the three of them, including Sheen, appeared, wrapped in thick robes.

Their boots left footprints of varying depths on the thin layer of snow, and Neville would look longingly at Sheehan.

So Sheen waved his wand, and a salamander scurried out of the jar and climbed onto Neville's head in a few breaths.

Neville quickly buried his head in the snow, sticking his butt out, and then watched with a silly grin as the fire lizard burned a trail in the snow.

Lately, the fire lizard has become increasingly unruly. At the same time, Sheen feels that he is close to becoming an expert in the advanced branch of Transfiguration—the transformation of objects into "magic," but he is just lacking a catalyst.

Sheen was not in a hurry, but patiently waited for inspiration to appear.
