Chapter 173: 3 Questions
Chapter 173: Three Questions
Animagus is a milestone even in the entire history of transfiguration.
If a wizard thinks that all it takes is good luck to complete a ritual, he is sorely mistaken.
For example, when silently reciting incantations and imagining the steps of transformation, if the wizard's will to transform is not strong enough, then when practicing to become an Animagus, he may go astray and be unable to transform back into a normal human.
For example, at the end, the wizard will feel intense pain and two rapid heartbeats. The creature they are about to transform into will also appear in their mind. If they cannot appear fearless, it will be too late to escape the promised change.
Overall, this is a long-term ritual magic.
Its length and rigor make it unsuitable for a wizard to complete alone, since even the most determined wizard will inevitably have moments of weakness.
For example, James and others back then helped each other to accomplish their goals;
For example, Professor McGonagall was guided by Headmaster Dumbledore to complete her Animagus transformation.
So when he left the Transfiguration office, Professor McGonagall told him that they had to have all the materials ready and choose a careful time.
In addition, the professor gave him a copy of his own notes, urging Sheen to read it as soon as possible, no matter what.
So Sheen got busy again.
He not only needs to select materials for intermediate alchemy and learn more difficult runes, but also needs to memorize this notebook as soon as possible to ensure that there will be no mistakes in the Animagus transformation later.
Inside the Hope Hut.
Sheehan found himself in a rare predicament, only realizing how difficult it was for a wizard to transform into a magical creature after unlocking Lady Lorris's intimacy.
First, the materials used in the past could not bear such a heavy responsibility, and many runes could not produce sufficient effect.
Secondly, aside from these fundamental issues, the magic of wizards and the magic of magical creatures are in conflict. These two are almost irreconcilable.
This may be the real reason why wizards' Animagus cannot transform into magical creatures.
Similarly, to date, no magic has emerged in the field of transfiguration that can transform wizards into magical creatures.
Even the owl that Sheen conjured was just an owl without the title of "magical creature".
Finally, there was even the problem of the wizard's will being unable to be maintained—insufficient basic materials, magical conflicts, and a lack of will. These three problems made Sheen realize that his current research seemed to be something that had never existed in the history of wizarding.
He is walking a path that no ancient wizard has ever walked before.
The more intense the fire, the fiercer it seemed to burn in the fireplace.
In fact, Sheen had already had many ideas.
Magic should be connected by a fundamental thread.
If the world of potions can produce a potion like Polyjuice Potion that can maintain sanity and allow wizards to use magic, why can't alchemy do the same?
Sheen slowly took out a slip of paper:
That old witch Miranda Goshak (crossed out) mentioned in the Book of Spells:
When a wizard has a need, he will create a spell; if not, it simply means that the spell has not yet been discovered.
Now I assert that if wizards have a need, potions will be created; if not, then the potion recipe simply hasn't been discovered yet.
Now, Sheen silently thought—when wizards have needs, they will create alchemical artifacts; if not, then it can only mean that the alchemical artifact has not yet been discovered.
Magic is inherently a power of the mind.
So Sheen put aside his questions and prepared to seek out Professor Terra to learn the profound knowledge of ancient magic runes.
These past few days, there have been more Hufflepuffs looking around in the hallway. Sheen silently put down the biscuits in his hand and quickly entered the hallway.
At the end of the corridor, a headless wizard wearing a long robe suddenly ran out from under the portrait.
"Senior Fred."
Sheen called out politely and was about to walk past them to the alchemy office.
"That's amazing! I was wearing a headless hat and didn't even say a word! How could you still recognize me?"
Fred removed his hat, and his head immediately became visible.
"I bet even my mom wouldn't recognize me."
George took over the conversation.
The headless hats in their hands are a prank they invented; they are pointed hats decorated with pink feathers that can make the wearer's head disappear (along with the hat).
Sheen stared at his sweater for a second; it was blue with a large, yellow "F" on it.
“Okay, we mean, about… the Weasleys Trick Room.”
This time it was George who spoke, his eyes shining, as he produced a short letter signed "Green" in large letters. "Hmm."
Sheen nodded.
"You're not even asking how many Galleons we need?!"
Fred exclaimed.
"How many?"
Sheen asked.
“One thousand, no, eight hundred! You know… we want to go to Diagon Alley.”
George was a little embarrassed.
"Ah."
Sheen nodded.
"what?!"
The twins shouted together.
"You agreed?!"
They were perfectly in sync and spoke in unison.
Sheehan found it strange that the Weasleys, who had been clinging to him before, were now hesitant to accept his agreement.
“We all know that Galleons are hard-won…”
George's eyes widened as he spoke.
"Although we are already as close as brothers, and although you are the great Green... we have only known each other for one semester!"
Fred tried to explain, but no matter what he did, it didn't make sense.
"I agree."
Sheehan repeated that he knew them, and it seemed like it had been more than just one semester.
"You...believe us? Am I crying, George?"
Fred felt a cool sensation on his face.
"Feel it yourself, I can't see it, Fred."
George covered himself with a headless hat.
"Do you really trust us? Even if we've never opened a store before, and we don't have enough products right now, we might very well waste your Galleons?"
The twins asked together.
"It has always been so."
Sheen stared ahead, a bag floated out of his bag, and he left the corridor.
"Great Green—your friend Fred offers you his sincerest respect!"
He heard someone shouting behind him.
"Great Green—your friend George will forever follow your will!"
Sheen quickened his pace, pretending not to hear, and left the corridor with light steps.
You can eat whatever you want for dinner, but you can't say that!
Deep in the corridor.
The largest group around the black cat statue was Hufflepuff, facing the edge of the stained glass window, where sunlight shone through and onto the quiet oil painting of a young girl.
An old wizard with a long, white beard stood beneath the portrait, his eyes holding a deep smile and a fleeting look of surprise.
He admitted that he had misjudged the situation more than once.
A lucky black cat, right?
Crab, cicada and cat, milky oppa candy, flying pink elephant, towering cliff without desire, apple flipping through a book, I'm gone, the treacherous sky's reward!
Thank you, leader of the Silent Light Walker Alliance!
Thank you for your support. I hope the guild leader will add an extra chapter later and release it together with the last chapter.
Dear readers, you can read it tomorrow morning.
