Chapter 248: The Dinner

Chapter 248: The Dinner

Fred and George were chased and beaten by Mrs. Weasley again.

"It's a very common thing."

Ron walked over and handed Sheehan an apple.

Right now, Sheen is watching the splashing water in the pool where the used knives are being automatically cleaned.

“I said, Sheen—it’s a holiday now.”

Ron took a bite out of his apple.

……

Mr. Weasley is back.

He seemed to have known for a long time that Sheen was coming; the twins told him:
“That’s a great… well, a wizard with a talent for alchemy just like us… I’d like to see the Burrow’s structure and the flying car…”

Mr. Weasley closed the door as soon as he entered, then took a deep breath. Just as he was about to speak, he saw Sheehan staring at the automatic dishwashing machine.

A quiet little wizard.

he thinks.

"Mr. Green?"

He said hello.

“Mr. Weasley”.

Sheehan responded that after seeing Mr. Weasley take off his glasses and slump in a kitchen chair with his eyes closed,
Then they went on to observe the bowls and chopsticks.

He vaguely sensed some kind of trick, and was just waiting to verify it...

An enticing aroma wafted from the kitchen, and the long table was almost bent under the weight of heavy ceramic plates. In the very center sat a golden-brown roast chicken, surrounded by a small mountain of juicy roasted potatoes, while buttered peas and carrots glistened in the firelight.

With a wave of her wand, Molly placed the large bowl filled with stew steadily on the tablecloth.

"Kids, eat it while it's hot!"

Her cheeks were rosy, and she brought over a stack of fluffy puddings.

George snatched the chicken leg first, and Fred pretended to complain, but his hand quickly grabbed a chicken wing.

Ron's plate was piled high with food, and he was trying hard not to drip any gravy onto his shirt. Percy, meanwhile, was still diligently rating each dish.

"Mom, this—"

Percy frowned, but his tone changed automatically after meeting Mrs. Weasley's eyes.
"is acceptable."

"These peas are really good,"

Arthur Weasley took a bite, his eyes narrowing behind his glasses.

A very cute little witch remained silent and ate her meal quietly.

Mrs. Weasley observed each child's reaction, which was one of her favorite moments.

"But today has been quite a day; the Ministry of Magic has started a search for no reason."

Mr. Weasley continued.

"Did you find anything, Dad?"

Fred asked.

"There are only a few room keys that can shrink."

Mr. Weasley said with a yawn,
Why would anyone make a key that shrinks?

George asked.

"Playing pranks on those Muggles,"

Mr. Weasley sighed,

“Sell a key to a Muggle, and eventually the key shrinks to nothing, and when you need it, you can’t find it… Of course, this is hard to convince anyone, because no Muggle will admit that their key is shrinking—they will insist that the key is lost.”

These Muggles, they can always be blind to magic, even when it's right in front of them..."

Before Mr. Weasley could say anything, the twins started poking him in the waist, and even Molly, Mrs. Weasley, glared at him angrily.

He then realized that there was a Muggle wizard in his house.

While they were all watching Sheen, Sheen was locked in a fierce battle with Pudding.

“Don’t talk nonsense, little Grimm is a Muggle wizard.” Molly breathed a sigh of relief, then continued,
"But you really need to take a good look. Fred and George have sneaked off to the shop again, without saying a word! And they even brought little Green with them—do you have anything to say, hmm?"

"really?"

Mr. Weasley asked hastily,
"You and Little Grimm's Magic Trick Shop are opening? I—I mean,"

Seeing the anger flash in Mrs. Weasley's eyes, he quickly changed his tune.

"This is very wrong, children, very, very wrong..."

Mrs. Weasley puffed out her chest like a bullfrog.

"They're going to argue for a while,"

Ron waited a moment, then whispered to Sheehan.
"Have you finished eating? Are you going to pull out some goblins?"

Goblin?

This word caught Sheen's attention.

"I hope your parents won't quarrel like mine."

Ron told Sheen the goblin's location as he slipped out.

At that moment, he had a strange feeling that the goblins in his house were going to move! There was nothing that Sheen couldn't solve; they had proven that countless times.

Sheehan didn't speak. For no reason, he thought of the taciturn Professor McGonagall and Professor Snape.

He nodded silently.

Getting rid of goblins isn't difficult. After catching a goblin, spin it around in circles until it gets dizzy, then throw it over the garden wall. This will drive the goblin out of the garden.

"This will disorient them and prevent them from finding the goblin cave."

That's what Ron said.

Then a group of goblins who had flown and landed came in a sparse line, their little shoulders hunched, and they were crying at Sheen's feet.

Sheen looked at them curiously. Was his magical creature affinity really that useful?

This bizarre scene left Ginny, who had just run out of the house, wide-eyed.

"Well, we can't get rid of them anyway. They'll come back sooner or later."

They like it here… Dad is too lenient with them; he thinks they're very funny…”

Ron said helplessly,
"No wonder you manage the forbidden forest so well."

……

Life in the humble dwelling was very stable.

Mrs. Weasley was often at home, so Sheehan learned some household magic from her.

It's called "household magic," but it's anything but easy.

Mrs. Weasley shared almost everything she knew, and Sheehan began to understand something.

"When using different magical powers, wizards need to instinctively divide them into several parts. For example, when knitting a sweater, they need to separate the magical powers and will that make the needles move and the yarn move..."

For example, when washing dishes, the wizard needs to allocate magical power to the dishcloth and the bowl in a prioritized manner. The dishcloth requires most of the wizard's attention, while the bowl, which only needs to be suspended, obviously does not...

Wizards use simple, varying, and multiplied magical powers to accomplish complex tasks in this way…

Sheehan explained his point of view, while Mrs. Weasley listened quietly, her plump figure appearing kindly in the sunlight.

“That’s great—Little Green, it’s not easy to understand this.”

She carefully took a clean notebook from the pile of old books in the living room.

It contains Mrs. Weasley's occasional notes and reflections.

"I never expected anyone would come to learn this... Oh, don't be offended."

she says.

"this--"

Sheen looked at the notes as if they were a secret manual; it was rare for a wizard to study magic in such detail.

Because performing at 80% of their potential was enough for them, but now, Sheen may have found a further way.
