Chapter 249: The Alchemy Title

Chapter 249: The Alchemy Title

The Weasley & Grimm Wizarding Arts are opening soon.

During this period, Fred and George went to the store every day.

Sheehan didn't pay much attention; he was busy improving his broom-cleaning skills, practicing his finesse magic, and helping Mrs. Weasley with housework.

The Weasleys were full of wonder and surprises. The mirror on the kitchen mantel was always commenting on everyone. Every morning when people looked in the mirror, it would shout:

"Tuck your shirt into your pants, it looks sloppy!"

There was a ghoul in the attic. Whenever it felt the house was too quiet, it would howl loudly and bang on the pipes.

But the Weasleys seemed to have gotten used to it, and they even liked the ghoul.

Similarly, the small explosions in Fred and George's bedroom were considered perfectly normal.

So whenever Sheehan came downstairs with his cleaning broom, Mrs. Weasley would rave about his alchemical creations.

"A broom? A broom to help a wizard clean his room—darling, that's wonderful, it cleans so well!"

The Weasleys were very welcoming.

Mrs. Weasley knitted socks for Sheehan; Mr. Weasley liked to sit next to Sheehan at meals and would incessantly ask him about Muggle life, how the telephone and the post office worked.

"That's wonderful!"

After Sheen finished explaining how to use the phone, he sighed.

"What geniuses! Muggles have come up with so many ways to live without magic."

It was a bright and sunny morning. Sheen got up early and began to inscribe the magic runes on the cleaning broom, creating a more intricate array of runes for it.

The cabin was cozy and bright, with various books piled together, yet it didn't look cluttered. In a place marked with a magical barrier, Sheen finally mastered the cleaning broom to expert level.

A new alchemy title has been unlocked. Please check it out.

Sheen admitted that he was getting a little impatient:
[Title: High-Level Alchemist]

[Greatly increases perception of alchemical magic, greatly enhances alchemical talent, and significantly improves a wizard's control over alchemical rituals.]

Significantly enhance control over alchemical rituals?
Sheen began to understand that this was leading him down the path of pioneering magical rituals.

He had just put down his cleaning broom when a paper airplane flew through the wall:

"Mr. Green, the renovation is complete."

—Your loyal servant: Quirrell.

Sheen laid the paper airplane flat, and it became a blank sheet of paper again, so Sheen put the blank sheet of paper into his bag.

After informing Mrs. Molly, he took the Floo Powder into the fireplace.

With the shop reopening these past few days, Mrs. Molly has unusually relaxed the restrictions—allowing them to go to Diagon Alley, but only if they register and use it under her supervision.

Diagon Alley.

Sheen's figure was engulfed by the flames in the fireplace, his body seemingly spinning rapidly... The howling sound was deafening...

And so, we arrived at Diagon Alley.

Sheen walked skillfully to the entrance of shop number seventy-seven, which had been decorated in a particularly interesting way.

Its door is a huge leather book, and when it is pushed open, the copper bells hum a beautiful melody.

"Mr. Green—"

Professor Quirrell walked over quickly.

“Oh, you see, that alchemy workshop is opening soon.” Following his gaze, Sheehan saw that the Weasley & Grimm Magical Tricks shop was packed with people; today was the last day before the opening.

Some people even planned to stay here and not leave, just waiting for dawn to start their big shopping spree.

The stark contrast between the empty shops in front of Fairy Tale Square and the deserted storefronts only adds to the melancholy.

“That’s a…thriving shop, Mr. Green. They’ve built up their popularity over the past six months. Are we going to open at the same time as them?”

Professor Quirrell asked.

"No need to worry."

Sheen said.

“Okay, sir. The people from the International Magical Trade Standards Association will be here shortly, and we need to go through some checks.”

Once the store has been operating for a month, we can apply to connect to the Floo Fan Network.

Professor Quirrell then reported.

The International Magical Trade Standards Association is an organization responsible for overseeing and evaluating trade practices in the magical world, as well as for enacting and implementing international laws governing standard trade practices.

In 1994, Percy joined the Ministry of Magic, where he first worked in this department. At the time, the Standards Institute was preparing to standardize the thickness of imported crucibles, and Percy even wrote a report on this.

The fireplace in Fairy Tale House was enchanted, warming the entire room. After a short wait, the doorbell rang.

"The examination is usually quite tedious, so you can take a break while you wait."

Professor Quirrell said so.

Sheen nodded, but then he saw two familiar faces: Riley August, the vice president of the International Wizarding Federation, and Ollie Mitchell of the Auror Division.

“Mr. Green—it’s a pleasure to see you here. To be honest, we’ve been waiting for this day for far too long.”

Mr. Riley August strode over and gently shook Sheehan's hand while Professor Quirrell was somewhat taken aback.

“Consider it, Mr. Green, we are willing to raise the price to eight hundred Galleons—”

Olivia Mitchell still can't forget about this.

Professor Quirrell didn't react for a moment, then saw the two of them turn around perfunctorily twice before respectfully handing over a permit.

This is a business license, which in most cases is synonymous with complicated procedures and strict, even harsh, regulations.

Because of the existence of magic, wizards are naturally more capable of causing destruction. The "Poop Pollution Incident" once occurred in Diagon Alley, which further widened the censorship standards.

Now, Professor Quirrell felt as if it were a blank sheet of paper that had been casually tossed aside.

Could it be... that there's really a chance to save the shop's business?
……

Riley August was in a good mood today. As one of the first wizards to arrive, they received some fairytale cookies ahead of time.

Although it's not much, it's enough.

Upon returning to the organization, a figure with a broad head and large ears approached:

"Riley, do you know how many wizards want to connect to the FlooPowder Network every year? Some people want to connect to ten different sites at once!"
You know perfectly well I've already worked overtime for three days, and you still want me to rush out and install something for an emergency household—no way! Let me tell you, that's impossible!

He had dark circles under his eyes and was muttering to himself.

"Really not going?"

Riley was very interested.

"If I go there, I'll be a Floppy caterpillar!"

The chubby office worker with a wide head and big ears growled.

"If it's that pioneering gold medalist from the Udara Alchemy Conference..."
