Chapter 291: Greenhouse No. 3

Chapter 291: Greenhouse No. 291

He spoke so naturally that Sheen pondered quietly for a few seconds.

The difficulty of Animagus transformation lies in the complicated steps, the high demands on the wizard's will, and the ever-present unpredictability. If these points can be overcome, completing Animagus transformation in the first year is not a pipe dream.

Careful observation is also essential before performing the Animagus procedure.

Or rather, the guidance of predecessors is very important before learning any magic.

Sheen was about to speak when he was interrupted:

“Mr. Green, it’s…a pleasure to see you,”

Hannah was a little shy around Sheehan, but she became rather fierce when she turned to Justin.

"You haven't been able to bring Mr. Green to the club in so long, I suspect you're slacking off again—you don't even go to recruit new people... Justin, you don't act like a vice minister at all."

How can someone like you find the castle cat?

After she finished speaking, she angrily pulled Justin, who looked sad, away.

Only Sheen remained, holding the book and shaking his head.

……

In the afternoon, Ravenclaw will have herbalism class.

Sheen left the castle, walked through the vegetable garden toward the greenhouse, where all sorts of magical plants were cultivated.

He approached the greenhouse and saw the other students standing outside, waiting for Professor Sprout.

Just as Sheehan joined them, he saw Professor Sprout stride across the lawn, accompanied by Gilderoy Lockhart. Professor Sprout's arms were covered in bandages.

Sheen seemed to be deep in thought. He looked into the distance again, where several branches of the "Hit-and-Beat Willow" were also being slung with bandages.

Plants in the magical world are always peculiar; for example, they need to be bandaged when they are injured.

In front of Sheen.

Professor Sprout wore a patched hat over his flowing hair, and his clothes were always covered in dirt.

Gilderoy Lockhart was spotless from head to toe, wearing a flowing turquoise robe and a turquoise hat with gold trim atop his shimmering blond hair.

"Oh, hello everyone!"

Lockhart called out to the students with a beaming smile.
"I just demonstrated to Professor Sprout how to treat the 'Beater Willow'! But I don't want you to think I'm better at herbalism than she is! I just happened to see a few of these strange plants while traveling..."

Sheehan looked up and saw that Professor Sprout did not look well.

Hogwarts rarely has wizards that even Professor Sprout dislikes. She is a very magnanimous witch, and Sheehan can't imagine who could make Professor Sprout angry with just a few words.

"Today we're going to the third greenhouse!"

Professor Sprout said she was visibly annoyed, a stark contrast to her usual cheerful demeanor.

Her complexion improved slightly when she passed by Sheen:
“Mr. Green, your mother took a lot of mandrake leaves from me. It seems you are learning Animagus transformations?”

She naturally pulled Sheen to her side and asked in a friendly voice.

"Yes, Professor."

Sheen answered.

"Oops——"

Professor Sprout was very pleased, and her pleasure seemed to stem from more than one aspect.
“Oh—how could you speak like that—child, it’s best not to speak while holding a leaf in your mouth.”

"I see,"

Sheen nodded slightly, then explained,
"Professor, I succeeded."

"Oh, this... my dear little flower, you succeeded?"

Professor Sprout's voice was filled with genuine surprise and joy.

While the two were talking, Lockhart, who was smiling, was undoubtedly ignored. Lockhart's eyes darted around, but he didn't leave for the time being. Instead, he followed them into the third greenhouse.

"Am I right—Sheen is Professor Sprout's private...?"

Nearly a year has passed, and Michael hasn't given up on his astonishing conjecture. Anthony once again covered his mouth, until his IQ returned to normal.

"Then, how do you explain this..."

After breaking free, Michael began to gasp for air.

"If you can also get a perfect score."

Anthony's book contains a ranking list.

Sheen was undoubtedly number one in the entire grade. It is said that the professors even argued during the grading session—to discuss whether there should be additional points on top of a perfect score.

Then came Hermione, the little witch who was both talented and hardworking; followed by Justin and himself.

The two are tied for third place.

Anthony frowned.

Sheen Green is undoubtedly powerful, as evidenced by his Green Notes; he is almost impossible to catch up with.
Hermione Granger is no less impressive; she's a know-it-all, excelling in every aspect and a formidable opponent.

Justin Finley, everyone knows he's in sync with Sean Green, so it's understandable that he's achieved something;

But where did Harry Potter, who was only a few points behind him, trained Quidditch three times a week, and had a mediocre and disappointing start to the school year, come from?!

This guy is terrifyingly strong in black magic defense and spells; if this continues, he won't even be able to keep his place in the top three.

"The one you found Sheen and the others..."

Anthony spoke.

"Oh! Of course!"

Michael raised his eyebrows.
“Although I gave the opportunity to Nave, I discovered an interesting fact: they both joined a special club.”

While the young wizards were making a ruckus, they entered Greenhouse Number Three.

No first-year wizard had ever entered this place before—in the eyes of the young wizards.

In reality, Sheen defeated the Bumpy Vine, dealt a heavy blow to the Devil Vine, and even had his Poison Tentacles bound together with the Yeti summoned by the Polymorph spell.

Whenever she comes here, Sheen is reminded of that winter shrouded in magic.

Greenhouse number three smelled of damp earth and fertilizer, mixed with a rich floral fragrance. The flowers, as large as umbrellas, hung from the ceiling.

Professor Sprout stood behind a bench in the middle of the greenhouse.

There were about twenty pairs of earmuffs of different colors on the stool. As the group sat down, she said:

"We're going to repot the mandrake today."

"Professor Sprout, you don't mind if I sit in on the class, do you?"

Lockhart's large, white teeth gleamed in the sunlight.

Judging from Professor Sprout's expression, she minded.

"I think the professor might mind; after all, professional matters should be left to professionals."

A voice sounded from behind him; it was Bruce, his senior.

“Dear Mr. Lockhart, as you know, there are always some plants in Greenhouse No. 3 that shed strange powders that can have all sorts of effects.”

“I happened to see all the plants in the greenhouse during my travels. Oh, but I know, I know perfectly well, that doesn’t compare to winning the Wizard Weekly’s Most Charming Smile Award five times in a row.”

Lockhart appeared to be very elegant.

Some of the little witches in the greenhouse already had their eyes shining.

"that would be great."

Bruce looked at him with approval, as if he had come to help Professor Lockhart with his comedic timing, and then turned and left.

Before he left, he heard someone say:
"Oh, you've put the itching powder in?"

The plot continues, and Lu Ming will release it all at once three times a morning.
