Chapter 172: Master-Level Transfiguration

Chapter 172: Master-Level Transfiguration

Sheen never stopped learning Transfiguration, believing it to be an extremely practical and effective spell, whether used in combat or daily life.

Almost all magic masters possess some form of transfiguration, and the truly great wizards are all highly skilled in it.

Just like Principal Dumbledore, just like Grindelwald...

Thanks to his special talent bonus, Sheen always makes rapid progress in advanced transformation magic, turning "objects" into "magic".

He tried to shape the flames into different forms, such as—

Sheen waved his wand, and a fire crab emerged from the fireplace.

"Amazing!"

Professor McGonagall exclaimed that very few young wizards could master multiple advanced transfiguration forms in their early years.

This is a field that requires a significant amount of time to explore.

Professor McGonagall was about to speak when she saw a fire lizard run out of the fireplace. It was incredibly fast, leaving a long trail of flame on the ground, which then transformed into patterns etched onto the fire crab's body.

Minerva McGonagall nodded with satisfaction. "Very good Transfiguration."

But when she looked at Sheen, she found that he was still focused.

In the Transfiguration Office.

The fire crab slowly swelled up to the size of a chair, waving its pincers with a "kaba kaba" sound, blocking Sheen's figure as he waved his wand.

Sheen was already struggling, but his eyes were burning with determination; he hadn't reached his limit yet.

He finally understood why Dumbledore's entire body swayed slightly with a peculiar rhythm when he used the Vulcan spell to clear the way.

He seems to have entered this state now, guided by his magical instincts.

He had always kept the professor's teachings in mind and never pushed himself to the brink of losing control, but now he had to see the limits of advanced transfiguration.

The fire crab kept growing bigger and bigger until it reached the ceiling of the entire classroom. Although it only lasted for two seconds, it was still quite awe-inspiring.

The most terrifying thing is that its body is covered with the patterns of a fire lizard, which is a form of multiple shapeshifting.

It can make transformation spells more complex and stable, and cannot be broken by ordinary restoration spells.

Sheen had been experimenting with multiple transformations long before he learned advanced transformations, because he knew that single transformations were extremely easy to break through with counterspells.

When it comes to battles between wizards, it's all about breaking spells and attacking. For example, stopping a curse or reversing a dark magic spell are both effects of breaking a curse.

Now, it's like he's added a lock to his magic. Breaking his transformation spell in the short term has become extremely difficult; even if it is broken, it's not a big deal, because he probably won't last more than a few seconds anyway.

"This is--"

Professor McGonagall looked up and slowly watched as the fire crab transformed into flames and darted into the fireplace.

The dim fireplace suddenly burst into flames again.

Outside the door, several upperclassmen Ravenclaws who were secretly peeking through the crack in the door were dumbfounded.

"Is this still a first-year wizard? I don't think I'm even at this level in fifth grade."

Toya from the Quidditch team stared wide-eyed in disbelief.

"I guess I'm still half asleep..."

Roger Davis muttered to himself, twisting his hand.

Then a suppressed scream was heard.

"You can pinch yourself, Davis!"

Toya hissed angrily.

"Doesn't this hurt?" Roger chuckled.

"Let's duel, you damned Davis! Because of your mistake, the world of Transfiguration has gained an insignificant Dumbledore, but the world of Quidditch has lost its Eunice Murray!"

Toya was furious.

He was referring to Eunice Murray, an extremely famous Seeker. This wizard is the heart and soul of the Montrose Magpies.

He once led the Montrose Magpies to become the most successful team in the English-Irish League, winning the UEFA Cup 32 times. They also won the European Championship twice and have fans all over the world.

He said things including, but not limited to: "Increase the speed of flying thieves, because they're too easy to catch now!"

“I don’t agree. I think he is Rodri Plenton.”

Another Ravenclaw joined the battle, raising his wand.

"Let's duel, you damned Davis! You and me!"

The Rodri Plenton he mentioned is the captain of the Tathill Tornadoes, who led the team to five consecutive UEFA Cup victories, breaking the record set by both Britain and Ireland.

This legendary Seeker played a key role in the England team a total of 22 times, holding the British record for the fastest catch of a snitch in a single game (three and a half seconds, in a match against the Cafferty Snitch team in 1921).

So, what kind of things do people feel extremely regretful and remorseful about?

That's when they might have gotten it but missed it. The regret will grow stronger with each passing day.

Roger Davis took off running, with the angry Ravenclaw Quidditch team behind him.

If they could remain united in their hatred of the enemy like this… Penelope thought, watching the scene in silence, they still had a good chance of competing for this year's Quidditch Cup. That way, Ravenclaw could break Slytherin's seven-year winning streak.

With Sheen Green on their team, they are undeniably dominant in both Professorial Points and Quidditch.

This is the most promising year ever...

Even if it means using some manipulative tactics, she has to help Ravenclaw accomplish this!
Their attention was focused on the Transfiguration Office.

Minerva McGonagall was no less excited than they were.

“Incredible! I’m so proud of you, my… child.”

Professor McGonagall said instinctively.

Upon hearing this from outside the door, Prefect Penelope reacted as if she had won the Wizarding Lottery. She clenched her hands together, and her breath formed a white mist on the window.

She carefully dispelled the Whispering Charm and the Disillusionment Charm, then walked faster and faster until she left the Transfiguration office.

Everyone was excited, including Sheen.

[You have practiced an advanced Transfiguration spell to the standard of a master, proficiency +3000]

This was the first time he had used a master-level advanced Transfiguration spell, proving that within two seconds, he could even fight a regular professor... well, a regular Auror.

Although his transformation skills reached the Master level, it doesn't mean his actual combat ability has reached that level.

In battle, no wizard would allow him to cast a spell for that long, let alone for only two seconds.

But there's no doubt that he could easily remain hidden. Without his opponent's knowledge, he could still achieve a surprising victory.

At this moment, the Transfiguration office fell into silence.

After a moment of silence, the professor slowly began to speak:

"Please choose your life carefully, my child. I know you have already heard the call from afar in your heart, and you no longer need to look back and care about everything behind you."

Don't dwell on the past, child, move forward.
